"I didn't take pic of the room as it is basic but spacious enough. The hotel is strategically located in between various sightseeing sites. For travellers who opt for tram and bus, you choose the right location because opposite the hotel just accross the road, there is a tramvay stop and bus stop. Tramvay goes to and for the main train station if you are departing for Tashkent or Bukhara. While bus goes around the city. Take bus 22 to go around the city area such as Registan centre. Take bus 31 to and for airport. Really convenient, affordable, and I highly recommend it."
"Hotel location is good, quiet in the middle of the village, in the mouth of a village, not far away is a tourist spot. problem: 1. Wifi is too bad, almost no. If you need a computer to go online, you have to go to the third floor, where the signal is okay. 2. Sound insulation is not good. 3. The quilt is a white quilt. If you add the quilt in the cabinet, it is too thick. Even the waiter suggested using only the quilt."
"This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in in Uz. I am still very satisfied with this place in Samarkand. The hotel environment is very good. The room size is fine for me to live alone. Because the hotels here are not particularly large, it is okay in comparison. There is no way to compare with domestic ones. The hotel service staff are very enthusiastic and you cannot check in early. , at two o'clock in the afternoon, the guy at the front desk asked me to store my luggage and go out for fun. I would come back around one o'clock to go through the formalities. He promised to give me the best room. Well, the room would have a small terrace when I came back, hahaha. I played around in Kazakh Uzi. I only drank latte art coffee for breakfast here, hahaha. It would be even better if the Chinese flag could be hung at the entrance of the hotel. I hope the Ctrip hotel salesperson can help."

"The facilities are old, so it can't be helped, but there were shops nearby where you can buy daily necessities and simple food, as well as places to eat, so there was no inconvenience.
The owner responded to various requests seriously and quickly and was very helpful
They also arranged a one-day taxi to Shahri Saabs for a reasonable price of $50 (the driver told me it was $80), so I was able to afford a little more.
I enjoyed my stay in good Samarkand"
"After a few rough nights at a Soviet hotel, words can’t describe how happy I was to see this hotel. The male receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived as he let me check in a bit earlier after a train ride. The breakfast fulfilled my needs as they have fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, eggs, coffee… no complaint. The guy working at the breakfast area was also very helpful. After I finished gym, I went up there. He immediately asked me if I needed water. It shows that he’s attentive. I felt happy staying there. The reason I booked it was the gym. As an active person, I need to work out on my travels. The gym is not fully equipped but it provides with the basics such as a treadmill, a bike and weights. Location wise, it’s not in the center of the tourist spot but it’s walking distance. It took me 15 min to get to Registan. Don’t worry though as Samarkand is pedestrian friendly."
"Recommended, very good, there are commercial streets around, eating sugar apples, sticking teeth out, dental is not bad, less than 200 German materials are completed. You can walk to various scenic spots."

"Always my choice when I’m in Samarkand. The hotel owner was very kind to upgrade my room during my stay. Strategic location to many historical places, shops and restaurants. Overall the room was spacious, comfortable and clean."
"Hotel is new, there is a restaurant with a fountain and a beautiful yard. You can also order an indoor pool separately for an additional fee. Taxi to the main attractions 10-15 minutes."
"A particularly amazing hotel, the decoration taste is particularly good, breakfast is also very good. Although it is not close to the scenic spot, it is very cheap to take a taxi anyway, and it is very convenient to take a taxi to the scenic spot."

