Smoking everywhere 🤢 Hotel rooms need renovations. Only two things are good - breakfast and spacious room

Wonderful hotel experience—spotless rooms, friendly staff, and a great location overall!

I really recommend this hotel to everyone. It’s clean and has a good location near huangpu river and lujiazui district.

Pros: Stayed 3 nights and had an overall good stay. Good value for money, spacious room, daily room service, staff is always available. The hotel is located in a good area, 18mins walking distance from metro Tangqiao. Cons: 1) Guests must know that although it’s forbidden to smoke, there’s always strong smoke smell in the corridor. Even though we booked a non smoking room, our room had always a strong smoke smell, so we had to sleep with the window open every night. This was coming from the corridor and from the bathroom ventilation conduct. 2) Guests from nearby rooms were disrespectful all three nights making noise, so we didn’t sleep well. 3) Staff doesn’t speak English but easy to communicate via translators.

The Hotel location is good. You can walk to the River, 1km. Rooms are not great... Overall I suggest take it if there is no other option nearby or as per required location.

A bit far from tourist spot but the price is cheap!!! Staff are friendly and comfortable stay

The hallway is super long so be prepared to haul your luggage for quite a while if your room is allll the way at the end. It is a very simple hotel but you would have all the basics you would need. The staff catered to our needs very well and there is a free laundry room to do your laundry.

The room is very comfortable to sleep, the hotel has breakfast, breakfast variety is very much, very good, is a pleasant trip.

Clean, cheap but far from Subway. However, it has the free laundry which is good when u stay long in Shanghai

I don’t think the location is good for tourism because as it is on the side of the Pearl, you will always have to take the ferry (2 RMB) to go to the touristic areas. The ferry is cheap, but it will take a long time to do thing by this way. And the metro station is also far from the hotel I think. But the breakfast was excellent !

Nice hotel. Clean and the room size is good. Bathroom is tiny but neat. Love how helpful everyone is. Also it's easily accessible to Transportation. Many places are around if you want to walk and explore. It's also not too far from clubs. Overall I'd book again if am low on funds.

I was very pleased with the level of service at Magnolia Hotel. The location was convenient and had plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The lobby service was quick and efficient and the security using a better than expected, and card entry was also to be commended. The room itself was spacious, with a large double bed, very clean on arrival and daily cleaning in the afternoon which replenished your water bottles, yea cups, tea packets, large and small towels, toothpaste and toilet roll. There was a good AC unit included and also a TV for entertainment. Free WIFI was inclusive and both check-in and check-out were efficient and generous (can check out until as late as 12pm midday). Highly recommended and will return next time in Shanghai as it was a great experience!

This hotel is very top-tier, especially for the price in this location of the town. The location is very central to the Pudong Airport, sights on the Pudong side and Nanjing Road is also not too far.😁 The service is very friendly! You can deliver packages to the hotel which will be stored behind the counter and deliveries of food will also be placed either in front of your door or the counter. 👍🏼 The rooms aren't very spacious, but that's just Shanghai. Overall however everything was very clean, the furniture new and the bathroom also very nice. I can only recommend this hotel to anyone. ☺️
