Perfect holiday! Second time at the safari park and now booking up for a third as the hotel staff and everything about it makes it an easy family holiday. The animations team also are very good at making sure there’s plenty to do for adults and kids.

1st thing I will tell anyone is, book a restaurant at the reception when you arrive. Download the app and only once you are connected to the WiFi you can then book other restaurants at 2pm each day, but you can only book for that night and no days in advance, the app knows how many are in your room and automatically books for this amount, if you have a larger group with multiple rooms, just put the room numbers in the additional info and that will be it sorted. I wish someone told me this beforehand as it seems no one knows who to book when you ask them. Drink selection is great, the protur cocktail and pink gin and lemonade was a hit with my family as well as Estrella beer. Paper cups are actually pretty strong but a nice touch from the hotel at night you get glasses Rooms were lovely although we booked 2 rooms and they put the cot in the smaller room, which was considerably smaller I may add with various differences. Cleaners missed our room a few times had to actually tell reception as they didn't mop the floors or change the loo rolls, pretty basic stuff really. Food as expected, nothing spectacular but not bad either, always something to eat. We dined at the Asian twice, it was the best restaurant hands down, also tried the Italian and wasn't that fussed about it to be honest The lifts are absolutely horrendous, so in the main building the reception is level 1 then it goes up from there for rooms. the buffet is on level 0, so you have to go down stairs for breakfast lunch and dinner, or if you have kids and a buggy like 90% of everyone when we stayed did and rely on a lift it's a complete shambles. Says priorities on a sign but not enforced and no one really cared. Think my record was 14 minute wait for a lift The positives did outweigh the negatives for sure, the scenery is amazing. I definitely would not hesitate to book again in future

Absolutely terrible experience Most staff (all on front desk) are not helpful at all. The breakfast is unedible there is 4 restaurants here, good luck trying to get booked in and if there’s a space it’s for 1 (you’d think 1 table but no 1 person lol) The elevators are Scary The rooms are dated and you can hear water draining through the walls You might as well take a Sunlounger to your bedroom as the beds are awful The drinks are nice the beer is really good, but The cocktails are terrible. It very awkward to try and do activities even trying to play put put golf you’ll que up to play then be told you have to get a receipt even tho it’s free so you better like walking for nothing

Just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. The complex is huge took us a few days to get our bearings. There is so much to do here a week really isn't long enough. We arrived early around 12pm and room was ready in 15 mins which was nice. Pool towels 10 euro deposit each and safe was 2 euro a day and 5 euro deposit for key. We booked a 1 bed apt through TUI which had 2 small doubles pushed together pillows were very soft but bed wasn't the comfiest there wasn't a pull out sofa bed like you normally get in hotels they just put a sheet on the sofa and tucked it in which wasn't ideal as the sofa wasn't big or comfortable. There was 2 wardrobes with lots of hangers and space. Bathroom had a bath with shower overhead with soap supplied at sink and also at bath. Rooms were spotless and were cleaned 6 out of our 7 days as they don't clean on Mondays balcony was big. Food was OK iv had nicer all inclusives food was a bit repetitive and they didnt seem to do themed nights like most all inclusive hotels do. I always found something to eat but the choice wasn't great. You can book the on site restaurants (1 guaranteed at check in we booked the italian) but i found it impossible to get a reservation on the other days so we just ate in the buffet restaurant 6 of the nights and the Italian on the last night which was nice. All Staff were amazing and work really hard. They are all friendly and provide a great service. There are only 3 types of cocktails included on the all inclusive menu and they are out of a machine which is a pity but not a big deal. Fridges with ice cream available on all inclusive and soft ice cream in a tub behind the bar which is really good as well as slushies. Most of the pools are really deep there is a shallower pool at the back of the hotel, the jungle pool which is ideal for younger kids. There is also a splash park for toddlers at the back of hotel trampolines and go karts here too. Plenty of sunbeds never had an issue gettin one. We went to the water park once. We had a great day there and the food was much nicer there than the hotel. Food and drinks are included. If going the water park bring water shoes. the day I was there both my sons feet were cut along with a friend they made and lots of other kids seems to be a common occurrence according to the life guard we had a great day regardless. Kids loved the slides and the pools are a nice depth. We used the mini golf course 3 times (this is free but u need a ticket from reception) we found the difficult course the better one. Also bumper boats are great fun but cost 3 euro a go. Kids loved feeding the koi fish 1 euro for fish food. We also visited the farm kids loved feeding the goats great way to kill an hour not many animals but kids enjoyed it. My son used the protur kids club for pirates day and loved it. My kids don't really ever use kids club. Not sure what tui club was like we didn't use. Mini disco is good. The entertainment after isn

