"This stay is a beautiful cottage in the hills of Sabang. It is a climb to get to through narrow staircases. If you have bad knees or lots of luggage it will be difficult to get to. However, the view from the cottage is amazing at sunrise and sunset, overlooking the water. It offers lots of privacy and an escape from the boardwalk/pier area if you want peace and quiet. The Wi-Fi worked well in the room, there was air conditioning, and the toilet was separated from the shower. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. I would suggest purchasing breakfast with the room as it was amazing. They serve both western and Filipino breakfast. Overall a great stay if you can manage the hike up there."
"Absolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly. They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue.
Thank you so much fo rhaving me and for all the laughs.
Michael"
"Authentic Philippine cuisine, the environment is good, there are not many tourists, because it is an independent island, there are crab boats to and from the back and forth for the whole family, you can have an extra bed, but the quilt is covered with sheets, very cold!"

"The room facilities meet the basic requirements for bathing and sleeping, and the hygiene is also good. Every time I come to PG for diving, I stay at his house. It is right on the seaside and very close to the dive shop and the main street of the village. It is very convenient for diving and eating."

"The front desk is on the third floor of the same building as the erotic gogo near the main story of Sabang Beach. There is a 7/11 for shopping and a laundry shop about a 5-minute walk away. If you drop it off in the morning, it will be ready by the evening. It costs 300 yen for a two-seater tricycle from the port, and 400 yen for a four-seater tricycle on the way back! The restaurant is currently closed. I bought groceries at 7/11 and ate in my room. Two bottles of water are provided free of charge every day, and you can get free water at the front desk, which was very helpful. There was a screen on the balcony. The soap doesn't lather well. It's a shame that there is no pool."
"The hotel is located three minutes from the white sand beach and does not have a close proximity to the white sand beach. The hotel's internal environment is not bad, there is a small swimming pool, but the water quality is worrying, swim for a while and a layer of black. The choice of breakfast is small and the taste is average. The price is more expensive. When it comes, the weather is too late. There is no comparison. The price of eight or nine hundred is enough for five stars. Compared with the service, there are only two front desks. The surrounding area is all over diving, so it is not appropriate to look at it."
"Huge disappointment. I had selected this hotel to take advantage of its immediate seaside location. But the strange layout of the hotel means that most of the rooms overlook the corridor, requiring the curtains, which are blackout curtains, to be closed. Result: from a super bright room with possibly a sea view that you were hoping for, you find yourself in a completely dark room. There is therefore no point in being by the sea. (Photos taken with the door open and curtains open).
The general quality of the hotel is average, and the prices charged are therefore excessive.
Room size ok, but:
- no chair or table available. You only have your bed to sit on, eat, work,...
- noisy air conditioning, which you therefore cannot leave running at night if you want to sleep properly.
- wardrobe, but no coat rack in it.
- a refrigerator, but which does not get cold, or even heats up.
- no shower gel available in the shower
No problem with cleanliness. Good quality bedding also.
Simple breakfast, served on a plate.
Not a hotel where I will return and which I do not necessarily recommend either."

