Four Points by Sheraton Chicago O'Hare

Schiller Park|0.98km from city centre
I have stayed at Four Points on multiple occasions over the last few years before my most recent stay there this past weekend, hence why I booked here for my partner’s and mine’s little weekend getaway to the city. I also booked here knowing they offered gated/secure parking for those not using vehicles on during their stay (I.e. “the park and fly”) When booking I had questioned whether we could park our vehicle on site in the secure area knowing that our time of arrival was going to be far prior to check in time. I got the okay to my parking question when speaking to the front desk, so we booked! Upon arrival, I had to ask the front desk twice for the gate code to the secure parking as our first encounter they only gave us our parking pass but did not include the parking code. We dodged pot holes throughout the general parking area as well as the secure parking area which was less than ideal. Ultimately though we were able to park our vehicle, order our Uber and get to our destination on time. Fast forward a few hours I was able to check into our room on the app, which was nice given we were 45 minutes - an hour away from the hotel for the day. We finally arrived to our room later that evening and we’re able to get our rooms keys and get our things from our vehicle to bring up to the room. Upon re-entering the building from the secure parking area, we both swiped our room keys on the building door to enter to no avail. Prior to turning around and almost walking through the vehicle gate drive through and around the building to the front door, my partner pulled on the building door and came to the realization the door was never locked (big yikes!) so anyone hotel guest or not if able to get into the parking area had unlimited access to the interior of the hotel. That in itself made use feel uneasy. We used the room for solely sleeping in a bed and getting ready/showering for the next day of our trip. We arrived on a Friday and stayed through Monday morning (3 night stay in total). Each and every morning when I woke up, I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why I waking up completely congested and itchy face, eyes, throat, etc. Sunday morning I made a very uncomfortable discovery…. Our entire hotel room was LITTERED with mold growing out of any crevice in the room. The bathroom door frame was completed surrounded by mold growth (see photos) and we found evidence of peeling wallpaper near the patio door with mold growing up the wall where the door/window meets the wall. The only thing I’m allergic to is mold so it all started to add up in why I was feeling so miserable every morning after sleeping here night after night during our stay. In addition to looking for more evidence of this untimely discovery we came across uncovered wires, loose and/or broken outlets in our room (adding to a few more safety hazards of our stay). While the front desk personnel did document my concerns upon checkout, I do not recommend anyone to stay with Four Point

Stay Away I went to Chicago for the first time on Fri September 23 2020 to attend a friend’s wedding. I Staying at the Bridgeview, Motel 6 because I stayed here cause close to Friends House. I read negative reviews about this location prior to booking, however based on prior experience with motels in america. decided to book. I made a big mistake this is not a very good motel. I wish I would have listened to bad reviews and not go to this location. I reserved a non smoking room because of issues that I have with allergies and the smell of smoke in general. When I checked into my room at around 10:30, I walked in a room that clearly smelled like smoke of cigarettes and ****, there was burned cigarette marks all over the bed spread, the pillows on the bed were not clean and one had what appear to be blood stains. I immediately went to the front desk to inform them about the state of the room. I was told by the receptionist that there are no other rooms available, instead of changing the sheets they gave me a sheet to take back to the room that didn’t look much cleaner than what was already on the bed. Then I found BED BUGS At 11 at night there were two other guests in line with similar complaints. I didn’t have a choice but to sit in the room all night because I refused to lay in the bed and didn’t have an option to go elsewhere that late a night with my lack of familiarity with the area. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone

This eclectic and contemporary Hilton model will appeal to the trend driven traveler. The entrance and lobby level which includes the bar and restaurant is spacious and bright in spite of the absolute zero commercial settings very close to O'Hare airport. The black-and-white graphics and similarly painted models are bizarre. Curious, having relatively nothing to do with the bordello-like elevator lobby areas. Consider it all Art. A QR code restaurant menu has a good selection again, contemporary food with a city vibe not particularly iconic Chicago. Our deluxe king room was large and spacious, the bathroom especially, walk-in shower, plenty of hot water and pressure. Welcome design feature is the window blind system. An aluminum frame captures shades completely, blocking out all light. The deep double pane window masks all sounds, don't hit your head when you're looking out the window on the inner glass. We travel with night lights, put them in the bathrooms in virtually every hotel we visit. If you get up in the night you'll want that, it's extremely dark in the room. USB ports are in good places, this is becoming the norm especially in global travel. people won't be needing different adapters and chargers for much longer. The desk desperately needs a task lamp of some type, the toilet paper roll is strangely way too far from the toilet, don't see how that helps. A person with a mobility device would also have trouble reaching it. We took Uber from the international terminal only to discover the easily identifiable Rose hotel's shuttle sitting right there, running every half hour 24 hours a day back to ORD. That's a bonus. Overall a far better value stay the night savvy distressed beat up over priced Hilton in-terminal option at ORD

O'Hare Inn & Suites

The hotel is more than 10 minutes drive from the airport. You can call the hotel to pick up at the airport and wait for 10 minutes. You can also book a car at the airport. The hotel facilities are old, the washbasin is very small, and the bath will be there. The so-called breakfast is only brewed with 2 kinds of cereals and coffee. It is enough to ride the plane for one night. If you travel or stay in a convenient metro area, the price is higher.

Good service for free shuttle bus from the Chicago O’Hare International Airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good to stay one night before transfer to the other city.
Sonesta Simply Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport

Free parking, shuttle bus to the airport, we drove by ourselves, the hotel is very clean, you can cook, so there will be food in the corridor, the price is relatively high, there is a gym and laundry room, all free. Suitable for elderly and children.
Quality Inn O'Hare Airport

Good value for money, customer service attitude is very good! There is airport transfer service, which is very convenient. Arrive at night, let us wait in the E5 area. As a result, I was sent to the U.S. by the airport and departed for E5! The driver found us again. Praise! It's not easy for drivers at night, and a $5 tip encourages you. Shopping within 500m around is inconvenient! Overall, it's ok!
Schiller Park, IL - Chicago O'Hare
