Nové Město
I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was just ok. The pictures online are definitely “representative” of the actual room. The accomodations I paid for was a “superior double” with a balcony. I’ll be honest, for a “4 star” hotel, and booking directly through the hotel, my hotel room was pretty crappy and beat up. (See pictures below) Even the hallway leading to the rooms reminded me of college dorm housing or a jail cell block. The walls were significantly damaged and dinged, the “mini bar” leaked water onto the carpet, the remote control to work the woefully small TV was missing a battery and the back of the remote cover was missing, and the shower took a long time to drain. I was basically standing in a pool of water as I got clean. When I brought up my dissatisfaction with the manager (promptly the next morning since no one was on staff the previous afternoon) he wouldn’t offer me any money back (a partial discount) on my stay. Instead he offered a wellness treatment or a bottle of wine. I took the wellness treatment. And even that was just average. It consisted of a steam room (which smelled like dingey steam water), an infrared sauna (whose lights turned off and wouldn’t go back on), and a jacuzzi. Overall I was pretty unimpressed with this hotel considering it prides itself on being 4 stars. I only chose to stay here because my buddy got sick and I wanted to stay near his Airbnb. Frankly for paying $300 usd for two nights, I felt cheated. I’ve stayed in nicer rooms (better condition) for much cheaper stateside. Even in Vegas or NYC.. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Old Town
Fantastic location just off the Old Town Square. I had two stays here in June. Rooms are large and spacious. However, note that there is no elevator in this hotel, if that is important to you. We were two groups in our 60’s and 70’s and initially given rooms on the 3rd floor (American 4th floor). Luckily on arrival there was a young man who was able to carry bags upstairs but upon leaving I was told there was no one to help but after struggling a flight, someone came to help. For my second stay, I got a lovely room on the 1st floor, large, comfortable and great bathroom and shower. Avoid room 831 if you like to stand under a shower, bathtub with hand held shower only. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast with rolls, breads, meats, cheeses, some hot choices, yogurt, cereals. However, no fresh fruit other than bananas or apples. Overall, great choice and location and all the receptionists were very kind, lovely and helpful.

Witt Kopf
The room is slightly smaller, but the breakfast is very rich and there are quiche for the Chinese. Sports facilities, bar is very full, driving to the city of Prague as long as a quarter of an hour. Very good vacation choice
