Hotels Near Jungnim-dong Yakhyeon Catholic Church in Seoul

I think I accidentally stumbled upon RANG thinking it was a cool hotel with PC’s but it may or may not be a love hotel because all I saw were couples lol. Walking distance from Seoul station but a bit hard to hail a cab. Our front desk receptionist was very nice and got a taxi for us so I’ll forever be grateful!

Hotel insisted that I must get a separate room for my 2 young children, as the max no. of people allowed for this room is 4A + 1C. Though we’re a family of 7 (5 children under 17), the hotel refused to accept that we can’t let our young children stay in a separate room on their own.

The water heater was out of order so no hot water for shower. No notification from the hotel and the attitude of the front desk was not helpful and somehow rude. The hygiene is fine but a few things are broken: - the hair dryer’s joint is loosen so it’s front part keeps dropping - the show holder is loosen so it is always at a lower location Bed is nice.

Experience Service Facilities We can leave our luggage at the lobby since we arrive early before the check-in time. The check-in process is very smooth, provided with the booking confirmation and passport verification. The location is very strategic and accessible to many POIs. They change the towels, replenish the toiletries, make up the bed, clean up the trash bin, and provide the free 2 drinking water bottles every day. The conditions in the room are good, and the lighting and temperatures are satisfactory. Since we checked out very early, we can just leave the room card keys at the front office counter at the lobby floor.

Smooth check-in and out. Room was clean and just enough for a solo traveller with small luggage. I stayed on the ground floor and could hear everything but it was quiet at night. I really missed a fridge and electric kettle as I stayed here for 4 nights! The couple was nice and friendly. I would stay here again.

The room is good for me as I m one person. Space is small, but good location near subway and train stations. Great coffee and there is common washing machine for use. Free internet. Good A/C. Recommend for short stay and easy access to most of shopping districts.

Check in late at midnight, due to wet weather. The map showed that the hotel is nearby seoul station. But i spent a long time trying to locate exit13. In the end i decided to follow the online map, and brave the rain and took the street route from main entrance of seoul station( lotte mart side) The hotel is a indeed nearby. It's just along the main road, (and yes, i conquered the flight of stairs down towards the main road however I think there is a escalotor to avoid the stairs. Just need to explore a bit. ) The hotel is on the 3rd floor. And yes, have to climb the stairs. Because of midnight check in, don't panick. there is very clear instructions on the door, on how to enter the hotel. On the reception table, the hotel prepared a warm note with my name on it and the room key card. So glad to feel welcomed by the seamless self check in. Then room is decent in size. Big enough to open up a big size luggage. Toilet big and clean. Windows proper and big too. Windows provide a less enclosed feeling which is definitely helpful to a solo traveler. There is a pantry area welcome to use. Towels can diy exchange too. Nice clean accommodation at a lower price in seoul station area. Food and plenty coffee option downstairs. Hotel building is on flat ground instead of on a slope. Definitely highly recommended if don't mind the stairs to level3.

I had a great stay at Seoadaemun Thema, it’s about 5 minute walk to Seodaemun station. The room is quite small, yet it’s clean organized and toiletries are provided from the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, lotion, hair gel, men’s facial lotion. Even phone charger are provided in each room(3 different types), mini fridge with 2 free dinks, mini hot cold water dispenser. There is also a mini table for 2 and a bed warmer especially for the cold season. For me, everything was perfect.

Reno a bit old but still decent. Good location next to Seoul Station but need to take trains to other attractions as not much shopping or F&B nearby. 10min to walk to train line 1 and 4 (dark & light blue lines); 20min walk lugging luggages to AREX train station to airport via Underground walk path which is convenient but only available 6am-10pm. Room size a bit tight with 2 double beds so cannot lay out 2 luggages properly. Bathroom vanity top very short no space to put skincare and make up etc.

Thank you for this trip. It was a good trip. I was debating whether to stay at a capsule hotel in Myeongdong for the same price, but I'm glad I chose this one. Location: About 20 minutes by train or bus from Seoul Station. I was grateful that I could walk 5 minutes to the bus even though I was carrying about 25kg of luggage. There was a women's university and a stylish Starbucks nearby, so it was safe and easy to live in. The city of Ewha Womans University itself is quiet, but if you walk to Shinchon, you will find a shopping street that is popular with young people and has an atmosphere that never sleeps. It is also close to Hongdae, about 15 minutes. It may be a little far from Dongdaemun, Seongsu, and Gangnam... Check-in and check-out: The owner was kind, but I had some problems. I first communicated by email. Until I arrived at the front desk of the apartment, I was told to talk to him on Line or KakaoTalk, but due to the inconvenience of my mobile phone, I couldn't register the owner on either... I couldn't register LINE or other accounts, so I couldn't check in at the front desk either. However, the only way to contact me was by email, asking ”How do I get into the room?” The owner came 10-15 minutes later and gave me the key. I asked how to check out by email, but they didn't tell me, so I just left the key in the room and left the room. ”I'm sorry I didn't notice,” he said, apologizing later. <Room and Facilities> As you can see in the photo, there is WiFi (connection is good), and the noise from next door is not at all bothersome. The size of the room is enough for one person, and you can just about open your suitcase. Facilities include a refrigerator/freezer, air conditioner (I didn't use it because there was no remote control and I didn't know how to use it, but the room temperature was just right), shower, toilet (of course there is no washlet because it's Korea), 3-4 face towels, hair dryer, and about 5 hangers. Amenities include a toothbrush and shower sponge.
