The hotel lobby smells particularly good, and when we go at Christmas, a huge Christmas tree is projected on the wall, which has a festive atmosphere. There are drinks while waiting. This place is worth every penny….. Location 10/10 Food 10/10 Decor and cleanliness 10/10 Staff 10/10 We stayed here for 1 night in August. Everything was impeccable, I couldn’t even find something to score them down on. The staff were all fantastic, a couple were outstanding at service but I didn’t get their names. I had several personal touches as it was my birthday on the day we arrived. Food was incredible and Indigo restaurant is accredited by Coeliac UK which was a bonus as I have Coeliacs. The tasting menu with Wine pairing is highly recommended as is the gluten free fish & chips! 10/10 will go back as soon as I can.

Excellent! We were assigned to the 7th floor, the executive room was upgraded to a suite, and an extra small bed was added for free. Compared with other hotels in London (such as Marriott Apartments and Indigo), the service response is very fast, and you can basically get what you want or the service you want within 20 minutes. For a particularly highlight moment, the hotel prepares a little Waldorfian passport for the children who stay in the hotel. After completing the adventure, go to the hotel front desk and put the corresponding sticker on it, and you will get the mysterious grand prize (a small teddy bear). We started the challenge on the last day after leaving the store, and unfortunately there were no more teddy bears in stock. However, the hotel tried its best (front desk, room service, concierge) to help us find a teddy doll. A handsome black man at the front desk called his colleague and said: ”The child is leaving the UK. He passed all the challenges. Can't get it?” He will be very disappointed with the teddy bear, please help the poor child.” Finally, when leaving the hotel, the hotel gave the child a teddy bear and many blessings. The executive lounge is also fantastic. A very good stay experience, I will book again next time!

Had afternoon tea for my birthday with my son, the staff Avataar and Fransseca were wonderful they went out of their day way to serve us. Extra sandwiches were on offer if we wanted more. They were so knowledgeable about the teas and even come round with a birthday card with cake and candle for my birthday. What a wonderful gesture. There was also a pianist playing in the centre of the room which was very delightful. On our way out I managed to get a photo with Sean who we have regularly watched on the Savoy on ITV. What a wonderful friendly chap. What a memorable day.

Booked a 2-week long stay at Middle Eight for both business and leisure and was able to experience 2 types of room tiers during my stay. Specifically for the Urban room which was a larger sized room, the room was large (by London standards) and the bed was extremely comfortable. Toilets are small but had all of the great amenities including an excellent rain shower with good water pressure! The hotel property is very new, very beautifully designed and the location of the hotel is perhaps one of it's best traits - you're within a 5 minute brisk walk from 2 underground stations (Holborn & Covent Garden) - there are lots of great dining options in the near vicinity of the hotel however this also means that on weekend nights noise from surrounding pubs can be heard by hotel guests. Aside from this though, my stay was excellent, and I will definitely be rebooking with Middle Eight during my next visit to London!

PROS: Staff, facility, food CONS: Location First, I wold like to thank the staff for their excellent service, in particular, I would like the management to recognize 我的名字是Meijiaxue for her help. Staff speak minimal English but worked very hard to understand us and give us extra care. I would recommend that the hotel have a wechat account available for foriegners to contact the front desk for easy translation. 我的名字是Meijiaxue connected with us this way, via our request. She went out of her way to help book us a car, order food and buy products. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The rooms are stunning and feel very high end, luxury. The building is new and well maintained. Shampoo, soap and conditioner is a lovely lavendar and mint, natural product. Upon arrival you are given tickets for on site alpaca feeding and DIY drawing activity. We only did the alpaca feeding which only took 5 minutes but was immensely fun. Breakfast buffet was well done and more than enough food for only 24 rooms, primarily chinese food but some western dishes. Location was the only downfall. I thought being only 15 minutes from downtown and the beach would be no problem for a taxi. However, it was almost i***osible to get a taxi or Didi. There is nothing else in the area so there are no cars in the area. One night we wanted to go to dinner and waited an hour trying to get a car, before eventually giving up. The staff then helped us to order in food instead. If you are able to get a car, its only around 20rmb to DT, when we were able to get a car. Overall, I would absolutely visit again and recommend, Ideally with a car.

Let's talk about the location and facilities of the hotel. The location is the most suitable distance from the sea. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Tiger Rock Sea Park, and because the distance is right, Living is not damp at all! The room was clean and clean.
