The reservation: We had reserved online a round table near the bay window (to see the Mediterranean and the bay of San Féliu del Guixols) for 4 people. We were seated at the back of a barely lit room, far from the bay window where the curtains were drawn (no visibility to the outside). The meal: We all had an a la carte lunch. The waiter brought us the restaurant card and the menu card - none of the documents were translated into a language other than Catalan (surprising for an establishment of this category!). We asked the waiter for some explanation of the dishes but without success (he only knew how to say fish and meat! without specifying what variety of fish and meat). So we took out our cell phones to translate all the dishes on the menu. (I might as well tell you how much time it took!) As a starter, I asked for octopus but unfortunately there was none! I took a plate of peas - what was my surprise to see a plate arrive composed of a dozen VERY salty peas with tiny pieces of pork belly or mushroom (I didn't identify anything) - As a second course (still on the menu) I asked for cod. I waiter brings me a plate composed of a fillet of duck breast without vegetable garnish! as I did not want to disturb either the waiter or the service I made no remarks to him (if I had asked to change the dish, I would have eaten in unison with the other guests while the cod was being prepared ). For dessert, the one I chose was no longer on the menu either (I really don't have any change!) so I chose another dessert (a tiny mille-feuille with a quenelle of ice cream). I would like to point out that having had an a la carte lunch, the plates are very minimalist and not very generous. Fortunately we did not select the menus, because the portions are generally smaller than that of the menu. The total bill for 4 people à la carte is more than 230 euros WITHOUT wine, bread and drinks or aperitifs. After the meal: Leaving the restaurant, we stopped at a café/brewery in San Feliu del Guixols to eat a pastry and have a coffee because we were hungry after leaving this restaurant. In conclusion: A restaurant in a very luxurious establishment but leaves us cold.
