Excellent hotel with all the amenities for a great ski break (and also a summer one too). Rooms are well appointed, very clean. Food was great and the evening menu changed every day. The breakfast section was excellent. The pool and spa facilities are also great (we didn't use the spa during our stay). The rooftop heated pool and whirlpool are a highlight in the snow! Our family would most certainly stay at the Fliana again

Once again, Fliana delivered. 6th time at Fliana. Warm recommendation for anyone. The staff was once again so friendly and went the extra mile in everything. The food also, 5/5. Close to the ski lift. Works for both family and friends trips. Will be visiting again!

Hotel Fliana was the most dog friendly hotel I have ever been to. Not only were the rooms exceptional, the little details were really special. The dogs had their own dogbed, bowls and they have included a little treat for them upon arrival. The system with the tablet was incredibly helpful to get additional information about where to hike and great recommendations. The food was also really good. Each night there was a new menu and it was hard not to overeat. It felt like a full package. Could not imagine something missing. The owners were around frequently which gave it a personal feel of the place as well. Would definately recommend!

First time in Ischgl and first stay at this hotel. A family of four , two rooms , half board. Great location , bang in the middle of two major lifts. Smart modern hotel. Spa and swim facilities including roof pool , fab. Breakfast great. Negatives , a few, including paying 7.5euros a bottle of tap water at dinner. In fact the dinner service was what let the hotel down. It is trying to hard and the quality was not the best. However overall , great location , good hotel and a fab week in ischgl

We had a lovely stay with our daughter at Hotel Fliana. Christiane was super kind and really looked after us including serving us delicious flat white coffees. Kata and the other staff in the restaurant were really nice and friendly too. We were a stone’s throw from the Fimba lift and not much further from the cable car which was fantastic for us and meant we had superb long days skiing but could easily pop down to change skis if we wanted to. Brundl ski shop was a few minutes walk and were brilliant especially Felix and Allan, we all had amazing superior skis and our daughter was the first to wear the brand new rental boots. Our room had a view of the red piste which we skied down at the end of each day. Our room was compact for three but was very nicely presented. The bathroom/separate loo set up with glass doors meant a little bit of notice for the shy amongst us! We enjoyed our omelettes, fruit and pastries for breakfast and the evening meals were tasty with a lot of food. Highlights included the potato and truffle soup with ravioli in the gala dinner which was lovely and the lamb and chicken were delicious. There was always plenty of fruit and salad at meal times to help yourself to. The afternoon food was fruit, olives, salami and crackers with some biscuits which filled the gap before dinner. The facilities included an outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi which we enjoyed at around 6-6.30 when it was fairly quiet and my daughter and I then visited the indoor pool and sauna before dinner. For a family looking for a sporty but relaxing holiday with no cooking and cleaning and no bus rides to slopes this was the perfect holiday! We’d come back again for sure! Thank you Christiane, Kata and team xxx

Overall quite a disappointing stay for us as a family - we read all the positive TripAdvisor comments and saw the nice photos on the webpage - in particularly on the food - but reality was not as good unfortunately. Clearly positive is the location very close to Ski slope / lifts and also some of the staff were pretty friendly in the restaurant. And here it ends already. First, we had a family suite on the 3rd floor where we practically looked 5 meters against another wall from the new part of the Hotel - dark room and quite depressing. Rooms were ok, but not high end quality and especially the bedding was pretty basic and you expect higher quality for pillows and duvets (100% synthetic). We completely missed to check if there is a Gym (we would have expected it in such Hotel), but there was none. We sent an email before we arrived and got quite an arrogant reply. Anyway. The most important and of course disappointing items was the food which made us leave earlier than planned and had even outside dinner. I don't really know where the Chef got such rating and I also don't know where the (Gourmet) Fotos came from on the webpage. What we got for dinner was a disaster - sorry to say so, but either the famous chef was on holidays or someone wanted to fool us. It was not one dish, it was across the board. Cheese selection was limited, looked like it was there already for hours, salad was mega basic and not home made (for instance coleslaw or potatoe salad), bread was old and dry and the fish was smelly that I was hoping to wake up the next day without any issues (luckily I was fine) . It was all tasteless, poor quality and not even close to be nice. We basically all kind of left it, but nobody was wondering or even asking if something wasn't good. I can go on, but I stop here. Breakfast was similar - egg stations were supper oily and all looked not fresh (cheese again). Positive was the fresh fruits and the orange juice from the machine. Ca. 1 hour before breakfast was closing, there was hardly bread left - I asked, but they said it was all gone, but she can heat up older bread for me which takes 15 mins. Excuse me ? The so called afternoon snack (quite normal in Ski-Hotels) was a joke too. 2 cheese (old, of course), cookies and some other smaller industrial produced food. Super little selection and not at all what you expect from such Hotel. To keep it short, we left the Hotel earlier than planned and when I checked out I mentioned that we were quite disappointed, but the receptionist didn't even try to ask what happend or was interested in feedback. All in all a waste of money (800 EUR per night) - any questions ?

This was the best experience I have ever had in a hotel. It was beautiful, the food was excellent and the staff were the warmest, most friendly and most welcoming I have ever encountered. It was an extraordinary experience - 100/100

We are staying for 2 weeks in Ischgl and have stayed in this resort a few times but in a different hotel. Our family has flown out today to spend the second week with us and enjoy some time together. I am really writing this review in defence of the hotel having read some of the reviews about the ‘rude’ staff, failing to book other restaurants in the resort and ‘poor’ food. I used to work for the UK’s largest hospitality brand and know how hard it is to get everything right all the time. I also know some people are never happy. The staff are excellent. They speak good English and whilst I can name check Tom and Jessica, the other people in the bar reception and restaurant are all equally brilliant. There is a lift up from the ground floor - it’s at garage level so you don’t have to carry your luggage up the very small flight of stairs. There is also Jakob (I hope that is how you spell his name) who helps with luggage should you need it. The rooftop pool is great fun and yes some children do get excited but then so would I if I was 5 years old so shall we all try to share the space and the experience and be kind……. I don’t recall seeing the rooftop pool being able to be for just one person anywhere advertised 🙄 The food is good - variety, interesting, well served and the wine list is spectacular. Finally if you want the Four Seasons, go to the Four Seasons. If you want great ski-ing in a great resort, a well behaved and staffed hotel, the Fliana is your place. Oh and by the way, this is a boutique hotel (think Mr and Mrs Smith style) so the space of the dining room is fine. Jane - Fliana Fan ❤️

Hotel location is very good, close to the main street and very close to the main gondola to start the ski day. It is not a ski in ski out and the ski room is one floor below street level with no lift but walk only. There is no in room coffee or tea, the reception wont always answer for a call from the room, you will need to wait long time during breakfast to get omelet as there is one person with one pan preparing it for all guests.
