"Great location—just a 2‑minute walk from Beppu Station, so it’s super easy to get around. The hotel itself feels more like a casual, budget‑friendly stay, but still very clean and cosy. Rooms are standard in size (typical for Japan) and nicely decorated with a Japanese touch.
The big highlight is definitely the seven private onsens. It’s rare to have so many options in one hotel, and soaking privately is a treat, though you’ll likely need to queue during the day.
Another fun perk is the late‑night ramen service—a warm, tasty bowl after a hot bath hits the spot perfectly.
The hotel is popular with tour groups, especially Korean travelers, so it can feel busy at times.
Overall, it is a convenient, cosy, and affordable choice."

"The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view."

Hotel near Kannawa Onsen,Beppu
A modern Japanese inn whose guestrooms are all detached and feature their own hot spring baths; perfect for room-only accommodation during your vacation in Beppu
"Everything was perfect.
The location is perfect, right next to the Kawasaki bus stop. The Toyonokuni Expressway Bus makes traveling between Fukuoka Airport and Hakata Tenjin easy, much more convenient than taking the JR train.
There are quite a few restaurants nearby, including a large 7-Eleven across the street and a supermarket about 700 to 800 meters away.
The overall ambiance is classic Japanese, quiet and peaceful. The rooms are all single-family houses. Although the room we were assigned was slightly different from what I had seen when booking, with only a semi-open-air onsen, we were traveling with just my daughter and me, so one onsen was more than enough.
The staff was very friendly and provided detailed information.
The only downside was that there was a light-transmitting window above my bed, with no curtains, which caused me to wake up early every morning. However, this wasn't a big deal for me, so I give it a full rating. Highly recommended!"