GGuest UserWe are so happy and satisfied with this hotel until the day we checked out. We were accused of taking the laundry bag which is worth 300k Uzbek SUM. I went up with 2 staff and it turned out it was in the drawer all the time (the funny thing is I never even touched it.) I don’t blame these 2 staff as I know it is their responsibility to make sure nothing was missing/stolen (though next time it would be appreciated if they can check it more thoroughly.)
What truly pissed me off is the attitude from another female staff at the reception named Zarifa. From the moment we checked out, she just looked grumpy and when my friend said “we never used it”, she reacted with “I am sure you did” in a very rude way! Even later on, it turned out to be in the drawer in the room, she was not even apologetic (the other 2 staff at least said “sorry for the mistake.”
This is one of the 2 five star hotels in Samarkand and I just hope what we paid at this hotel is equivalent to the amount of respect you show to your customers. The hotel really NEEDS to put more training in your staff’s service.
By the way, we had a really nice chat with another staff named “Firdav” at the first floor bar (if I remember his name correctly, he is tall and bit skinny). He had worked in Hilton for 2 years and the professionalism and politeness he demonstrated is just another level. PLEASE LEARN FROM HIM THAT HOW A STAFF AT 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD BEHAVE AND TREAT THEIR GUESTS!!
FFulankelinkingFacilities: Complete
Hygiene: Very good
Service: OK
Environment: Very good!
It is a tourist attraction! There are just a few places to eat! We rented a car and it was OK to travel! If you don’t have your own car, the garden is too big and a bit troublesome!
It is hard to imagine that in such a backward place, there is such a luxurious place, which is likely to be used by leaders for meetings!
MMladenowskiWe were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Although it’s rated 4 stars, it offers amenities and service comparable to some 5-star hotels. Our room was spacious, featuring a balcony, a spotless bathroom, and four complimentary bottles of water although we are a couple. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, arranging our private visit to the SPA and swimming pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious, with a wider and better selection than some nearby 5-star hotels.
The only downsides were the location of the rooms, which are separate from the main building, the absence of an elevator, and open-air corridors connecting the rooms to the dining and SPA areas. This can be uncomfortable during colder months like February, so dressing warmly is advisable.
This hotel is definitely THE BEST DEAL you can find in the area and it's just 10 minutes walk from the main attraction in Samarkand.
KKhaira EsmaliStaffs are friendly especially the one that is assigned in day time who always makes us coffee during our 3 days stay.. Kodus also to the lady (chef) who brought us pancake and toast bread during breakfast! 👌
but the other staff at night shift is a bit unfriendly.. Place is aesthetic even though location is not so ideal. Wifi is so bad and Smart Tv is not updated so we still need to set up the TV in order for us to be able to use Netflix and youtube. Overall, its still good!
SShawnEverything was excellent until the black out happened twice in one morning on our last day at the hotel. ID of the toilets need improvement - need the racks to be spaced out for hanging clothes and towels. WiFi can be improved, randomly getting cut out, not so ideal for working. Heated water in the shower was a tad too hot and couldn't make it colder. Mr T. loves the bidets and the multi-functioned toilet bowls. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide range of selection.
AAlyoninA very unpleasant surprise from a 5-star chain hotel: I am attaching a photo of a dirty floor. It could have been attributed to human error, a sad isolated incident, but as soon as we saw it we asked to change the room, they changed it for us, and in the next one it was no better. And so 3 rooms 😂 in the end we waited for the floors to be washed, because it was important to me that at least there were no other people's hair lying around in clumps. It's a pity that I can't attach a video. I had to go with the maid and concierge to show the hair and dirt on the floor in 3 rooms, such a pleasure after 2 flights.
Pros: good choice at breakfast, cozy bar in the lobby, empty SPA area, although the sauna and hamam were barely warm, unfortunately.
ООлесяThe hotel is of a high level of comfort - the room, breakfast, everything is great, worth the money! There are some shortcomings that should be corrected - the waiters in the lobby do not know the menu, they mix up the dishes. There is a large area around, they could organize scooter and bicycle rental as an option for leisure for guests. There is not enough transfer at least to the eternal city, to the fountain - you have to call a taxi every time.
MMladenowskiWe were thoroughly satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk manager kindly upgraded our room to a suite in celebration of my wife's upcoming birthday—a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for our visit. The suite, featuring a separate bedroom and living room, was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained.
Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide range of continental options. While I would have appreciated more local dishes, the variety and quality were excellent. Both the reception and dining staff were friendly, attentive, and eager to assist. The SPA area and swimming pool were spacious, clean, and designed to offer plenty of privacy, even when other guests were present.
Tip: About 100 meters to the left of the hotel, there’s a fantastic local BBQ restaurant with affordable, tasty food.
A heartfelt thanks to the hotel management and staff for the upgrade and making our stay truly memorable.
QQuest JourneyColibari Hotel Samarkand – A Cozy Retreat 🌟
Nestled in the historic heart of Samarkand, Colibari Hotel blends modern comfort with classic Uzbek charm. The rooms are clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, offering a restful escape after exploring the city. The friendly staff provides personalized service, making every guest feel welcome. Enjoy a delightful breakfast on the terrace with stunning city views. Conveniently located near major attractions, this hotel is ideal for a relaxing and authentic Samarkand experience.
RRamonLocation: excellent! It is in the same building complex as the Art Gallery Happy Bird, mentioned in Tripadvisor. Registan is about 300 m away, so after dinner I would walk there to see the illumination.
My room had 2 twin beds, was rather small but comfortable. Upon opening the windows, a cool breeze entered the room. Wi-fi was reliable and there was a water boiler for tea.
Breakfast was abundant and good. The cook, Dishoda, would make me an omelette every morning. In the same building there are restaurants and fast food/ice cream joints.
On my last day I took the train to Khiva, which departs at 11:46. The hotel allowed me to stay in the TV room, with wifi access, water and toilet facilities, for 10 hours after check out. I recommend Hotel Dyor.
