I chose this hotel because we needed a place to stay for just one night before an early morning flight out of Fiumicino after our time in Tuscany (It is an easy 35-minute drive to the airport on Sunday morning), but I wish we could have stayed longer! The staff was so friendly on check-in and told us that we were welcome to explore the public areas of the villa, which are covered with beautiful paintings and frescos. They provided us with a write-up on the very interesting history of the Villa. Our rooms (we booked two for our family) were very clean and good-sized, with comfortable beds. Yes, the wifi was spotty, and the rooms could use a little updating in terms of things like outlets), but they really had everything we needed and the charm of the place makes up for those things. One room had a beautiful view of Rome, especially at night! We also ate dinner in the hotel's elegant restaurant and it was a perfect last meal before we left Italy. The service was wonderful, prosecco was flowing freely, and the food was delicious!

I stayed 4 nights in the Raffaello suite with my family. The hotel is beautiful, in the super central area in the historic centre of Castel Gandolfo. The suite is located on 2 floors with a fabulous terrace on the lake Alban, a large bathroom with well 2 showers, a huge TV and comfortable beds. We were very well, except for some things that do not give me the maximum vote: a time relating to a kind of constant noise, day and night, which was felt from the room. I don't know whether it was generated from the heating plant or what, it is that every 2-3 minutes started a sound that lasts about 5 seconds to stop and repartite in loop. For me, who have very light sleep, it was always a problem to sleep, not for my wife and daughter; the second thing, and here we all agreed: breakfast. We stayed with my wife for 3 nights, from 23 to 26 November 2021 Essential room, clean and heated, spacious bathroom and accessories with clean products and towels every day. Good and abundant Italian breakfast. The staff was very friendly and careful to find a quick solution to our particular request. It is very advisable and whoever wants to spend a few days in quietness, two steps away from everything but far from chaos.
