Hotels near Sky Costanera in Santiago

I stayed here for a couple nights and the hotel is in very good shape, everything still smells new. The location isn't really good, there's literally nothing around, you will need an Uber to go anywhere. Never take a taxi in Chile!!! They will totally rip you off. Front desk people isn't friendly or welcoming at all but I think that's everywhere in Chile.

Friendly helpful staff. Lovely comfortable beds with more luxurious linen than usual. Hot showers. 3 elevators so never any waiting for one. Large continental breakfast (no hot food). Located on street with lots of restaurants. Bank 2 blocks away. Perhaps has soundproofing since there was no noise through the night.

The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. We stayed in this hotel for two nights while visiting Santiago de Chile, and my experience was pretty good. Check-in process was smooth with no complaints other than the lack of staff to escort the luggage. We got a room in the middle of the building and the room was spacious and comfortable with working heater plus air conditioner for warning up from the chilly Santiago weather. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the breakfast due to the constraints of our tour but overall we had a very nice stay and would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good accomodation in the centre of Santiago.

Needed an overnight before our cruise. Since they had an airport shuttle and decent prices we booked a room. First the shuttle service has an interesting pickup point at one of the parking areas. We had to evade the taxi people and go up two escalators to a walkway. Not bad if you follow the instructions they emailed. The waiting area is a bit wide and it would be easy to miss the pickup but I called and was picked up in about 20 minutes after the 12 reservation we made. We will not go into the ride over the the hotel, it was, well exciting might be an ok word. As for the hotel, desk staff was professional, helpful and got us into a room quickly. The hotel was being used for other cruise passengers and workers but they did take care of us quickly. The restaurant was good but not great. I think there were too many people early and they were not ready for the numbers so several tables seated after us were leaving before we even got bread. The hotel was clean and rooms were very nice so I would use it again but reconsider places to dine.

Excellent service, friendly, careful. Every time I feel welcome and like at home. The cleaning very good , I think it is perfect. Shops very close, Mall Open Kennedy 5 minutes walk, Mall Park Araucano 7 minutes and the Park Araucano. I'm going with my dog and always have a shirt and a dishes. This is a very complete service. I'd always come back.

This is a fine chain hotel located 5-10 min drive away from SCL airport. The building is relatively new (built ~5 years ago) and there is nothing to see/do at walking distance. The hotel provides shuttle service to/from SCL once per hour, even at 2 am. The bedroom and bathroom were rather large but the wifi didn't work. There was also a rather loud noise of ”flowing water” (from an adjacent room?) all night. My main complaint is that it is impossible to communicate with the hotel before booking. I tried via an email adress I received from the Wyndham headquarters, facebook, twitter and via booking.com and they never replied. Once you book you receive a confirmation with 2 email adresses and one phone number. One of the email addresses doesn't event exist (my email was rejected) ... and they barely reply from the other one. Shuttle schedule was only given at the last minute... this is unprofessional.

This was not our usual pick for Santiago but we had meetings nearby and took a chance. The suburb that Almasur resides in is a quirky and friendly neighbourhood with a charming plaza of restaurants, cafes and bars. There are a few private schools and colleges, the Main Street is cobbled and lined with Plane trees so it has an atmosphere rather like Paris!The hotel is brand new and perfect for business with large rooms. The cafe bar down stairs is great for working and meeting. I will be staying here again.