Great
WWumilanxianThe dishes cooked in this restaurant are a little too salty. If you stay, you can communicate with the front desk.
The front desk can also provide services such as island hopping. I chose the longest one, 1000p per person, and the whole service is also very good.
DDr.CHENGThis is a newly renovated hotel. The first floor is the 711 supermarket, which is very convenient. The second floor is the hotel's KTV and bar counter, and the third floor is the hotel's guest rooms. Sabang is very small, and the hotel is close to both the dock and the dive shop. After each dive, you can return to the hotel to freshen up and rest. The hotel is equipped with security and surveillance, and there is a safe in the room, which provides security for every customer, especially when you need to keep valuable items such as cash in the safe, which will be very safe. The hotel staff have a good service attitude and will help guests solve any problems. PG is a diving paradise, I will come here again next time.
AAnonymous UserCasalay Resort truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff who made us feel like family. Everyone was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — we especially loved catching up with them after our daily activities. It’s those small, personal touches that made our stay so special and unforgettable.
The resort itself is a peaceful and beautiful escape — the villas are charming and surrounded by nature. Breakfast was always delicious and filling, the perfect way to start each day.
We do have a few small suggestions that might make future stays even better:
1. Blackout curtains on the villa verandas for those who like to sleep in.
2. Clothing hooks in the shower or changing rooms would be super convenient.
3. It would be great to have an option for two queen beds in rooms, especially for friends traveling together.
4. And if all villas are fully booked, we think it would be such a lovely idea for the resort to organize a long dinner or a small evening activity for all guests to connect and enjoy the evening together under the stars.
Overall, we had an amazing experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you again to the entire Casalay team for making our stay so warm, relaxing, and memorable. We’ll definitely be recommending your resort to our family and friends — 100% love and appreciation from us to all of you!
GGuest UserIn a bay, quiet, with just the right amount of waves.
There is a private beach, quiet, children can play all day.
Snorkeling is available as soon as you enter the water, the water is clear, and there are many colorful fish.
The boss's cooking skills are amazing, and the coconut chicken soup is endless.
Bring your friends and come on a vacation, it's really fun.
NnomandzExcellent place if you want a peaceful stay by the beach. Staffs are accommodating. The room is spacious for its price. The place is quiet and away from the bustling city.
MMateja BokanThis is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!
GGuest UserThe hotel was built very interestingly, like a medieval castle. There is a swimming pool on site, and sometimes in the evenings there is live music playing around it. The rooms have natural wood furniture and luxurious four-poster beds. The air conditioner worked properly. The restaurant has delicious food and a 20% discount for hotel guests. The hotel is not located on the shore, but close, in a convenient location in the center. Among the shortcomings: there was not always hot water, the safe in the room did not work. Some rooms are located high up, it is difficult to climb the stairs to them, there is no elevator. A very good option for your money.
LLunate sigmaHonest Review
Pros:
- The lady who was in charge (We think she's the manager) is really nice and helpful.
- Distance: THIS WAS THE ULTIMATE DEAL. Hotel is near the beach and most of the local restaurants so we didn't experience any problem. (I recommend the cafe and 'Terminal' near the beach 😊)
- AC and the room was perfect. It was really hot outside and the temp plus the room felt really homey and comfy
- The hotel was really pretty or what we call aesthetic. My baby really liked the designs
- Free breakfast and coffee was a good deal, but don't expect too much.
- How much we got the reservation for 3d2n. Great offer from this app :)
- Staff are nice especially the ones in the restaurant. Wasn't able to ask her name but she was a waiter there and also served our food (afternoon) and the guy who was at the front desk when we checked out
Cons:
- Service fee. I do understand that this is necessary to support the staff, but if you are on a tight budget it might be better to eat outside (sorry...)
- Food was too expensive for the quality and the quantity... I recommend the chicken inasal since it had a big portion.
- Room service and cleanliness - Manager said we could ask for a room service and we could just call them of we need one. We called them on our second day and we waited until our stay ended but no onr came to clean 😅 The girl who answered the phone was kinda masungit or maybe it was the tone of her voice. She told me that they are quiet busy at the moment and told me to just wait - I do understand if they're short staffed or something? But the dirt was kinda bothering us already so we just tried to clean the room on our own
- Cockroaches and ants. So in connection to my previous review... Yes, there are cockroaches in the room especially the bathroom. It doesn't help that they don't clean the rooms daily.
- Breakfast is not a room service. You have to go down to the restaurant and eat it there.
- Room view. Our room was in the corner of the hotel. Our view was okay because we are can view the pool... And our neighbors ac unit lmao. On the plus side since the units were emitting hot air, it was easier for us to dry our towels 😂 It was really different from the picture.
- Pool was kinda dirty
- Overpriced goods. They have a mini store in the hotel but it would be better to pack up snacks or drinks before coming here.
- OUTSIDE FOOD ARE NOT ALLOWED. Better be careful when bringing meals in the hotel.
Even after listing this, we would still love to come back and stay here. I do hope they give us a better room next time 😅
AaldenZhaoCost-effective, cheap during the May Day holiday. Internal hygiene is good, towels and other supplies are dehaired, toothpaste, toothbrush and shampoo are charged, it is best to bring your own. Very close to the beach, 3 minutes walk, there are many diving clubs next to it. Surrounding dining is also OK, Korean restaurants are not bad.
