I booked this hotel because I was flying out of Pudong early and the location is amazing, within walking distance to T1 in around 5 minutes. The check in staff were very kind and helpful and the room although basic was everything I needed. The hotel is a little tricky to find however many people have left directions in their reviews and that helped. There is a food court , currency exchange ,Macdonalds and convenience store around 3 mins walk away.I slept pretty well and will definitely stay here again, for the price and location this place is Perfect!

The location is great, and I enjoyed the access to shopping and food outside the hotel. The lobby area and facilities upon entry are well laid out, so the aesthetic is quite pleasant in this area is quite pleasing. A pleasant and welcoming greeting by the staff at the front desk was a good start. The food was just okay; I ate it because I needed to eat something before travel, but the meal was a bit lacking. The overall presentation, food layout, server actions, and food options all need to be improved. Even the way the table is cleared after someone eats is not at all done well. A bit of training in food presentation and service would make a world of difference. The room I was assigned upon arrival looked clean but had an awfully stale body odor. I noticed that the window was left open, possibly for the same reason, but I requested a different room. This situation was promptly fixed, as I was given a different room, which I felt more comfortable in. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and hope that improvements will be made to make the experience a better one. Hallway carpets are beautiful but in dire need of vacuuming to uplift guest entry to the room. Again, excellent location, and with improvements, it will be an all-around excellent experience.

Check-in wasn’t a good experience, but the hotel was okay after that. When I first checked-in, the room key cards I was given didn’t work, which was frustrating as the room was one of the furthest from reception. This meant I had to go all the way back for new keys after a long day. I just wanted to relax! Then the second room I was given didn’t match the photos on Trip.com, in particular it didn’t have a real window, looking over the dining area rather than outside. But when finally settled into the third room, the stay was okay. It was supposedly an upgrade, but it only looked like the room I had booked. The location is the big plus: right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street which leads to the Bund, both iconic locations that are great to visit. I didn’t have the breakfast as there were no spare seats, so I went to a nearby McDonald’s instead. The hotel needs to enlarge its dining area.

We arrived the hotel early in the morning about 8am, very tired from our red eye flight and was allowed to check in immediately. The staff at the lobby and the housekeeper were very kind and generous. I really appreciate their hospitality! We booked a twin room and it was very spacious and very clean. The toilet is top notch because it has one of those fancy bidets haha. The hotel even provide free self service laundry! They provide all the detergent, softener and disinfectant in those little cute bottles. It is located on the 2nd floor and 24hours! Location is also great, just opposite the hotel there is a mall to eat, a convenience store Lawson and a pharmacy. If you take a didi to the bund or to cool areas like xintiandi, it’s only a few dollars and about 10 mins away. Will 100% stay here again! Thank you to all the staff at the lobby once again, they’ve been very kind and helpful whenever I needed assistance. 🫶🏽 the picture attached is a beautiful secret garden we chanced upon which is opposite the hotel too. 🍂🤎🦊

As soon as we arrived from our evening flight, the hotel front desk staff was very attentive and quickly prepared us for check-in and room rest. The room is warm and comfortable like home. What we love - its central location, cleanliness, a lot of food choices during breakfast buffet, heated pool. We just had some concerns during booking and check in, it was not indicated that our room has no windows but the reception just gave us this room without windows. Due to winter, temperature control cannot be changed so it tends to be very warm.

They have cold dishes like salad, hot food such as noodles and pan fried buns and local snacks such as fried rice cubes (?) Ci fan gao. I booked this hotel stay to celebrate my mums 65th birthday and the hotel staff are so sweet and organised a beautiful chocolate cake for us. Honestly, this hotel is fabulous and is worth your money!

The location is really strategic and worth for the money. Everything is easy access by walking. The hotel is great for business traveller and solo traveller. The cleanliness for the room is just average as the blankets and bed sheets are yellowish and you can obviously compare the colour of the pillow and to the bedsheets ( even I have 3 times housekeeping). Overall a disappointing experience for several reasons. I’m not one who usually writes negative reviews or makes lists of issues when I stay at hotels, but there were a few that were difficult to ignore: 1. I stayed on Christmas Eve because we were having the hotel’s brunch the next day. I thought I would have a nice, relaxing morning to wake up and get ready, but instead was awoken to construction work out in the hallway—drilling and hammering that were incredibly loud. Furthermore, the whole room was then filled with the STRONGEST, AWFUL smell of burning plastic that I had ever smelt. Because none of the windows in the room could open, I had to suffer through the smell and try to ready as quickly as possible…not a pleasant way to wake up! 2. The bathroom just wasn’t clean. There were urine and possible blood stains on the toilet seat and floor that I had to wipe away when I first arrived to the room. Cleaning services should do a better job to check the toilet surfaces when cleaning. 3. It’s December and the middle of a cold snap in Shanghai, but for some reason the room was unbearably hot and stuffy. I turned off the heating and even tried to turn on the cold AC but the temperature remained the same. It was difficult to sleep because of how hot and sweaty I was. The windows couldn’t be opened so I couldn’t even get a fresh breeze…

The overall atmosphere is nice for a short vacation out of the Shanghai City center. One major stand out amongst the employees was Alisa. my check in was not only handled professionally, but also very attentive to details. Alisa has a friendly smile and very good attitude, her English was excellent and was very helpful with letting me know about the Chinese New Years activities at the hotel. With her help, I was able to enjoy a Great laser light show and firework show last night.
