Beautiful boutique hotel in downtown San Francisco with very clean and spacious rooms .

My husband and I stayed at the hotel from February 8 to 12, 24, and returned after traveling to Los Angeles. The second time we stayed was from February 16 to 19, 24. Encountered the same problem. Even though we prepaid the room fee, we were still charged a deposit of 199 US dollars when we checked in. After receiving the credit card reminder SMS, we asked the hotel, and the reply was that the system made a mistake and it should be charged 100. The second check-in still required a destination fee of 30 US dollars per night, which was waived after another negotiation. Because of the wrong deposit collection during the two check-ins, we found the front desk manager to report the situation. The front desk manager gave a bonus compensation of 59 US dollars, but it has been a month since I returned to Shanghai, and I have not received it. After negotiation, Ctrip said that the reward would be given only after the next check-in. After returning to China, I received a notice from my credit card that my credit card transaction was abnormal, so I immediately stopped using it and exchanged it for a new card. Two experiences, many bad experiences, I advise everyone to be careful when swiping the card when staying in this hotel. In addition, the destination fee of 30 US dollars per night is a big mistake, and it was slashed by foreigners.

I booked breakfast for 4 people in this hotel. But in the end, the credit card was charged for breakfast for four people. A total of almost 900 RMB. Then I called the hotel to complain and was transferred to the finance depar**ent. I called 6 times but no one answered the phone. It felt really bad. Do not recommend everyone to go to this hotel.

The hotel is overall good, moderate in size, convenient and clean, and the customer service is courteous. However, there are many free gifts in the passport after check-in. The customer service did not introduce any reminders. If I had not read the hotel's passport, I would have missed redeeming the cable car tickets and A water bottle was given. But overall I'm still very satisfied

Due to the epidemic, hotels and restaurants are closed, which is strange to say, but profitable bars are open. The hotel is very comfortable overall, the rooms are large, the location is also convenient, the public places are very spacious and modern, it is highly recommended

Overall it was a great stay. Wonderful well appointed room, comfy beds, nice bath. Breakfast was very good, if somewhat pricy. Only compliant is that the check in guy seemed in a hurry even though we were the only ones at the desk. Felt we were being rushed.

The hotel only offers valet parking which they said was $90 plus tax. There was also a $30 destination fee charged. Area was fine, somewhat safe but also still have to remain on guard. The room itself was nice, but not necessarily worth $200 a night.

We were told we had a 30 dollar credit each day and so we used it at the bar and brunch. However, upon receiving the bill we found that there was a 25 dollar fee per time call e a “transient” fee. Place was clean and staff was nice but the shady transactions like this make it a hotel I will not go back to or recommend to others.

Room clean and spacious. Staff friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everything.

Beautiful,cool place. Nicely decorated but the parking is crazy at 80.00 per night. I know it’s downtown San Francisco but that’s crazy. I would definitely stay again just because the hotel decor was awesome!

Hotel room was quite spacious for being in SF. Everything was up to date and cozy and comfortable. Would stay there again

What a lovely SF hotel in a great location! The destination fee includes several perks including a generous pour of wine in the evening and a $25 food/ beverage credit which paid for lattes and pastries in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The patio and all common areas are colorful and relaxing. The only drawback is the expensive valet parking which took 15+ minutes to get car handed off and 35+ minutes to get it back at departure. It was busy (NYE) but it was a negative for the hotel. The Clancy is walking distance to the Ferry market, the trains running on Embarcadero and the beautiful Salesforce rooftop park.

At check in i was changed double the deposit because the desk clerk couldnt understand how to check lf it wents through. Luckily my card didnt allow a third time to be processed but she definitely tried.

Really like the decor and the options to eat in the area. The fire pits were amazing!! Great Job Thank you!!
