"The boss sister is very kind and patient. The first room was small and flawed. The boss specially arranged another room, 401 in Building 2. Very good. Because it is a hotel apartment, in a seaside community. There is a pool in the community. The guest is 30, and 8:00-20:30 is open in the morning. The water quality is clean. There are a variety of seafood and barbecues on the side. The owner called ”Fishing and Fishing” is very good, things are fresh and fair. GGuest UserThe location of the B&B is very convenient. You can take the 302 tourist line from Shenjiawan Passenger Terminal for 10 yuan per person and get off at Gaochangwan Bus Station. The B&B is under the bus stop. It is also very convenient to transfer to other buses. I came on June 12. The location of this B&B is about 7 minutes' walk from Gaochangwan Bathing Beach (Tianyuewan Resort). The original ticket was 50 yuan. Because I live in this village, the owner of the B&B gave me a ticket. It only costs 30 yuan to enter the beach, and I can also get a wristband. I can enter and exit the beach at will within one day. The limit is one day. I think that except for living in Gaochangwan, other B&Bs must not have this treatment. This beach should belong to this village. This beach is very large and long, with fine sand. You can take a bath when it is hot. It is a sister beach with Jihu Beach behind the B&B mountain, separated by a mountain. The B&B is very new. The owner said that it will be repaired every year to keep it brand new. The decoration style is all related to the sea, very warm and comfortable, the accommodation conditions are impeccable, and the owner's house design has a large terrace on the 4th floor, where you can cool off, drink tea and watch the scenery. In one of the rooms, you can see the sea and the beach by opening the curtains, which is very comfortable. I looked at the B&Bs around, and there are very few with such a large terrace. During the period, I also went to the Donghai Fishing Village mentioned by my friend. There are more people there, but it looks very messy, and the design of the B&B is not very good. The Donghai Fishing Village is lively, and there are many food stalls. If you want to be quiet, Gaochang Bay is really quiet. Also, it is recommended to let the B&B owner cook seafood if you want to eat it, which is affordable. ❤️Praise the housekeeper sister and brother of other people's houses for being so nice! When I first arrived on the island, the temperature suddenly dropped. The sister lent me a super windproof coat to wear. The next day, my sweater fell into the sea again. It was not dry when I left after several days of drying. As it turned out, this coat saved me for three days! Grateful heart! ❤️Praise the breakfast every morning. The porridge and side dishes are really comfortable and delicious! ENDING👉🏻Flower and Bird Island is a lovely island. It is super great to meet other people's housekeepers here. It's like visiting an old friend's house. It's free and comfortable, warm and happy! I also met very interesting ”neighbors”. We all live in the same B&B. We meet in various places in a day. In the end, we can greet and say goodbye like old friends. It's really interesting (I was moved to tears)!

Three children and four adults were accommodated during the family trip without feeling crowded. There were children's tents and parent-child sofas. The pick-up driver was very helpful We made an appointment to watch the sunrise at the uninhabited village and Dongya cliff. The cost was very reasonable and the scenery was beautiful. KKelkooI stayed there for 3 nights in 2 different rooms - the queen bed garden view (no pictures) and Queen Bed sea view (pictures provided).
This accommodation is located on the east side of the island close to the bridge going to Shengshan Island. I liked it’s location because it allowed me to hike around both islands. However, there’s a bus stop just next to the hostel if you like.
The owners and their 2 dogs are adorable. They also own a small ice cream shop in the center which I recommend.
The view from then restaurant area is just perfect. They serve good food - mix of local seafood dishes and non-seafood. There’s also a small beach area just in front with no entry fee.
Overall I would highly recommend this place for the view, location and price. My only negative point is that the sea view room is located above their kitchen. The room gets the kitchen smells anytime they cook. If that does not bother you, this room has a very nice view. I personally would pick the garden view which is located separately from the main house if I would book again.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?
