Huaxuan Hotel (Hongkou Soccer Stadium Subway Station)

Even though the staff didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak Chinese well enough 😅 we still understood each other well I think. The person at the reception helped me with my bags upstairs and I really appreciate that☺️ the room was nice and the bathroom too. The mattress of the bed is harder than the ones I’m used to, but it’s comfortable while laying on the back or on the stomach (not on the sides). Unfortunately the room had quite a strong cigarette smoke smell even though the hotel has "no smoking" signs. Even with the AC turned on or with the windows open, it was hard to get rid of the smell. It’s a bit annoying as a nonsmoking person but it was an overall ok experience 🙂
