Super nice onsen hotel!!! Overall a very relaxing place which has nice rooms and serves very good dinner and breakfast. Definitely coming back again

Highly recommended for onsen resort just at the backyard of Sapporo. Lovely place, great facilities at the hotel lobby, various onsens and in rooms despite the hotel’s age. Convenient transport options provided on/through hotel website - free shuttle from Sapporo station, taxi service booking e.g. to airport, though the taxi booking is fully in Japanese. Massage booking available too, though my experience was just passable. Kaiseiki dinner and buffet breakfast inclusive - contact hotel in advance if you have dietary requirements (e.g. meat for shabu shabu is beef). Only wished they wouldn’t turn down the air conditioning in the lobby during the supposed lull between check-out and check-in. Mine was 2D1N but would recommend 3D2N for a more relaxing stay.

Convenient location. Received a very good welcome from the receptionist and restaurant staff. Warm. Tourist attractions close to the hotel. The atmosphere is very good. If there is a chance, will definitely come back and stay here again

the hotel is in a nice location, a bit outdated, but maintain the good shape the kaiseki food, for me it is very good visually, but the taste is something else. all the facilities in the hotel is great but for a big guy (6feet 5) like me, everything is too small

Had a very good stay at HanaMomiji hotel. Stayed the traditional Japanese room with dinner and breakfast. The Japanese Dinner is very good, food were fresh and well prepared, worth the additional paid. Room is big with separate bathroom, toilet and make-up area. Futon was comfortable. The futons were prepared for us upon our return from dinner. The onsen is good, with massage chairs for your use after your bath. There's an Autumn light display at the park nearby during our stay. Highly recommended for a taste of Japanese Onsen hotel and their warm service.

Service and food are good.

The service staff is excellent, the onsen is good, the rooms are clean, there is a toilet separated from the shower room, the food is delicious.

If you are traveling to a hot spring, you must go there. The schedule was a bit tight, so I couldn't go around, but if you like a healing hot spring bath and fresh seafood for dinner, it was refreshing to see the different scenery during the day and night.

There is a private shuttle service from the train station to the hotel. The hot spring on the 12th floor is good and has massage chairs. Hot springs are available for public and private rental. Service was average, dinner had a lot of different food but average quality.

The staff are very friendly and the facilities are old but clean. It's convenient to have a market on the first floor, and I really took advantage of the free drinks!!

Surrounding facilities: There is a hot spring park that you will pass by on the way. The Kappa Liner's drop-off point is directly opposite the hotel, and the bus pick-up point back to Sapporo is right in front of the specialty shop in front of the hotel. There are FamilyMart and Lawson nearby within a 5-10 minute walk. The walking time depends on whether you are playing in the snow while walking. Hotel service: The staff are very polite. If there is any problem, they will immediately follow you to the room to help check. I will help make the bed before going to bed at night. Private hot springs: Southerners still can't accept the requirement of public hot springs, so I only made an appoin**ent at the private hot springs on the 12th floor based on the sunset time. I thought the environment was good. After the hot soak, you can get your own ice water and iced oolong tea to drink. There is also a hair dryer and makeup remover. If you need to go to the toilet, you have to go to the public hot spring area to have a toilet. Meal: Dinner was sukiyaki, which I personally am not used to eating, but my friends who were traveling with me ate it all. Breakfast is a Japanese buffet, and I even tried natto, which I'm not good at. Overall it's highly recommended.

It's perfect except it's a little cold inside. The hot spring in the hotel is really comfortable. The skin care and toiletries are very comprehensive. The breakfast and dinner are exquisite and rich. I really like it. The front desk on the first floor is very patient and helps to book the bus location.

I wrote in the special request that I needed hotel pick-up, but no one followed up. I had to contact the hotel by email, but the hotel shuttle bus was full! I had to take a bus to Jozankei from Sapporo Station, which took more than an hour. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large, and someone makes the beds at dusk. The hot spring on the 12th floor is open until 12 o'clock in the evening, and the hot spring on the second floor is open at 10:30 pm for women and tomorrow morning for men. You can also go to the hot spring of the sister hotel "Shikanoyu". It's a pity that I only went to the hot spring on the 12th floor this time and didn't have time to go to other places. The crab feast "tide" for dinner is very rich. Although it is more expensive than other dinners, it is worth it. The breakfast buffet was surprisingly delicious. Every food was delicious, including my favorite halibut steak. The corn soup, potatoes, and pumpkin were all delicious. There is a snack corner on the first floor where you can listen to music, drink wine and juice, and eat brownies and cookies, which is very relaxing. I am very satisfied with this hot spring hotel and will go there again next time.

This is a return visit after my last visit. There is a free shuttle bus, and the ryokan also has hot spring table tennis and a cafe, which is nice. (The free shuttle bus must be reserved separately) The staff are generally friendly and some can speak Korean! It was fun to take pictures and chat with me during the meal. During check-in time, hot spring manju will be heated in the lobby, so be sure to eat it. It's available in the room, but it tastes best when eaten warm. The unfortunate thing is that no matter how many heavy luggage you carry, the staff does not help you first. In other hotels, they deliver it directly to you upon check-in, but there is nothing like that here. And one of the kaiseki guides, a woman, stood out because she had a somewhat business-like attitude. Anyone else might have felt it was unfriendly.
