"My experience traveling to the ****** was terrible! The number of cars and other vehicles on the freeway was unbelievable. This was on Thanksgiving Day! Worse that I’ve ever seen. Now for my stay, it was the best room and related facilities offered, including professional services and booking. The ****** was filled with fumes from smoking customers, but this was to be expected. Otherwise, everything else was clean, well maintained, and available. I wish the Buffet was opened, but best wishes I can only pray for. My dinner was good except when a person is used to their dinner Mom used to cook don’t match, it can be a little disappointing. However, the final outcome was satisfactory. I would do it again. The travel returning home was better because I left early 5:30 a.m."

"Staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Only negative was the people in room next to us that were smoking skunk **** all night. Came thru vents and we felt like we had a contact high. We had asked for non smoking. Mexican restaurant was good. Had nice bartenders and great shrimp cocktail. Very open and airy."

"This was the perfect place for resting and relaxing and getting away from all of the stress of every day lift. The food was delicious and healthy. The room was clean and had a great view of the mountains and lake. If you’re looking to stay off the grid for inner healing, this is the perfect place. I am definitely going for another visit."

"This is an old hotel with rich cultural background, all the staff are very friendly, the room service is timely and in place, the bedding and mattress are very comfortable, the breakfast is not to mention, the weekend menu will be replaced with the brunch menu. All the above advantages allow me to tolerate the only disadvantage of zero view from the window. Parking is valet, there is a cvs at the door, and there is a taco that ranks first in the United States within five minutes' walk, which is pretty good, but there is homeless on the roadside"

"We booked a regular king room. It was EXTREMELY dusty and felt stuffy/unclean. We immediately asked for a new room and told them what was going on. The front desk was really understanding about it and gave us an upgraded room for no additional charge which was much better. The staff is amazing, I wish I remember the name of the guy who helped us. And it is extremely close and walking distance to all the restaurants, mid gaslamp. However, I just didn’t enjoy the hotel itself overall. "

"The location of the hotel is right in the center of San Diego, the staff is very friendly. They kept our suitcases for us on the day of checkout until the evening. The hotel has a terrace with a 270° view of downtown San Diego, you can see the sunset and the planes landing at the airport. There is a coffee maker so you can have the coffee you want. I would definitely return to this hotel."

"Good facilities 1. Bad service, they don't clean the room daily, they don't make the beds or change towels 2. Excessive parking costs, $65 a day, a rip-off. THEY DO NOT HAVE PARKING 3. Terrible internet, it doesn't work 4. Excessive deposit on the credit card, $150 a night, they don't refund it 5. TOO MUCH HOMELESSNESS OUTSIDE"
