The Grove Cromer

Very friendly staff, tasty food and amazingly peaceful and natural grounds. My wifes only complaint was that we weren't staying longer. Though, we did wonder if different blinds or curtains would be good in the room as it got light early in the room being summertime

Hotel and accommodation and Hotel restaurant excellent, Sundown Tipi tent restaurant in 2021 was excellent also, this May we decided to go again, couldent wait, Booked, and was very disapointed! Food was terrible, thrown together by un-caring teen wanabee chefs, we called it overpriced sauce pizzas because thats just about all you get! No cheese, nothing, I counted 6 sweetcorns! Drink menu was terrible and also overpriced, what happened to the local beer? Would I recommend, no, wont be seeing me again!

The hotel is in a great location- a lovely walk through the woods onto the cliff path. We had a fabulous meal at Sundown which offered something different than usual restaurant food. Our room was quite small ( no. 10) but had everything we needed. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I might be wrong but when I was booking on the website I couldn’t see pictures of each individual room by number. Therefore I wasn’t able to book exactly what I wanted. This could be improved on the website. Our full English breakfast was very good - the sausages and bacon were excellent quality. There was a great choice of other items to choose on the buffet. We felt that the dinner, bed and breakfast rate was good value for money. We would definitely visit again but might stay in room 8 instead as it was more luxurious (I was able to have a look while the cleaners were in there this morning!) All staff we met were friendly and helpful and we appreciated the relaxed , homely, country house feel that the hotel has. We particularly loved the vegetable garden and the hotels ethos of sustainability, by growing its own produce for the restaurant . My husband enjoyed his late night swim in the private pool which made our stay a little bit different. We would recommend this hotel.

Everything about this hotel was great The room (Victoria) was more than we expected, clean, spacious, lovely King Size bed and massive big bathroom with all toiletries supplied Grounds were lovely, staff brilliant and so helpful Breakfast was 10/10 Walk into Cromer beach only 15 mins

Our room was very nice and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and efficient. We booked to have an evening meal, which was excellent. The menu was varied and there was no problem accommodating my wife’s gluten free diet. We would certainly like to stay again.

We were gifted a one night getaway for Christmas, and it was a fantastic experience. We stayed in the Sunburst Lodge, which had a beautiful outlook on the gardens. The location itself is brilliant just a short stroll to the cliff up or the beach. In the evening. We enjoyed three course meal which was cooked perfectly. In the morning. We enjoyed a cooked breakfast which set us up for the day. The staff were all really friendly and super helpful And our overall experience for a Valentines weekend feel special.

Lovely surroundings, nice clean room, friendly staff and exquisite food. Very enjoyable stay and even enjoyed a swim.

Had a great four day break here.The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.The room had lovely views of the garden.I thoroughly enjoyed all my meals,the quality and presentation of the food was to a very high standard.Made use of the swimming pool which you pre book and have to yourself.Can,t wait to return.😊

What a stay! Truly great. It was a very special weekend for my mum as it was her 80th!, and from the moment we got to the hotel until when we left, everything was just perfect. The staff couldn't have done enough for us, the food was amazing, and we had super rooms, together with the opportunity and weather to drink our bubbly outside in your garden! Thank you for a lovely weekend, which was finished off with a tasty, filling and very enjoyable breakfast and a wonderful swim in your pool. Thank you again! Petra x
