We are so happy with had the opportunity to meet our Hostess Arestides he was above and beyond exceptional. He was helpful and he was able to get our transportation to the airport the correct time. Also, any restaurant reservation he was able to take care that for us and suggested great restaurant by the area by calling the restaurant I making sure we get a table with a nice view. He was very nice explaining everything to us when we arrive to the hotel and show us all the highlights of the island the best beaches and places to go. We felt safe and happy everything we will go to the front desk, and he was there to assist us. I can't thank you enough for all you time and hospitality. we are so happy we stayed there. The staff were so friendly, the rooms were immaculate. It was so peaceful and safe. I loved our pool right outside of our room 101, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is not too far from the center to Fira by walk about 7 minutes. Thank you again Arestides and the entire Staff.

We stayed at Nissos for a week as a group of 13 (+ baby) for a friends wedding and the hotel was perfect for us! The staff were all absolutely lovely, so relaxed and incredibly accommodating. The location is smack bang in the middle of Thira as well as being minutes from the bus station to explore the rest of the island. Couldn’t recommend staying here more- definitely request the room with the mega terrace overlooking the pool- iconic. Thanks again to all the staff you made our week wonderful!

Stayed at this hotel for three nights and was very satisfied. The biggest advantage is the location is good, very close to the center of Ferra Town, but in a small alley, very quiet. Also on the cliff height, the door and window of the room facing the Aegean Sea and the volcanic island, the scenery is very beautiful. (Two photos of the view from the balcony and the window). The hotel is small, only four suites in total, no noisy people from the hotel, and the service is very good. The most beautiful enjoyment of this hotel is breakfast on the small balcony outside the room in the morning, and the breakfast choice is also very rich. Each suite comes with a separate hot, open air whirlpool that other guests may find better to lie in and enjoy, but we're afraid of the sun, so it's not much use. The only downside is that there is no door to the shower in the room and the floor of the bathroom is wet after each shower.

Breakfast is very rich, I can't eat breakfast abroad, but there are many things. The hotel has a lot of swimming pools. The only thing I can't stand is that the water in the room is a bit salty. It may be because of the island's reason. Go out. There are supermarkets in a few minutes, what is super cheap to buy water, outside 1 euro, 2 euros, supermarkets as long as a few points, then a few minutes is a lot of shops in the business district, as well as the bus terminal, take a bus terminal is the black sand beach, Very convenient, it seems that there are still 3 Euros per person, but I forgot it, it is very cheap, I can also take the bus to Oia Town. In short, it is very convenient. Moreover, the view from the entrance of the hotel is very good. From the hotel, you can walk to the Blue Top Church for up to 20 minutes along the main road.

Very well located in Fira. We had a room for 3 with single beds and it was just perfect; comfortable, clean. Minifridge, tea/coffee facilities available in the room. Tea, coffee also available in the lounge. Nektaros and all the team are so courteous and helpful. Reception open 24 hrs and they are always eager to assist with any query you might have. They also arrange for tours and tickets as well as airport/harbour transfer at an extra cost. 100% recommend Antonia for your holiday in Santorini.

I booked this hotel solely based on the excellent reviews but I was debating about the location as it is not in the tourist spots. This hotel deserves all the excellent reviews! The manager, Maggy, as well as all the staff, is very nice and helpful. They really care about the guests and make every effort to make the guests comfortable. Maggy arranged all the transportation, including to the airport and to catch the tours, and local restaurants. When we went out for a hiking and got tired, I just sent her a message and she arranged a car to pick us up! Top notch services by the Nano Suites team. As for the location, it is so tranquil and beautiful that we even hate to leave the hotel. Try to enjoy a breakfast, a drink and sunrise view from the patio. You won’t regret booking this hotel - highly recommended!

Staff at ambience suites were responsive and pleasant. Breakfast was provided and it was a decent spread. However, location was ~20mins walk from Fira main bus station (it says 10mins on gmaps but its uphill + we were carrying our luggages) so it was slightly inconvenient. Slightly noisy at night as well and the room does not use blackout curtains so the sun shines into the room at 6+ in the morning.

Wow what an absolutely gem. Where do I start? There’s so many positive things to say I don’t know where to start. My husband booked this hotel at the last minute a couple days before departure. The hotel organised our pick up from the airport which was a stunning brand new Mercedes luxury mini bus which had enough glitz and and glam to satisfy the Kardashian’s! Once arriving at the hotel, the reception staff made us feel very welcomed with lots of information about the hotel and local area. To our surprise the hotel run a free service to and from Fira which is an added bonus as we knew we were a 30 minute walk away. Then we were taken to our room by a lovely man who carried out super heavy luggage down the steps to our room. Wow, the view was amazing. The room was spacious clean and fresh with a lovely bed bigger than two doubles pushed together. The bathroom had a rainfall shower with a handset built into an alcove which maybe tricky if your over 5’7! But don’t let that put you off, the views from every angle of the hotel more than make up for it. Breakfast was included which was simple but to a high standard nothing pre packed all fresh. The waiters were fantastic full of energy and knowledgeable. We booked our first evening meal at the hotel and the quality was amazing everything was done to a high standard. The only disappointment was we simply didn’t book longer. If your thinking of booking please do you won’t be disappointed. We stayed at the Blue Dolphin last month and I'm not sure we stayed at the same hotel as described by previous contributors. While the hotel is comfortable and the staff are pleasant and helpful (a special shout out to Niki who was very very kind and offered much helpful advice and assistance) there are a couple of negatives. First and foremost, the hotel can only be accessed (at least when we were there) via very steep steps, so anyone with any disability or those who have mobility issues will likely have much difficulty navigating the steep descent to the hotel, even more so when having to climb up the incline when leaving the hotel. Another difficulty is the center of town is quite a walk from the hotel given a steep walk - great walking into town downhill, but rather a strenuous walk uphill - especially on the cobbled streets/pavements. Certainly no need to book time at the gym if you stay here! Another minor point: breakfast is included and it was kindly delivered to our room each morning; though it was fairly basic and was exactly the same each morning. While thankful for the meal, it would have been a nice touch to have changed the ingredients every now and again. Also, I'm not sure if it was due to the off-season or construction, but there was no bar, restaurant, lounge area etc. at the hotel during our stay. Also, during the time of our stay there was ongoing construction in very close proximity to the hotel, literally just feet away from our room, which meant many loud workers and machinery starting work around 7.30am. While I understand the need to do this work in the off-season, it would have been nice for the hotel to have given us notice of the disruption at the time of booking. And, given that donkeys were used to transport heavy material to and from the site, helpful to have given warning to take much care traversing the steep steps that were littered with donkey poop. While our stay was enjoyable and the staff pleasant and helpful, I'm afraid I will look for alternative accommodation when next we return to Santorini.
