My wife and I spent a few wonderful days at Boato Hotel, and we can genuinely say that our experience was excellent from beginning to end. The property is beautiful and peaceful, but what truly made our stay special was the warmth, kindness, and hospitality of the people. We would especially like to thank Emmanuel, Francisco, Daniel, Gabriella, and Julian, as well as the wonderful chefs. Everyone was friendly, professional, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our experience special. A very special thank you also goes to the housekeeper who took such wonderful care of our Room 10. Our room was always beautifully prepared, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Your hard work and attention to detail did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything you did for us. The food, service, peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and genuine kindness of the staff made this much more than simply a hotel stay. It became part of the beautiful memories my wife and I created together in Colombia. We would absolutely recommend Boato Hotel to couples, families, and anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway with exceptional hospitality. To the entire Boato team: thank you for making us feel so welcomed and cared for. We arrived as guests, but we left feeling like friends. We will definitely be back! Nuestra habitación siempre estuvo impecablemente preparada, excepcionalmente limpia, cómoda y acogedora. Su dedicación y atención a los detalles no pasaron desapercibidas, y realmente apreciamos todo lo que hizo por nosotros. La comida, el servicio, el ambiente tranquilo, los hermosos alrededores y la genuina amabilidad del personal hicieron que esto fuera mucho más que una simple estadía en un hotel. Se convirtió en parte de los hermosos recuerdos que mi esposa y yo creamos juntos en Colombia. Recomendamos totalmente Boato Hotel a parejas, familias y a cualquier persona que busque una escapada tranquila y hermosa con una hospitalidad excepcional. Incredible service, property was beautiful and even better than described online

Boato Hotel is a great relaxing atmosphere. I would suggest it for couples trying to disconnect. It is easy to get to in a car down a somewhat rough road off of the main highway. We did not have any problems in a 2WD SUV. Don't count on being able to get an UBER, and drive or have booked transportation is you are going here. The clubhouse is at the top of the hill with the restaurant and reception. Upon arrival they valet you bags to the LAR/room. The rooms are down a quite steep path that is concrete and runs from the clubhouse to the lake. The rooms are very private, have good amenities/hot water and great views. There is not heater or air conditioner, so be prepared for the climate when you are going. Food is delicious and delivered directly to the room when you want it. All communication can be had in person at reception or via Whatsapp. We did jet skis and massages while there and enjoyed both experiences. During the day we traveled to nearby pueblas since other that the water activities and amenities there is not much to do at the hotel for entertainment. I highly recommend renting a car so that you can enjoy both the hotel and surrounding areas.

Our family stayed at the Boato Hotel during our visit to Guatapé in February and really enjoyed the peaceful setting and beautiful surroundings. The hotel is in a great location right by the reservoir. We felt safe during our stay, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We especially loved having access to the water. Kayaking and paddleboarding on the reservoir were highlights for the whole family. It was a great way to relax and enjoy the stunning views. The hotel is located on a hillside, so be prepared for a fair bit of uphill walking between the rooms and common areas. It was manageable but worth noting, especially for families with younger kids. One thing to be aware of is that there are no food options nearby. You’ll need to either eat at the onsite restaurant or arrange transport into town, which is a bit of a drive. The food at the hotel was good, but having more flexibility would have been nice. Overall, Boato Hotel was a lovely and memorable stay for our family. It is a peaceful, scenic spot that's perfect if you're looking to relax and enjoy nature.

Excellent customer service, the experience begins from the moment you book the reservation, they are very responsive and attentive. The hotel is amazing, peaceful and pleasant. We loved the food, the staff, the amenities and the experience. We will definitely come back, we loved this place.

The cabins are self contained and super comfortable, with a very comfortable soft bed, plenty of sheets and blankets. We visited in March and had a mix of sun and rain and were very comfortable. The view from the cabin and deck is amazing and surrounded by nature. The jacuzzi was lovely and having a fire pit in the evening was perfect. Staff were extremely responsive and helpful by WhatsApp and kindly organised our taxi to the airport. Hot water was plentiful and filled the jacuzzi bath no problem. Internet connection was good in the cabin too. All the little details had been thought of and staff were great. Breakfast was delicious and served to your room if you wanted and always on time. And we loved the free use of the kayaks / paddle board on the lake too, everything was very easy. We found it fine to be able to get Ubers to and from the hotel too, or the reception can organise taxis, and it’s just ten minutes from La Piedra. Top location and hotel - highly recommend.

Perfect for Family Retreat. Boato Crew is amazing. Expect to bound with nature and disconnect from everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The living space was really comfy. Beds are amazing and the sounds of birds in the morning delightful. I can only recommend that place.

We have never stayed in a hotel like this. Our private little self-contained “Lar” was very comfy and well stocked. A short walk to the lake which was perfect for swimming on a hot sunny Saturday afternoon. We swam every day we stayed here. The water was clear and warmer than many swimming pools we have been in. One afternoon we rented a jetski and had a blast rocketing around the lake. The deck of the lar was ideal for a glass of wine to appreciate the sunset and we watched evening thunderstorms from the comfort of our bed under ample covers. We used the jacuzzi a couple times enjoying the sounds of birds and frogs chirping all around us. Nights were cool but we were cozy under the covers. A short walk up the path was the restaurant with a fine selection of food and drinks. The food has been excellent- breakfast, lunches, suppers. The service has been great too. Not much English but extremely willing to try to help. It was an absolute treat to stay here. We will earmark this hotel for a future visit.
