Location was excellent, just a short walk to MRT. Hotel was clean, modern with a fab rooftop pool and bar. I appreciated the time limit on the day beds so they couldn’t be hogged all day. Really enjoyed our stay here, would recommend it to everyone and will certainly be returning on future trips

Very good location just outside Tanjong Pagar MRT. The room is big and matress pillow very nice. The breakfast has many selection from continental to asian.
The minus point is that after the 1st night, they took all dressing gowns away and didnt give more slippers even if there were none anymore.
Had a great stay there. This place is quite close to Mrt station and tourists attractions. Therefore , it’s quite convenient if you want to go around the city area. Thanks for your great hospitality (Yani, Mart and Maica)!

Mary, Maica, and Carms were excellent team that help me in everything that I requested, thanks to all of them. The room was quiet at night even it is in China Town. Plenty good restaurants, near to two SMRT stations, ”China town” and ”Maxwell”, The cleans of the room was amazing and in the same floor you can wash and dry your clothes free or charge. The cooking stuff enough to cook a regular meal. Decent Internet speed. Easy check in and out. quick to revert the deposit to my credit card. Overall wonderful stay

The location was superb ! Lots of food options. Connected to train station. However, bathroom size was extremely small . Even Singapore public housing do not have such small bathrooms. I would advise foreign tourists to think twice because even I as a normal built Asian struggled to wipe myself after shower. It was suffocating ! Front desk service is not very friendly but maybe because they treat locals as such. The cleaning staff are very friendly though.

Had a great night sleep and was wondering what bed the hotel uses. The lounge with high ceilings brings lots of sunlight to the lounge, and it gives me happy vibes. The food prepared in the lounge and breakfast at lime tasted good. I will be back on my birthday next year.

Very tiny room for the price
Tiny bathroom, shower and toilet bowl side by side
Very noisy, walls paper thin, you won’t sleep well
Noisy neighbours talking loudly, loud tv, no loud noise cut off time policy
Very little amenities - toothbrush, slippers, shampoo, conditioner and bathsosp
Weird high bed design which you have to jump on
Too expensive
No space to open luggage, only good for small carry on haversack or shoulder bag
Light above head of bed is blinding and not adjustable
Will not stay again, other cheaper places around with bigger space, bed, more amenities and separate shower and toilet bowl space.
Terrible.

Location is nice, room is quite small but we managed to fit our luggage with a little bit of tetris skills lol, Hot water didn't last we have it the first 2 days of our stay only dunno why. Place is recommended if you want everything near you very near in maxwell, chinatown complex, lau pa sat (for hawkers) old nanyang coffee, maxwell station and chinatown station (for mrt/bus) and all touristy stuff walking distance or just 1-3 stops away via bus or mrt. Easy check in and check out just prepare 100 SGD cash for deposit, they give it back upon check out.

Good stay clean and comfortable! Four USB socket to charge and can also scan QR code to request more amenities. They send to our room within 5 mins. Also have microwave, utensils and plates for usage. Filtered water dispenser is super convenient. Room is spacious. Toilet and showering is separated. Location is beside a building that is under construction so it’s best to close window curtains as there are many workers. Rubbish bin is too small and not big enough to throw food packaging after eating.

I had an amazing stay at Dorsett Hotel Singapore!
The Splash Room with its huge bathtub was a true highlight—such a luxurious and relaxing experience.
The hospitality from the hotel crew Mr. Rowell, Mr. Dennis & Ms. Jie Ying was impeccable; everyone went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and well taken care of. I also thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary Foodies Tour organized by the hotel—it was a fantastic way to explore the local culinary scene.
Thank you to everyone at Dorsett for making my stay so memorable and delightful experience!

Very Good
IIvyRoom is sleek and modern, also smells really good. Hotel is in a convenient location with Chinatown, Clark Quay and financial district by the doorsteps. Service is great and responsive. The bed and linen are comfortable. Only complaint is the lobby being on the 2nd level and the elevator queue is such a pain every time we go out. I stayed on the 13th floor and I feel the elevator prioritize the higher level (20th above). I booked a Grab when I waited for the elevator and the driver arrived at the hotel before my elevator. Multiple elevators skipped my floor went straight down or didn’t even move at all. I ended up paying penalty fee for the driver’s wait time.

GGuest UserThe room is a bit small, but the facilities are complete. The location is good, and it is convenient for travel. It is very close to Chinatown. There is also a 99 old tree next to it for eating durian. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the sewer in the bathroom has a bit of an offensive smell.

VVero&Alex travelersThe location is very convenient, many places for food and close to the station. The space is quite cleaned and the bed is very comfortable. If you don’t mind sharing bathroom it is good. The breakfast was also nice, possibility of cooking your own eggs. I’m not sure if when is many people it would be same experience as there are not many toilet and the breakfast space is not as big, only one hob. For us it was perfect.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent. There is a subway station and a hawker center next to it. There are many popular check-in spots and food streets around it. The hotel room is quite large in Singapore. It is very comfortable. It is a pleasant stay. I visit the bar on the first floor once a day. All drinks and snacks are free. It is really touching. The service is very good. The only thing is that the thin and tall female waitress always seems to be worried and looks unhappy.

EelcelcLocated within walking distance from Maxwell MRT. Accessible to many cafes and there is a 7-11 just located opposite of the hotel.
Room is quite small so it will be quite difficult to move around if there are multiple luggages. Basic amenities are provided such as toothbrush & toothpaste, comb, shaving set & shower cap. However noted that there are no mineral water provided (Evian water is chargeable). There is kettle in the room so you can boil your own water or get it from 7-11 just across the street.
Visible worn out look and dust is seen in the room. Also, noted some ants in the washroom. So cleanliness can be improved.
Our room comes with access to their executive lounge but certain service such as afternoon nibbles are only available at Maxwell Reserve (walkable distance). Pool and gym are also only available at the other location. Breakfast and evening cocktail is available in the hotel itself.
If you're looking for a boutique hotel with unique design, can consider to stay a night as it is located near to many food areas.

GGuest UserIt was a great experience, Jonathan and all the staff were very welcoming and if you need suggestions, they will always have some, very helpful! They have a great space to socialize and also an area where you can work if needed. Definitely will go back there! From my perspective, it was so close to everywhere, the subway, the marina bay, and the markets. Every day there was something to do and meeting new people and new roommates.

DDBSKAlways choose this hotel every time I visit Singapore. Located new my office and many food available around this hotel. Best. Room is clean and shared bathroom / toilet are well maintained. In my recent visit, the hair dryer and one of the shower head were malfunctioning. Hope the management can look into it.

GGuest UserThe location is great, it's close to Maxwell MRT station, and a few walks to Chinatown. It's convenient to ride on a bus too which near the Hindi Temple.
The room is small for 3 persons but the facilities are well done. The kitchenware can be used for easy cooking.
The mattress and blankets are thick enough, but I got itchiness on my arms during night. Just take care of the hygiene of bedsheets/mattress.