Just returned from our 3rd holiday to Protur safari and I'm sure not our last. We normally travel as a family of 3 but on our recommendation some friends flew out ahead of us to meet us for a few days. I'm pleased to say they loved it as much as we do. ( Thank you too Rachel for making them feel special 🙂) They have all said what a lovely hotel it was and would love too return oneday. Our little boy absolutely adores this place having gone at 3, 6 and now 8. He would live here if he could and is already making plans to work for Branko's entertainment team once he's old enough. 🙂 Big thankyou to Branko for being so great with him. Not only was he great with the kids during work hours but he also made my sons holiday by making a fuss of him if we bumped into him after he'd finished. Instead of chilling out after work with his friends he'd be busy dancing with my son for ages or chatting to my husband (Who'd probably had far too many holiday shandys by this point so apologies 😀) Hes a lovely guy and a credit to protur safari so be sure to say hi when you see him. Thank you also to the Protur and Tui girls who all work very hard to ensure the kids are having a great time and mums and dads get an hours peace 🙂. If you have young children I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel for a family holiday, You won't regret it 🙂

Lovely hotel, went with our toddler on our first family holiday and was not disappointed. Fantastic choice of food and drink options (I’d highly recommend the Italian!). The staff were very friendly and helpful and always chatting to our toddler and making silly faces which kept him amused during meals! The pools were still a bit cold as we went in May but there is an outdoor heated pool which was great. The hotel location is great - nice and quiet area for going for walks and close to Cala Millor as well which we visited a few times, but also not too far to walk to the beech!

Stayed at Safari Park in May and, as usual enjoyed our stay. One thing to keep in mind is the hotel is a large hotel with over 600 rooms and is aimed at families. If you are thinking of visiting as a couple be prepared for the noise of children. Check In was quick and the rooms were ready. There are 2 buffet restaurants and you are allocated one when you check in. The hotel is kept clean and tidy and the apartments which have either heating or air conditioning dependent on time of year and weather and has everything you need although the beds are quite hard. All members of staff are friendly, helpful and efficient, I have seen reviews saying otherwise but have never experienced any unfriendliness or unhelpfulness. Service at the bars is quick and friendly and the daytime and evening entertainment is OK some acts are good, some not so but that is personal choice. A children's disco is on at 8:30pm before the evening entertainment begins. In addition to the 2 buffet restaurants there are 4 other restaurants to choose from, these have to be booked. You can book one when checking in, the others you book on the day. A change this year is rather than queuing up at the kiosk at 2pm and hoping to get in you can book by scanning the hotel info QR code and use the link. There are plenty of pools and more than enough sunbeds to go around. Sunbeds are not only around the pools but also in other parts of the grounds so you can choose between pool or quieter areas. The facilities include a kids club, 2 splashparks 1 is free and one you pay for, and a small gym. Sports wise there are 2 minigolf courses, tennis courts, padel courts, volleyball, artificial football pitches a driving range and bikes are also available by going to the clubhouse just outside the hotel. If you have young children then I would say this hotel has everything you need. If you are a couple and want a quiet hotel then this is definitely not the hotel for you.

We went for 10 days and the experience was absolutely incredible! The hotel is beautiful, clean, plenty of room, tones of amenities and definitely focus to families with children. Super fun swimming pools for kids, jumping beds, go karts, little boats, mini golfs, mini disco, different shows every night, sports and games, fish that you can feed, pin pong and I could continue for a good while with the amount of things they have! What you see on the pictures is what you get, no photoshop used. In terms of food, I have to say it is really good (they have Theme restaurants too but honestly just with the options in the buffet you can be more than happy) They have lots of healthy options, lots of Spanish dishes, and also lots of other foods so you dont feel homesick ( example: fry for breakfast). But the most important thing to highlight here is the customer service. All the staff is really proffesional, nice and friendly, they have a great team for the Kids Club ( be awared the Kids clubs are for customers that get their holidays throught TUI and another operator I cannot remember the name.) Special mention to Jairo, our daily waiter as we loved eating on their terrace. Proffesional, funny and specially attentive with our kids. But for my family and I the highlight of our holidays was Rachel, their PR. That is what I call customer experience excellency. She is absolutely fantastic, warm, proffesional, super friendly. She made our first holidays as family unforgetable. And because of her we will be repeating the experience in Protur Safari Park.

Although the hotel is classed as a 4* hotel, we found this to be an average hotel. This is very much a family orientated hotel and we went during a week where most other guests had children under 10 years old. We don't have children and don't mind children at all, but at every turn there seemed to be a screaming child. We stayed in an apartment room, which was very nice and clean, the beds were very comfortable. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing twice and on both occasions this was dealt with very quickly. Thank you to Norma for cleaning our room :) Some of the food wasn't labelled but we managed to find enough to eat each time we went to the restaurant. The nightly entertainment was good and varied. The hotel is situated within a few other Protur hotels and is only a 10 minute walk to Sa Coma beach, which is one of the nicest beaches we have been to and the sea if very calm. It is expensive to hire sunbeds on the beach; for the blue sunbeds x 2 with a parasol and safe it is 18 euros a day and for the brown sunbeds with a foam pad x 2 with a small table, parasol and safe it is 35 euros a day. We visited Porto Cristo which is the next resort south of Sa Coma on the local service bus which only took 12 minutes to travel there and we caught one of the ferries back, which cost 15 euros each. We went to Cala Millor which is the next resort north of Sa Coma which has a lot more shops and again a very nice beach. The weather was good whilst we were there and all in all we had a good week away.
