If you saw a postcard of Tuscany and imagined what it’s like this place looks like a postcard!! The views are amazing the staff is so helpful. The breakfast and dinners are so good We did an 8 day tour and we were looking for somewhere to relax and do a few day trips it was perfecto. Our carpet in the room was smelly no problem sent in two guys they removed and vacuumed!! I highly recommend Salvadonica

This was our first trip to Tuscany, and wow, it did not disappoint. Safe to say we'll never forget our visit! We had the wine tasting, which was excellent. It was about 3 glasses of wine and an olive oil tasting, and very much about the history of the region told in a very entertaining way. We loved it! The restaurant served us a picnic lunch, which we took out in the grass and watched a gorgeous sunset. I proposed, she said yet, and the restaurant was kind enough to give us a complimentary bottle of champagne and a commemorative leather corkscrew keychain. All the staff was excellent. We're looking forward to returning sometime soon!

As soon as stepped onto the property, I felt like I was in heaven! Views galore of vineyards and green hills. Property is very well maintained, the front desk staff provide a genuine welcoming and high level of customer service. The rooms are impeccable, with nice bedding, pillows, mattress, etc. bathrooms are modern style. The restaurant was great - you will not find a breakfast more superb! Great quality of food and huge variety from pastries, eggs, fruit, yogurt, granola, bacon, local cheese, etc. we loved our stay. Go to the market in the nearby town and grab some fresh break and sandwich fixings. Also I had shared with the staff via email that it was my moms birthday prior to our stay and they offered a cake to purchase to surprise her after dinner-the entire restaurant sang to her and it really made her day!

QI've had the fortune of living in Florence and visiting Italy more than anywhere else and they place really stands out. The location is stunning, surrounded by vineyards and Tuscan countryside. The rooms are contemporary with a lovely nod to the local characteristics like wooden beans. Great bed, great pillows. Nice bathroom toiletries. The grounds are beautifully kept with little touches everywhere. We did the picnic, massage and wine tasting. All I would highly recommend as well as a visit to the local town, which is just beautiful and only 6 minutes away. The restaurant is lovely and the staff are fab. I'd recommend the Caprese salad, chicken and gnocchi.

Great contemporary styled, heated rooms & suites. Very clean. Very comfortable. Best hotel if you are traveling with dogs! We love it here! Restaurant is a great added value. The views are stunning. Just perfect! We would recommend this hotel to people who understand rustic country style Tuscan comfort!

We stayed here one night while traveling around northern Italy. We arrived to a wine and olive oil tasting with sommelier Alessandro(? ) and 2 other couples. Tasting was best one of our trip with great wines and lots of information. Was nice to meet the other couples and relax. We went right from tasting to dinner reservation (and hadn’t checked into room yet). Dinner was exceptional and the suggested wine pairing was perfect. Views of the sunset from wine tasting and dinner were beautiful and the entire property is fantastic. Breakfast buffet the next morning was beyond expansive- anything you would want to eat and any dietary concerns met and wonderful espresso machines. So why not 5/5? First our room - we booked a deluxe room (I debated booking a suite but it was one night and we were arriving late and leaving early so did not). We were in room 25 and while room was impeccably clean it was like staying in a motel. Hard to get your bags there from parking lot on the gravel path and stairs. Apart from the main building there was a walking path in front of the room where the gentleman in the next room had a heated conference call at 7 am while walking back and forth on the gravel. Then a tractor went by and stopped to idle outside the room. Next the cleaning staff entered the storage room next to our room, banging the grate on the bathroom window several times and making a lot of noise. The neighbours also consistently banged their door shut the evening before and next morning so basically we did not sleep. Front desk staff were also “cool”. Not unfriendly but not really welcoming. Because we had booked the wine tasting and dinner back to back maybe they were annoyed we had not yet checked in however they did nothing to make that easier for us. The place was also very crowded so obviously popular. Overall a beautiful place with great food and wine - would stay again but choose a different room - where we stayed was not Deluxe and did not have a view.

This place is very basic - not luxury. Not terrible but certainly the worst place we stayed in Italy. (out of 5 hotels/resorts) Just a few thoughts: Beds are on the floor, furniture is cheap (like Walmart plastic lamps), closet is a metal rod in the room, no room service, no ice, breakfast buffet is Ok but not great, restaurant was average at best - we ate there twice and would not go back, service is nonexistent, and pool was not well maintained. Best part of this place was location - we explored all of Chianti region from here, Wine tasting at the hotel was fun - met people from all over the world, and the sunrise hot air ballon ride was great. Only posting to try to help others out - wish someone had told me the website makes it look much nicer than reality.

First and foremost the staff were amazing! Especially the receptionist's, we have to mention Giulia, Mirella,Jessica and Lenny. They helped us immensely. Nothing was ever too much trouble! The location was stunning, the pool was beautiful, the room was clean and it had the best shower. The breakfast was amazing! The one and only little complaint. The Aircon was not good 😬 it never felt cool in our room especially at night, and the fan had a horrible noise so that didn't help either. Except for this, we loved our stay!

My fiancé and I spent two nights in Salvadonica this June and we absolutely loved it. The views were gorgeous, staff friendly and food was delicious. We also did a cooking class with Antonella La Macchia and she was amazing. I highly recommend this- we made homemade pasta, pesto, biscotti, cecina and enjoyed some great wine over lunch. This is a perfect place to stay for couples, families or even a few nights for a solo traveler. We will definitely be back again, Grazie mille!
