My stay at the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was a mix of delight and slight inconvenience. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed, featuring many artistic elements that create a unique and charming atmosphere. However, there were some small design issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
One issue was the bed frame, which was positioned in such a way that it was easy to accidentally knock into it. Additionally, the courtyard rooms, while picturesque, were not directly connected to the main building, requiring a short walk, which was less than ideal during rainy weather.
Furthermore, navigating the hotel involved quite a number of steps and uneven surfaces, which could be hazardous if one is not careful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel's overall ambiance and artistic flair made for a memorable stay. With a few adjustments, the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel could truly shine as a top-notch destination.

The B&B environment is very clean and very worthy of the price! The facilities in the room are very new, including smart toilets, bathtubs, disposable toilet mats and various accessories. The proprietress is also very enthusiastic and gave us a special cake 😋 Before leaving, she also helped us deliver our luggage to the entrance of the parking scene area. Great location and friendly owner. I got this place because of the location & affordable price. This homestay also allowed you to try the traditional custome for free. What's surprise me is the free gift ( one bottle of fresh homemade chrysanthemum) after the check out. Worth the visit and nice ambiance. The design also great.. I called the homestay via trip.com call to inform them before my arrival and they can arrange someone to pick me at the entrance. The owner also can arrange for me on the next day send off to train station. I'm so satisfied with the arrangement and human touch of this homestay.

When traveling to Anhui, I prepared a guide in advance and finally chose this hotel. The hotel environment is good, clean and sanitary. The breakfast is also very rich. It only takes five minutes to walk to Hongcun attractions. It is very convenient. The hotel location is particularly easy to find.

This time we brought two little babies with us and we had quite a lot of luggage, so the boss was very considerate and came over with a cart to help us move it. The hotel yard is large, so the babies have plenty of space to play and are very happy. I really enjoy the hotel's environment, which is quiet, comfortable and clean. The location is very good, very close. It only takes a minute or two to get in the car and get something. We lived here two years ago. This is the second time I have stayed here. The location of the B&B is pretty good. You can get there in five or six minutes on the right hand side after entering the south gate. There are also several tourist photography tours around. However, I am a Hanfu party member and brought my own Qinghan women's clothing (manual hehe). I found this hotel to be a comprehensive one. After considering the price and room view, the key is that there is a big roof where you can swing and take photos. I think it’s amazing. The lady boss is very nice. September is not the peak season and it won’t be very noisy. It’s very close to Nanhu Lake and Moon Marsh. Not far, great! The store also helped deliver it to the bus station, which was great

A very satisfying stay! The room is large, with simple decoration style, complete facilities, and a clean and tidy environment. I chose the second floor to see the distant scenery, which is great! The surrounding area is quiet and not far from various attractions.
The boss is very considerate and helped arrange carpooling, pick us up at the entrance of the scenic spot, and also provided a tour route. I will stay here again next time I come to play~

The boss is very friendly. When he saw that there were elderly people staying, he specially adjusted the rooms on the first floor. The location of the B&B is very good. You can park your car directly. You can walk directly to the village from the backyard. The B&B has a large yard. The weather is good in the yard. AAnonymous UserStaying in this hotel was a pleasant surprise, because the hotel we booked before did not allow dogs, so we temporarily changed to this newly opened B&B. The decoration was very new, as if it had just opened. The hotel environment was very comfortable. There were pigeons in the yard, and those who like small animals can pet the cats and dogs. Our dog had a lot of fun playing in the yard. There are chickens and geese in the backyard. It is said that the eggs we eat for breakfast every day come from here. I also got a new experience in life
Great Sound - Singing Bowl Therapy. I had only heard about it before, but this time I experienced it myself. What can I say? It's just comfortable, a kind of comfort that can only be felt but not expressed in words. The therapist said that everyone's feelings are different. There is also a glass room studio in the hotel where you can paint. Anyway, it was a very fulfilling stay experience. The most important butler service is very thoughtful, and I would like to commend it here.

