Not sure why the receptionist felt he needed to knock on my door at 11:57. As I told him, check out is at 12. Knock at 12:01 if it's so time critical... Considering the extremely poor state of the rooms, with gutter smell coming from the sink, mold smell - making sleeping there like a prison sentence - I'd show a bit more tolerance.
