Perfect location just one block from old town, super close to the night markets and grocery store. Rooms are just what you need, comfortable and clean.

Clean room, cool air conditioner

The furniture is quite old, the location is considered good. Located in a place to eat, easy to walk, close to 7-11, close to the old city area. Employees have problems and help immediately. You don't have to wait long. The surrounding cleanliness is fair because there is overflowing trash (common area).

The location is very good. It's right in Phuket Town. It's very convenient to visit Phuket Town. It's also convenient to eat around. It's worth recommending.

When I arrived last night at the hotel I booked with full payment in advance, the front desk told me that it was fully booked. After checking the order, they contacted a room with broken electrical appliances and asked us to wait an hour for an electrician to come and fix it. This was the only room. In the room, after waiting for about half an hour to check in, the air conditioner leaked severely and could not be used.

Night flight to Phuket, so as a transitional one-night option, the staff service is good, but the bad thing is that the various facilities are slightly outdated, and the blanket inside is exposed when you sleep under the quilt. I don’t know whether to cover the blanket or the quilt! The stool in the room is equipped with four slippery rollers. I didn’t pay attention when I sat on it. When I fell down, the stool slipped and I almost fell to the ground! Make it a temporary transition night!

The hotel is a bit dated... the room was the superior one and still quite basic. Full of small red ants. The staff very friendly and willing. The area is not bad but do not expect good views. Basic hotel to spend the night.

poor facilities

Lamoon has a lovely front façade, but inside was a bit like an old state school dorm. The design idea for the rooms is good but executed poorly. My 5th fl room at the back of the bldg looked as if it was hastily put together - paint and old glue along the walls. There was a hole in the wall with a wire sticking out, formerly a sconce location? The overall effect was a tired room façade needs attention from someone who has an eye for details. I was excited there was a tub, since it’s been a few weeks of travel and would be nice to have a soak. However, the plug provided did not fit the drain, and no stores (even big home improvement stores) carried plugs at all. The bathroom would definitely benefit from a separation curtain or small wall towards the front of the tub, since it’s fully indoors and doesn’t benefit from evaporation of being partially outdoors. I could hear staff and other guests in the hallway, the door is wooden without a seal. It doesn’t seem to be a party hotel, so the latest I was woken was when a group of friends were returning from their evening around midnight. The bed and linens were fine. A kettle, coffee packets, and water were provided. A mini fridge had purchasable drinks. The ac worked intermittently. Staff were all lovely. Overall, it was comfortable enough and close enough for walking around that I have no regrets. However, if I were looking for something more pleasing or something beyond a budget feel I might make another choice.
