"We had an amazing 2 night stay at Nirup. 100% recommended resort! Yes, you'll have a rough ferry ride with lacking AC from Batam and there is not much to explore on the small island except a small beach and a few pretty stairs leading down from the hotel through a bit of jungle. However, the staff was extremely welcoming and friendly, the room is well designed, spacious and offers a wonderful view to surrounding islands, towards Singapore skyline as well as towards Batam. You can enjoy the sunrise from the beautiful breakfast area and the sunset from the pool and bar area. The in-house kitchen is fantastic, Pizza, Nasi Goreng, Salmon Rilettes were some of our highlights. The gym is among the best I've seen in any hotel (and I've been to a few). Right now there is still construction going on, so be prepared to hear some noise during the day. However because a direct line from Singapore is not currently available, you have a chance to enjoy a very private stay at this luxury resort. A big shout-out to the friendly staff and great chef(s)."

"Everytime i go Batam for long weekend I always stay at KTM resort. Its my 3rd time here. Its very near to Singapore. I love the vibe here. The staffs are friendly and the service is great."

"There is a Harris free shuttle from Sekupang ferry terminal to hotel. The staff are all polite, friendly and smiling. Our room Is Harris Seaview, its on the first level, so its easy acces to go in and out of the room. We had breakfast for two days, and the food they serving is just ok, im ok with it because i dont eat much for breakfast, just egg n toast is fine with me. For dinner, we have to order ala carte. Waiting time for food if you order ala carte take some time. It happened for both two nights we order dinner. But over all evrything is nice. The staff at the bar are nice, and the staff at the buffet as well. My daughter enjoyed the pool so much."

"Love the pool. The hotel provided daily free shuttle service once a day at 11am to the Grand Batam Mall. The return transfer is at 3pm. We had a complimentary upgrade to a one bedroom villa. Beautiful room with a view of the pool. We stayed in to use the facilities - gym, indoor pool, table tennis, bicycles, there is a Games Room (billiard, table soccer, basketball hoops, darts - all of which are free!). Breakfast menu changes everyday. Good variety. Would definitely love to come back. Next time for a longer stay."

"Staff is really friendly, good and really helpful. Guys, you really need new pillows and new shower heads. You need to find a way to introduce some sort of ventilation in the room. Overall, my stay was pleasant."

"The hotel is located in a remote industrial area and belongs to a remote rural area. The hotel does not have any special facilities for swimming pools. The breakfast is only like eggs, bread, fried rice, fried noodles, etc. There is a mosque opposite, and the prayers will be heard every morning from 4 to 5 pm. No need to adjust the alarm clock to get up at 4 o'clock in the morning. 😃"