Service: The staff were extremely accommodating and welcoming! We were able to communicate via WeChat and organize transportation beforehand.
Location: This guesthouse is a 5 minute drive from the main Hongcun Village entrance and the owners kindly drove us there! Although this hotel isn’t inside the village itself, it’s still convenient and in a quiet location!
It’s a 1 hour drive from the Huangshan North Railway station and 1 hour drive to the Huangshan Tangkou Transfer Center.
Food: There’s a restaurant on-site which has an extensive dinner menu. Honestly, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner without leaving the premises! Very convenient and the food is good quality- highly recommend.
Amenities: The guesthouse is newly renovated and has top notch furnishings. Everything is clean and comfortable. The floor heating was nice to have in December!

There is a terrace on the third floor where you can take pictures of the panoramic view of Hongcun. There is also a big golden retriever. The manager and the boss are very friendly when talking to each other. The service is warm and thoughtful, especially the boss, although he is an old lady, he still lacks charm. The overall feeling is very relaxed and pleasant. The shortcomings are that the houses in Hongcun are very close to each other. The streets are cramped and the sound insulation is not very good. The scenery is still a good Jiangnan water town.

We chose the Qingyin Caolu B&B, which is located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. It only takes 2 minutes to walk into the alley from the big tree at the entrance of the village. My kid and I stayed in Yuese Xishi room, which had a big bed and a big window. The weather was fine and the view from the window was stunning.

GGuest UserI originally reserved a room for one day, but the boss was so kind and the courtyard was so beautiful. I stayed here for 4 consecutive days and I couldn't bear to leave. You can sing, eat, and fish in the small courtyard. There is a large area of rice at the door. The misty mountain is especially fairy. The surrounding area is very quiet. When you enter the village, there is a long and beautiful road with flowers, rice fields and mountain bosses on both sides. There are bicycles that you can borrow to ride and take pictures. It is really beautiful. The boss is really caring. The room is very comfortable and the facilities are complete. The bed is very comfortable and the toiletries are very good. Because it was raining and the clothes were not dry, the boss even took the dryer specially. There is also a toilet mat for babies in the room, which is very suitable for bringing children to play. The meals cooked by the aunt are also delicious, and the boss also gave the children fruits to eat and special products when they left. Knowing that we were going to Jingdezhen, the boss asked a friend to help us book a discounted hotel. When we left, he sent us to the car like a friend from afar. Mom and Dad also lived very comfortably and made friends with the boss and mom. They insisted that I stay for a few days when I came back from Jingdezhen, and I would take the children on vacation when I have time. My mother told me to write more good reviews 😄😄

GGuest UserI felt like I was at home. Every day I ate with the boss and his family, dug bamboo shoots, took walks, and chatted. It was very comfortable and cozy. There were many books in the house that I could read, which also fulfilled my yearning for rural life. I originally booked three nights, lingered in the nearby scenery, and liked this kind of life. I stayed a few more days. I will come again if I have the chance😊

It's not far from the bus transfer station. It takes less than ten minutes. Buses to Huangshan South Gate, Xidi and Nanping are very convenient.

The boss also has a Wheatfield Coffee, which is a unique place where you can drink coffee and relax in the sun. The coffee shop also has a little stray dog that was taken in by the owner. His left eye is broken. I hope that the puppy will thrive under the loving care of the owner and the store staff. When I come next year, I hope the puppy will still be there❤️

AAdeliaOwners were very kind to pick us up from the entrance of Hongcun and assisted us with our luggage. The Inn is located within the village which makes it convenient to return home after walking through the village streets at night. The room is spacious, bright and clean. We loved the large living space where we could hang out with family and chit chat. There's a cute puppy at the reception and the owners were very considerate to put it on a leash whenever my mum was around as she's afraid of dogs.
Would recommend this to all who're thinking of visiting Hongcun!

LLily MorrisaThis location was perfect and right in the scenic area of hongcun. It’s a little difficult to find at first but once you find it it’s easy to come back to if you put it in the maps app. The town is so cute and we were welcomed with little Hand-made bookmarks which was so sweet and a wonderful surprise. The one thing that was off putting and probably a one off is it seemed that there was a large family staying in the Homestay and in the middle of the night there was screaming and doors slamming on and off throughout the night. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or just happened to be a one night thing but it was a bit frightening. Other than that the location was very quiet when we got there and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay.
