Hotel Byblos Saint-Tropez

Great Hotel, super staff, excellent location, one of the best hotels we've stayed in anywhere in the World. Spoilt rotten by attentive staff ( especially Eric who looked after us at breakfast and when down by the pool). A must visit is the Byblos Beach, super soft sands, great facilities and excellent food at lunch time, private transfers are easy to arrange and provide a prompt service. Will most definitely be back and whole heartedly recommend staying here.

I enjoyed my stay at Byblos, particularly because I was significantly upgraded to a nice duplex suite from the single room I had booked through ASW - the organiser of the event for which I stayed at your hotel. I also loved the attention by the manager and all hotel staff to me and other guests and look forward to staying here again. Some funny incidents which slightly dampened my experience, and where improvements can be made(hence 4 not 5 stars for my review), are listed below: When I finished the complementary glass bottle of water that was in my room it wasn't replaced, so I had to ask a member of staff who came to check whether I was pleased with the housekeeping and she brought three cartons of water. I used an espresso cup for coffee and this was not replaced - housekeeping took away the dirty cup but did not replace it so there was only one clean cup and two saucers when I returned to my room after it was cleaned, somewhat giving the impression that I had nicked the espresso cup. Again I had to ask hotel staff to replace the missing cup; On Sunday I ordered pancakes with nutella at breakfast and it took around 20 minutes, after I had repeated my request to three different waiters, to get my pancakes. This was rather strange as all other requests from the kitchen (omlette, espresso) were dealt with promptly by breakfast staff; When I checked out I was told by reception that there was a balance of €6 to pay for a bag of nuts which I did not take. When I complained that I did not take the bag of nuts the receptionist removed it from my bill, but I am still perplexed as to how a fictitious expense appeared on my room bill. For me the mini-bar is an unnecessary headache in a hotel room because it means I must personally count each item and compare it against the mini-bar itinerary when I enter the room for the first time and each night thereafter to make sure I am not being charged for items I did not consume.

The Byblos is a wonderful hotel. The staff, facilities and food were all excellent. The location is perfect for walking, shopping and dining. The room was very comfortable with plenty of storage for clothes and luggage. Arcadia had the most amazing food with beautiful service, presentation, and taste. The Byblos Beach was the very best we've been to. Great service, sun beds, and resturant. We will stay there again.

Hotel Byblos is an experience of luxury and amazing hospitality. Would highly recommend. The experience here is something, you will remember all your life. The staff here is so friendly, polite, professional and helpful. Overall had the best experience. Thank you Byblos.

Nice hotel that is central. Clean and tidy rooms. Food at breakfast was great. Service is 5 star from all staff. Annoying that you don’t get a bed at the beach. The club entrance is a bonus. Mini bar prices are delusional though. Theres a mark up and then there’s delusions.

This was one of the best Hôtel experiences I have had. From the booking process through check in to dining, bars and housekeeping the staff were incredible. My room was spacious and well appointed and with a large bathroom. The whole ambience of the hotel is just superb. I loved breakfast on the terrace and drinks at the bar as the sun set were always so much fun. Can’t wait to return!

I had the best time during my stay at Byblos Hotel. The room was wonderful and overlooked the pool with a balcony that was perfect for morning coffee. The hotels commitment to sustainability was evident throughout the venue. The staff and concierge service were extremely helpful well in advance of our arrival. They were able to get all of the lunch, dinner and beach club reservations that we want it on the days we wanted them. They were extremely helpful in reconfirming our reservations at the venues in advance of our arrival, and even gave them a call when we were running late on the day of. The location was wonderful and just a five minute walk to everything in the center of town. It was nice having such a high end resort so close to everything yet in a place where you found peace and quiet and serenity in the surroundings. The club Les Caves du Roy is located in the hotel, but you don’t hear it at all as a guest. The food and bar program were wonderful as well. Highly recommend this hotel. Also, the hotel will provide complementary service to their beach club for hotel guests. I highly recommend booking a daybed at the beach club and making a lunch reservation in advance.
