"Where does one start? We were here for only 2 nights before we headed to Yangshao but would have liked to stay longer. The location is convenient, walking distance to the sun & moon and various restaurant/shops. The hotel is pristine. The rooms were excellent; clean, firm bed, fantastic shower, well equipped with the usual toiletries.... anything else was available from the reception. No need for the traditional kettle as there was an instant water dispenser for tea or other, varying the temperature as desired. It's very tech savvy, good for me but did need to explain to my elderly parents. There's a free laundry service, breakfast was just right with a diverse selection of offerings. The restaurant for dinner was good value with delicious offerings. Most of all, were the super helpful and friendly staff; from reception, breakfast service, dinner and housekeeping... they were faultless. I highly recommend.The hotel piccies are a true reflection of the rooms so not sharing but will post a picture of the Guilin famous beer fish dish, which was very yummy. ❤️"

"Probably the best customer experience in China so far! Staff is extremely nice and helpful, even though not all speak English. Hotel team does the best to make your stay amazing! Hotel has central location, about 7 mins walk to Sun/Moon Pagodas. Room is huge in Twin, comfy bed, bath tab, shower, all the necessary supplies and complimentary soda drinks in the fridge 💖 breakfast is mainly Chinese traditional, but still you can find many variations for western taste. There is a SPA in the building and Tourist counter where you can book all excursions. Hotel staff efficiently arranged 2 sessions of massage in the SPA for late evening hours and massage was just fantastic! You can also get the discount as a resident. On the first floor there is super tasty Hong-Kong style restaurant. As I already mentioned, hospitality and care was amazing ! Would definitely choose again and recommend this accommodation! P.S extra thanks to a guy from morning shift on the front desk (sorry, don’t know the name)! Very caring 💖 and more thanks for unexpected traditional style gifts that we received on our check-out and leaving 💖"

"I am a world traveler and have stayed in Guilin many times. This is my now my favorite hotel in China and one my best hotel experiences anywhere. I stayed for one week. This is an intimate, boutique style hotel. Service consistently exceeded expectations from every staff member - at check-in, dining room, housekeeping, daily free laundry, free cultural and activity experiences, concierge assistance - outstanding level of friendly service. Staff at the front desk speak English. We also took advantage of the free costume photography and unique chime and bowl singing mediation. The value is excellent for the affordable cost. The bedding assured a great night sleep and the room had a spectacular view of the river and mountain. We were provided free drink, including my favorite local beer, and snacks from our room mini-cooler! The hotel has a great location near many attractions, and also has access to a long river walkway behind the hotel that takes you to one of the major parks. Many excellent food choices for Chinese style breakfast with the famous Guilin noodle. There is no bar at this hotel, but I brought my beer or drinks and smokes up to the rooftop terrace to relax with the spectacular view. Lounge sofa chairs in the lobby openair balcony overlook the Li Jiang river flowing by. Delightful place to relax with a drink from the coffee/tea service. (It was closed unfortunately for two days I was there, due to a meeting. Ask when you check in about availability of this feature.) Taxis were available when needed, literally, within a minute of ordering. I also took advantage of simple facilities in a gym space and a large and fun kids play room when a toddler came to visit. Overall, the best place to stay for vacation time in Guilin."

"Located in Guilin Creative Industry Park, the layout of the hotel is like a private garden, and the Chinese furniture is a home style, which makes this low-key hotel a model to be imitated in the industry. It is comfortable to stay here, and I can't help but praise it."

"This is a well-established hotel, reputedly Guilin's first five-star property. Its location is excellent; both the Li River Pier and Elephant Trunk Hill are within easy walking distance, and the theater is also very close by. A special thanks to the gentleman at the front desk who kindly arranged a fantastic room for me. As it's peak tourist season, the hotel was bustling with international guests. The breakfast spread was also quite decent. If you're an early riser, you can take a stroll along the Li River to beat the crowds."

"Location: The location is extremely convenient, right by the Li River and very close to Xiaoyao Tower. A short walk along the river takes you straight to Elephant Trunk Hill Park. The hotel is also conveniently located near Jingjiang Princes' City and Dongxi Alley (East and West Alley). Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean. Service: Excellent. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. In the evening, they even provided foot bath tubs for a relaxing soak, which was a truly wonderful touch. It was the most comfortable hotel of our entire trip. They also provide laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer. Lobby welcome fruit/snacks: The complimentary welcome fruit and snacks in the lobby were fresh and delicious. At just over 600 RMB, the price was excellent value for money. If I ever return to Guilin, I would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"The location is excellent and convenient, offering a very authentic local vibe! The surrounding streets are frequented by locals, providing good value for money without compromising quality. **Facilities:** The hotel's interior furnishings are a bit dated, but it provides all the essentials. Though it's not a high-rise, each floor seems to have a good number of rooms (judging by room numbers, roughly 70+). There's only one elevator, located to the left of the lobby. The air conditioning is strong, and the shower water pressure is good. **Service:** Room and cleaning services were excellent, friendly and enthusiastic! However, some individual staff members at the front desk, particularly during the afternoon to evening shift, had a rather poor and dismissive attitude, speaking with a tone that felt more assertive than polite towards guests. **Transportation:** It's very convenient to reach Dongxi Alley, Xiaoyao Tower, Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, and Elephant Trunk Hill. Getting around on an electric scooter makes accessing all these places even easier. **Sun Protection:** It's even hotter here than in Guangdong, so make sure to take precautions against heatstroke! Most people tend to stay indoors during the day and venture out in the evening."

"After a week-long trip through Guangxi, this hotel truly stood out as excellent value for money. It offers exclusive access to the entire park, with stunning views of Elephant Trunk Hill across the river – you'll have the best photo spot all to yourself! The electric shuttle service was incredibly prompt; even when we returned after 11 PM, they were there to pick us up at the park entrance within minutes. The rooms are spacious and offer beautiful views from the windows! At breakfast, nearly 30% of the guests were international visitors – I bet a major international travel blogger has recommended it! The pool is also fantastic for kids to splash around in."
