Great location. Any major attraction can be reached within 20 minutes. Spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff both at the reception and during room service. We initially had a corner room, but found it a little noisy for us. At the reception they changed it without any problems for another one. There are several good restaurants nearby. Reception's recommendations were also excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but in the same building on the base floor there is a garage (not the hotel), which can be accessed without entering the ZTL zone. Price 35 euros per day. But opposite the garage there is a paid city parking lot, where you can also leave your car. To get into the hotel from a garage or parking lot, you need to call from downstairs so that a receptionist will come and open the door to the elevator hall. We liked the breakfast. There was a bit of a lack of variety in egg dishes, but there was plenty of other stuff. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. Restaurant is fine. You get the voucher with 20% discount when check-in so the price becomes reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and will return here again. Rose Garden Palace Roma by Omnia Hotels

Via Veneto Rome|1.78km from Tempio Buddhista All'Esquilino
We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

Auditorium Mecenate

Termini Central Station Rome|0.11km from Tempio Buddhista All'Esquilino
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience! Clarissa at the front desk went above and beyond to help me when I was confused about the type of room I booked. She was kind and helpful and made me feel happy and excited about our stay even before we arrived. I combed over so many reviews for a good room in Rome on a moderate budget. My criteria was to find a room that was affordable (around $60 USD/night), locates within walking distance/public transport of all the attractions, comfortable, and sound-proof. It seems that from all the reviews written, some rooms did not look as they were advertised. But Auditorium di Mecenate looked just as was advertised. The room is a little small but perfect for couples who want to stay close to one another in such a beautiful city. There was a great AC that kept the room so cool, a smart TV that offered us everything from Netflix to YouTube, and a mini-fridge. There was a market just around the corner, so buying our own food occasionally helped us save money. Additionally, there were some great cheap/moderately-priced restaurant options nearby as well as a termini station within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable and the staff worked so well to keep our room clean. They also gave us croissants every morning by hanging a bag on our door. It was so nice to wake up and have them waiting for us. We had such a lovely time that we ended up staying in the room more than we thought we would. The only note would be that if you order a double bed it’s liable to be two single beds pushed together. We typically don’t like this, but in this hotel, it wasn’t so bad. This place is also small, so there aren’t many rooms. But that gives you the feeling of being in a much more personal place with all the convenient features of a hotel, which I loved. Lastly, the door is not clearly marked. It’s behind a large wooden door directly across the street from a pharmacy and next to a pizzeria with a yellow sign. It’s located on the third floor and there is a lift! We would definitely stay at this location again. We were beyond pleased and had such a lovely stay in Rome thanks to this hotel.

Central Lodge Hotel

Termini Central Station
We stayed for two nights at Central Lodge Hotel and had a wonderful time. It is located in a good area, with many supermarkets, bakeries, coffee bars and parks nearby. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the Colosseum. We actually didn’t use any public transport at all as we felt everything was more or less in a walking distance. Therefore, we would say Central Lodge Hotel is very central. It’s a very cool but calm place with nice scents everywhere. You almost can’t tell you are still in a hectic city. All of the staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The rooms had recently been redone and were super clean. The breakfast offered a wide variety of food from eggs, cereal, fruit, yoghurt to pancakes and many more. Whether you wanted to start your day healthy or indulge some sweets it was all possible. Coffee, cappuccino etc. was served upon request and was not limited during breakfast time. Throughout the day there was a self-service bar with American coffee, tea and a refill station for hot and cold drinking water. All was for free. To sum it up we can definitely recommend staying at this little sanctuary.

The main advantage of the hotel is that in the central railway station, the hotel itself is actually very old, but it can still be used as a rest station. The service itself is relatively weak. After all, the facilities are some years old and the service personnel are not professional, but as Transition is ok

The location of the hotel is good, within walking distance to the Colosseum. The condition of the hotel is average and the facilities are relatively outdated. However, the breakfast service is okay, and the grandpa at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. If you don't have high requirements for accommodation and don't want to spend too much money on accommodation, but you want to live in a place with more convenient transportation, this is a good choice.

We have been sleeping two nights in this B&B in Trieste near the railway station, in a third floor palace with lift. There is a parking in Silos nearby. Clean and spacious room. Heat. New bathroom. Exceptional shower. Abundant hand towels. Coffee machine with capsules. Heating machine with tisane. Fridge. All the structure is furnished with contemporary design works for sale. Recommended.

The location of the place couldn't be better, everything is walking distance, rooms are clean and spacious. Every room has a private bathroom, nespresso machine, which was great before a long tourist day!!! :D The host was very nice, always ready to help, always reachable. I highly recommend Clemy! We will definitely go back.
