"We stayed twice at the Riccarton Inn. It's traditional with a pub up front and rooms at the back. Very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. This is not a hotel chain but an individual inn. The rooms are not new, nor full of modern amenities as some would require. The mattress was creeky. Nevertheless, if you want a truly Scottish experience full of authentic ambiance, you cannot beat Riccarton. We ate breakfast and dinner in the inn and found them delicious. Had to hop on a couple of buses to get there from the airport, but that was part of the fun!"

"The room is very spacious, the furniture is very old-fashioned, including the quality of the bedding is also good, the landlord is a kind and meticulous person, the 79-year-old is doing things in an orderly manner, I don't have his memory, everything is not falling! Take a look at the restaurant first, ask what time to eat breakfast, what to eat, and then take it to the bedroom, introduce bath towels, foot pads, water heater switches one by one, and inform which wardrobe the hanger is in, and what key is used to lock the bedroom door ．．． The next day, I personally do it early and want to help. He said this is his job. When I said luggage storage, he gave me the door key to prevent himself from being at home. In fact, he was at home."

"Breakfast and afternoon tea are good. Family of three can request a queen bed The front desk may arrange rooms with small beds. Stayed two nights because I just arrived and felt super nice. Cancelled the hotel in the city and added one night. I changed a room the next night. There were so many mirrors in the room. It was mainly in the morning that Baidu made this hotel so famous that it was one of the world's most famous Lingyi castles, which caused us to be afraid, but the children were very happy. It's a different kind of experience. In addition, the hotel has an owl eagle breeding park, which can be reserved for eagle feeding when you are over 16 years old."

"It's far from the city center, not very convenient. There are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby. I feel like living in a barren mountain. There is no elevator in the hotel and it is very difficult to carry luggage. The breakfast is rich, but the quality of coffee is poor. The dinner is good and the service attitude is average."

"We arrive late night, the receptionist did our check in then help us to order food from town cause kitchen was already closed. We had some drinks at the bar and the barman was friendly, we had a really good chat about the history of the hotel.
Rooms are very comfortable, cozy and with a really.nice decoration. Our breakfast was so good, all the buffet fresh and the staff really helpful.
Definitely we will come back."

"I had a wonderful stay at Courtyard Hotel! The rooms were modern, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. The hotel’s amenities, including the fitness center and on-site dining, were excellent and added to the overall experience.
While the location is a bit far from the town center, the peaceful surroundings make it a great retreat away from the hustle and bustle. If you’re planning to explore the city frequently, be prepared for a bit of travel time, but the hotel’s comfort and service definitely make up for it. Would highly recommend for those looking for a relaxing stay!"
