A family run lodging with staff, Binh, providing good services and recommendations, making arrangements for motor bike rentals and transfer to airport. He communicates well in English, which is a big plus in Phu Quoc. A very friendly young man. Location is near the airport and night market, with easy access to a number of restaurants and bars. My two-night stay in standard quadruple room provided a very pleasant experience and I will definitely return in my next visit to Phu Quoc.

The food is delicious, the location is very close to the beach (about 3-5 minutes walk), the environment is quiet, and the service staff is very enthusiastic. It is about 7-10 minutes walk from bus stops No. 17 and 19

Excellent hotel in all respects, greenery, cleanliness, good restaurant, excellent rooms and 120 meters from the sea and the beach. The owner of the hotel and all the staff were very friendly, attentive, not a single request went unattended, and they were not always standard 😉 we will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Canary Bungalow. Clean, cozy bungalows are located in a convenient location: 3 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes to a good supermarket with a wide range of products. There is a restaurant on site with a varied menu and affordable prices. We had breakfast included in the price of our stay, and it was very tasty (every morning we chose our own dishes from a special menu). We also had dinner every day in the same restaurant, all dishes were tasty and beautifully presented. The hotel staff is very friendly, attentive and always ready to help. The Canary motto is “Come as guests, stay as family”, and we really felt cozy, calm and comfortable here, just like visiting relatives. Thank you!

During this trip to Phu Quoc Island, I chose several hotels to compare. Later, I gave up the hotels with more facilities and star ratings, and chose Canary, which is more natural and has a cozy feel like a B&B. In fact, before departure, I was quite worried about their environmental sanitation and room equipment (after all, the room price is quite favorable). When we arrived at the scene, we found that we were overly worried about everything😆 Kanari is located in an alley in the busy area. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the beach behind. 👍🏻There are many massage parlors, restaurants, etc. around the accommodation, so you don’t have to worry about food. Located in the middle of Phu Quoc Island, whether you go south or north, you can reach it within half an hour to 40 minutes👍🏻 The most noteworthy thing is that the owners of the B&B can speak English and there is no problem in communication. The breakfast provided is also good, and you can also increase the price to exchange for meals. Canary's restaurant is also famous for its delicious food in their location😋 (Tween's Kitchen is the name of Canary's restaurant😊) Kanari provided us with comfortable and high-quality accommodation for our trip to Phu Quoc Island❤️Either the cleanliness of the environment, the warm facilities like home and the location were better than the price he paid. I will still choose a good accommodation next time I travel to Phu Quoc Island😊

A very beautiful place, all in flowers and greenery! The location is excellent👍 The owners and employees of the hotel are very nice and smiling people! I really liked the cafe at the hotel, everything was delicious!)))

It is a quiet folk courtyard with a beautiful environment. The sea is just two steps away. You can swim at the beach in the morning and evening. The transportation is convenient, there is a lot to eat, and the folk breakfast noodles are very good. Recommended.

Family run I think, very freindly made us feel very welcome. Only about 10 basic rooms but was ok for us. Good ac and TV channels, not that I came here to watch tv. Restaurant/bar with good food. Lots of stuff close by mini mart etc. Short walk to beach which was very quiet when we were there.

Really good Vietnamese food and with vegan options! I can highly recommend this place for any meal of the day. I haven’t stayed in one of the bungalows but the staff here is really nice and helpful. If you are allergic to anything they will keep that in mind and make you the food that you can eat :)

Canary Bunglow is a charming little family-run set of units + restaurant down an alley between the main road towards Dương Đông and Long Beach, Phú Quốc. A highlight here is no doubt the friendly staff/owners who run the joint. Warm smiles, lots of personal care, and effective customer service. A few examples: I booked a 3 person room but had 4 people (oops - my bad) however they threw in an extra breakfast each day for my son for free, and another, my kids got free bookmark souvenirs on departure. Very sweet. I’m happy to support these kinds of places (over the mega corporation chain resorts) as it’s clear a lot of love goes into it. It really is a “family atmosphere” at this place. And they all work so well together; sit back and marvel at the well-oiled machine at work during a busy dinner shift. The rooms themselves are simple - just a room with beds and a bathroom. Nothing flashy there but they do the job. A green garden corridor runs between the centre of the units, lush with pot plants and colourful lights at night. One minor gripe is that the left hand rooms are adjacent to an alley which can get a little noisy at night with loud voices, dog barking, and scooter honking. Your standard Vietnam nightly orchestra really though. And speaking of dogs, the owners have a couple of playful pups which cavort around the units and restaurant all day - something to be aware of if you’ve got kids unused to curious dogs who like to get up close and personal. It’s a short 100m walk to the beach or up to the main road in the opposite direction, so there is plenty to do, see, and eat around the area. Not that you need to go far for good food - their restaurant has some tasty, unique options available (check out the coconut ice cream). The included breakfast isn't a buffet though and the menu and portions are spartan, so my advice would be to get a cheaper non-breakfast-included room option and check out other options around the area for breakfast. Overall - a comfortable, friendly stay for my family and I which certainly ticked a lot of boxes.

Food here is ok and kind of pricey. I had a great experience staying here for 4 days, 3 nights with free breakfast. The staff was very nice. I emailed them in advance to confirm by booking and let them know that I will be arriving.I also asked for a quote for taxi pick up from the Phu Quoc Express Pier to this hotel which they quoted to be $200K VMD. I used Grab and got it cheaper at $170K so I used Grab instead. They know a local taxi guy who works closely with the hotel so I ended up using him for the rest of my trip but you should quote using Grab instead to confirm prices and you can bargain for cheaper rates after you compared with Grab. I found Grab to be great for Phu Quoc and Saigon for best prices to travel around and efficient too. Hotel room was comfortable with big comfy beds, clean and service was great. Overall a great 3 star place by US/CAD standards. I asked the staff each day questions and they were able to answer my questions efficiently by email or in person. I do not recommend the 4 Island Cano tour for $500-650K package as there is not much to see for the Island and you can barely swim by Long Tour. It is a tourist trap where they try to get you to go shopping at Pearl shops and pay for extra services. The 4 Island tours by Long Tour is a total waste of time and I would never recommend anyone to take this tour or something similar when going to Phu Quoc. You are better using the moeny and time to visit other beaches area like Bai Sao, Ong Long Beach etc...instead. You can take the electric taxi around for just $30K for 1KM. We really enjoyed this ride and the driver took us to better and cleaner parts of the beach. You should check out all the beaches area in Phu Quoc and explore them. So stay in 3 star hotels to save $$ and use the $$ to go to different beach areas by taxi. Also go the other side of the Island and eat at Tinh Bien seafood if you love to eat Seafood Vietnamese style. We are there 2 times and love it. Much better pricing and more fresh than the seafood places close to the hotel or tourist areas. Total cost for Taxi ride there is just $100-200K each way, you can use Grab & bargain with local taxi to take you there :)
