There is no meal, but we recommended many nearby restaurants. You can also buy tickets for attractions from the butler, which will be cheaper!

Although the fall colors are a little disappointing in Tachuan, the hotel is excellent. Location wise it is situated between the main attractions of both Tachuan and Honcun within walking distance. The facility is very modern and thoughtfully decorated. The rooms are clean and with all amenities you want to have. They provide good breakfast free and also wonderfully cooked dinner from their menu with very reasonable prize. The host and hostess are extremely friendly and helpful. Such a fantastic place to stay in this magical village… we felt extremely welcomed since our arrival, the room was so tidy and comfy with all the amenities you could wish for. The breakfast was delicious with attention to all the details including making their own soy milk. We also had dinner there on our last night and the food was nothing short of a fancy restaurant but with the care of a homemade meal. I will never forget my time here… the village is also one of the most magical places I had the chance to visit. The staff helped us get a taxi to our next destination, they were really nice people and we wish to visit them again someday. Thank you!

We stayed at a guesthouse located right in the heart of Hongcun, which made it very convenient for exploring the village. The lodging was clean, comfortable, and fully functional. The owner and his wife were genuinely kind—they personally came to pick us up and even prepared a small farewell gift when we left. Hongcun itself, however, was extremely crowded despite not being in peak season. Because of that, if we return to the area, we’ll likely choose to stay in Xidi instead. It’s about 30 minutes away, much quieter, and offers a similar traditional village experience without the overwhelming crowds.

A truly charming accommodation with a beautiful view over the village. The room was very spacious and perfectly equipped; there was even a small seating area where we enjoyed playing cards, as well as a bathtub. A small tip: you need to buy a ticket to enter the village in order to access the accommodation. There are also some nice local restaurants in the village. In the evening, there is a great fountain and water jet show. The only small downside was that there was never anyone at the reception, so we couldn’t ask a few questions. Despite this, we would definitely recommend this place.

Service was amazing! Such kind and helpful staff! The train to hotel transfer was a life saver, and they were very responsive via WeChat message. The room was absolutely stunning and the staff helped chill our sparkling wine so we could enjoy it on the terrace 😍 So many little thoughtful gestures during our stay made us feel super well looked after! We will 100% be coming back. Thanks for everything! ❤️
