"We absolutely loved the Yangshuo Ancient Garden Hotel. Sofia at reception spoke perfect English and was incredibly helpful with her advice on where to visit. The hotel is about 15 mins from the centre of town (West St) - just an AUD$3.50 DiDi ride (loads of DiDi cars everywhere). The hotel and its grounds are in the rural countryside, sitting amidst the beautiful karst hills. The room itself was super clean and beautifully appointed. This is an exceptional 4 star hotel. You don’t need 5 stars when you have such a wonderful hotel and it’s setting. Don’t be alarmed by the rustic entry from the street. Once you are through the front gates, you will not be disappointed. We used the free bicycles from the hotel to ride along the river to the Dragon Bridge. The views of the karst hills next to the river and the rice fields were exceptional. This was one of the experiences that we will treasure. It was absolutely worthwhile staying in this fabulous in Yangshuo for a night after the river cruise from Guilin (we have been to many places in the world and the scenery along the river was the absolute best that we have ever seen - take a 4 star boat and you will also have memories to last a lifetime). The room was extremely clean and large - we had a family room with a massive king bed and a queen bed). Bathroom was really nice. Free drinks in the room’s minbar. Good breakfast was included, along with afternoon tea. There’s a good sized pool. Catch a DiDi for about RMB160 back to Guilin. Save yourself the trouble of looking for another hotel in Yangshuo. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience."

"This tea-themed hotel I stayed at was a real surprise! From the very beginning, I felt incredibly caring—the owner even provided pick-up and drop-off, saving me a lot of trouble finding my way around. The hotel's ambiance far exceeded my expectations, far superior to the city-friendly chain hotels I've stayed in before. The elegant atmosphere of tea culture permeated every corner, making it incredibly comfortable. Even more unexpected, the hotel even had a swimming pool, perfect for relaxing on my downtime. The breakfast was also highly recommended; it was quite substantial and featured a variety of local snacks that were incredibly delicious. Plus, you can buy tickets directly at the hotel, which was quite affordable and very convenient. My only regret was that I was so caught up in the experience that I forgot to take photos to document it, so I could share them with everyone. Overall, I highly recommend it! Also, if you're planning a bamboo raft ride from Jinlong Bridge, definitely book here, as the Jiuxian Pier is right next to it, allowing you to catch your ride at 7:30 AM and return for breakfast."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the facilities are amazing: from the clean and refreshing pool to the comfortable rooms, everything exceeded our expectations. What makes this place even more special is the unbeatable location. The view of the mountains and river is simply breathtaking, you can sit for hours just admiring the scenery. Another highlight was the boat service that takes you directly to West Street, the busiest and most vibrant street in town. It’s such a unique and convenient experience! Having all these things together—the view, the facilities, the warm hospitality, and the thoughtful touches—made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Yangshuo! 🌿✨"

"One of the best hotels I have been to, probably the best in China! I was planning to stay one night, but fell in love with the hotel and extended one more night!!! I was totally impressed, it was better than expected! Everyone in the reception was very friendly and attentive to all my needs. They also upgraded my room for free (unexpected surprise)!! The view was breathtaking, and it looked like a landscape painting. The overall environment was warm and quiet. The location was great, transportation was convenient, with hotel buggy helping with transfer from one building to another, and the room was super clean, good for fussy people like me. The housekeepers, Xiaoying and Xiaogu, were very thoughtful and helped me solve many problems. There is a wechat group where there's a group of people working in the hotel to help solve problems, and the response is immediate! Also, the photographer, Cai Cai, took beautiful photos with great photography skills!! I also loved the dress I rented from the shop. ❤️ Such a memorable stay, will definitely come again!! ❤️"

"The hotel staff is very polite and helpful, they also speak good English. As the hotel is about a kilometer out of town, they offer a free shuttle service. There are also a couple of bicycles that are free to use and in ok condition. We rented a scooter from the hotel for a day, which is more expensive than renting one by the road but it's super convenient and in very good condition, also comes with a charger. The pool is clean and served us well in very hot weather conditions. We only had breakfast once, which was fine but a little expensive for what it was. It's a western style breakfast though, for everyone who misses eggs and bacon, go for it. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!"

"Yangshuo's Hidden Gem Mountain View Guesthouse: An Unforgettable Experience! I was absolutely delighted with this guesthouse we stayed at in Yangshuo! The mountain view room we booked offered an absolutely breathtaking vista. As soon as you open the window, you're greeted by a panorama of lush, rolling hills, and when mist enveloped the peaks, it felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink wash painting. Enjoying the mountain scenery with a cup of tea on the balcony in the morning was pure bliss. The guesthouse's environment was meticulously maintained; the courtyard was spotless and charming. The infinity pool was absolutely stunning – you could swim while admiring the mountain views, and every snap you took looked like it belonged in a magazine! The owner was incredibly hospitable and attentive. They even helped us plan our sightseeing routes beforehand and recommended some fantastic local eateries that only locals know about – absolutely no tourist traps! The room itself was very spacious, with an open layout that felt airy and inviting. The smart amenities were incredibly convenient, allowing one-touch control for lighting and curtains, making our stay both comfortable and effortless. This guesthouse significantly enhanced our Yangshuo trip. I've already recommended it to friends, and I absolutely plan on staying here again on my next visit!"

"The hotel boasts a convenient location, directly opposite the Qianguqing Scenic Area, with beautiful surroundings. The entire property is designed to blend seamlessly with nature. The lobby is very stylish, the rooms are spacious, and the views are absolutely stunning – I loved it. The third-floor terrace is a perfect spot for taking photos. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a wide and unique selection. Everything from pastries, hot and cold dishes, noodles, and steamed dim sum was available. There were nearly twenty different drink options alone! The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting us with finding a table, getting coffee, and even sharing many useful local tips, which was much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The hotel also features its own grotto and garden, which we unfortunately didn't get to explore due to time constraints. If I have the chance to visit again, I'll definitely come back for another stay. Highly recommended."

"The B&B has been around for more than 10 years. The wooden decoration in the room is well maintained. The surrounding environment is even better. There is a swimming pool and a lawn. Whether it is morning or afternoon, sitting on a bench by the river is a relaxing holiday. I recommend the food in their store. The handmade pizza is very good. It is not far from the scenic area. You can sit at the entrance of the bamboo raft. If you want a more classic section, it is also suitable to rent an electric bike at the hotel. The housekeepers have their own customized routes. Just follow them. I had a great time staying at Yuewu and the service was also great"

"This is a really great location with nice staff that will help you. They are good with helpful with almost everything other than food recommendations because they will just recommend their restaurant but that makes sense. Only thing that was a issue is they do not stop people from smoking in the hallways which can really stink and even tend to get in your room. They should put alarms in the hallway that go off to prevent this from happening."

"We really loved our stay at Kite Home Stay! The entire place was tastefully decorated. It was really beautiful, which really added to the beautiful views that can be seen from the room windows! The service was impeccable. The lady boss kindly upgraded us to a better room and she allowed us to check in early as the room was ready! She also provided good information about the area and always greeted us warmly whenever she saw us, asking about our day. The breakfast provided was really delicious and sumptuous! This has to be my favourite stay throughout this whole trip!"
