The hotel is very well located, most of the historical sites and attractions are within walking distance. The room was well-equiped, quiet and clean. The internet was fast. The staff were generally very helpful. The breakfast was very rich in choice, with many types of local specialties. The waitress could even give an induction of what was on offer. The road near the hotel could be congested during peak time, but using ride-hailing app to get a taxi was never a problem.

Thanks to Turbo at the front desk, we upgraded from the temple room to the bell tower room with the best view on the fifth floor of the hotel. You can have a close-up view of the bell tower and West Street arcade through the west and south windows without leaving home, and overlook the twin towers of Kaiyuan Temple and Quanzhou. Half of the city can be seen with fireworks, but there is no hustle and bustle. The decoration of the hotel is low-key and simple, and various details convey a thoughtful sense of relaxation. The room is spacious and exquisitely decorated. The bedding is a light warm yellow, the bath towels are an impressive dark blue, and the toothpaste is made from Italian MARVIS. The tea sets are clumsy but elegant, the tea is made from mountain spring water, the red tea is mellow in the mouth, and the snacks are of good quality. The hotel's breakfast is semi-buffet, with a variety of local snacks on the menu. The portions are small but exquisite and very appetizing. New renovation has given it a much modern touch and comfort feeling. Front desk reception remains exceptional as in the past. The only one complaint is the lighting brightness in the bathroom above the facial sink - totally inadequate to support a proper shaving - needs to be brighter so that guest could see their own faces. Otherwise, everything is what it takes to be a top rated hotel.

Excellent hotel. It gets everything right. Welcoming, easy check in, comfortable and spacious rooms, clean (which for a large hotel with such high occupancy is the clearest way to see that it is a very well managed hotel!) and a full, delicious breakfast buffet with healthy choices. I’ve stayed there several times and think there must be a new manager because the post Covid version is especially good. A shopping area adjacent to the hotel offers a good place to wander. I’m a Hilton Diamond member but chose to stay at the Wanda Vista when I’m in Quanzhou.

I upgraded the room with my Ctrip membership. There is no noise when the windows are closed. There is also a beautiful terrace on the fourth floor, which is perfect for afternoon tea if you are not in a hurry. The room is quite tidy. There is an electronic toilet that flushes automatically. The water power of the shower is also good. The washbasin is separated into dry and wet areas. However, the disadvantage is that there is no place to put clothes in the bathroom, so clean clothes can only be changed out. This is not good. So satisfied. In addition, I feel that the small size of the room is a bit tasteless and meaningless. Every time I insert the room card, it will restart. This speed is enough for me to manually open the lights and windows. The service is good. There are warm drinks at the front desk when you come back in the winter evening, so you can drink whatever you want. Breakfast is provided by the Singapore Tour restaurant next door. The place is an old mansion that’s been turned into a hotel. It has very nice architecture, with beautiful sofas, chandeliers, and other furniture and decorations. Room/facilities: Our room had a bathroom, a bedroom and a living room with a dining table. So there was plenty space for hanging out. There’s an old grand piano that can be used by guests. The breakfast was okay. But at least you can have coffee in the hotel. There are balconies, a beautiful courtyard, and a rooftop, with many sofas, chairs, and tables, where you can relax. We were there in February, but I’m sure it’s a very nice place to relax in the spring and fall. Location: It’s close to old temples, and the walking street that has many restaurants, cafes, and shops to buy juice and snacks. There is a great duck restaurant close by. It was the best duck, a local specialty, that I’ve ever had. Service: The staff is very hospitable and helpful. They really make you feel at home. They even shared some local tea with us.

Children especially like the braised eggs, and they are free of charge for breakfast. In the old town, it is convenient to travel with a child's car! Downstairs is the Confucian Temple, and Kaiyuan Temple is 1.2 kilometers away. You can get there quickly, and all kinds of classic novices can be solved. We stayed in Quanzhou for two nights and had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. Ginger duck, crab meat ball soup, cordyceps soup, etc. were delicious! very good! Will stay here next time!
