Finca Ca's Curial - Agroturismo - Adults Only
4.8/542 Reviews
I truly loved our stay here and would recommend Ca's Curial to anyone seeking a private, peaceful setting and a special experience that can't be replicated by staying in a more traditional hotel. The grounds and buildings are beautiful - rustic, charming, and surrounded by stunning views of the mountains. My room at the top of the stairs was simply and tastefully furnished. A (very comfortable) four-post king bed, airy whitewashed walls and wood beams, and great natural light. The terrace was enormous - each morning I had coffee and admired the mountains in the sunshine; each evening I sat looking up at endless stars. Andreu and Jesus were incredibly diligent and kind, offering helpful recommendations for trips into town, restaurants, and transportation reservations, when needed. The small staff of Ca's Curial are consistently attentive to their guests, the rooms & grounds. The pool and surrounding chaises were a daily, sunny respite (with visiting roosters, hens and rabbits on occasion). There is a lovely 'secret garden' walkway through the property's orange groves on a path lined with rosemary and lavender, leading into the town of Soller. I felt so serene staying here, and would not hesitate to return. Ca's Curial was truly a special place to visit. Tips: Due to the small local roadways, do not rent larger-sized vehicles; plan on 4-seaters, if you are driving. Make restaurant reservations in advance, especially during busier tourists season - most places are fully booked, nightly. Some of the rooms require stairs - guests with mobility concerns should be sure to speak to the staff when booking to ensure accommodations can their needs.

Great location and really very friendly staff.
Pure Salt Port de Soller

We stayed in this hotel for a week just after it reopened as part of the Pure Salt chain after 2 years of the Covid pandemic. We booked and travelled with Jet2holidays. There were clearly some opening teething problems. Supply chains had obviously struggled as had problems as the mini bar was empty on our arrival. When we reported this to reception we got 2 bottles of San Miguel and a Mars Bar. Later in the week some spirits and water arrived. There was a lack of toiletries (bearing in mind this is a luxury brand I expected more than a bottle of multipurpose hand wash/shower gel/shampoo and another of hand/body lotion. All the staff were new and finding their way in their roles with managers who were still working out how things should be organised. The manager was often visible and frequently stressed. Our room door lock refused us entry after breakfast one morning. Every one worked hard to fix it but it did mean that once they’d let us in we couldn’t go out for a while. If your mini bar is empty there is nothing to drink in the room. It is unclear if the tap water is drinkable and the kettle and drink making facilities advertised on Jet2’s site never appeared so we bought bottled water locally. Breakfast offers a wide range of choices, including a hot and cold buffet, continental breakfast, bread & pastries and additional hot items to order if you like. The dinner menu is delicious but a bit repetitive for 7 nights, especially if you don’t like some options. I would eat in the restaurant again wouldn’t book half board again as there are many local restaurants offering a wider variety of food. Also everything extra at dinner is chargeable (including water and bread) and there are surcharges on many dishes. Make sure you’re brought the right QR menu so you know what is charged. The hotel is well positioned at the end of the bay on a level path round the bay. The trams are far enough away that their noise is incidental rather than intrusive. The public areas are lovely. The pool area is up quite a few steps and enjoys fabulous views over the bay. The bar in this are wasn’t open during our stay, when it does open it will be worth heading up for a drink. The main bar seemed sp****ly stocked but that may be a supply issue and there are probably more choices now. Information about the hotel was available on the Pure Salt app. Unfortunately the QR code on the keycards took you to another brand in the hotel group. Once you have the right app it gives you lots of information including the menus, room service details and local walking tours. During our visit we walked a lovely path to Soller and back (about 45 mins each way) and got the bus to and from Palma from the bus station. Buses also ran Soller and other local villages with good paths back (take suitable footwear). This a lovely hotel which will only improve as staff become more proficient. However, it needs a few more touches to be luxury. Things like a range of toiletries, bottled water

Amazing location just off the main square. Easy check-in procedure and box outside to keep keys, large room and large bathroom with bathtub. Pretty shared courtyard and salon, although be aware of mosquitos in courtyard in summer, and not so many cafes open early before 9am for breakfast. Decor was rustic but classy and gives a local feel, pillows and bed were okay only, a bit hard.

Great hotel! People were very kind and the room was cleaned. Parking area is also big enough. Through the gate you can go to the beach easily. Especially Breakfast was great! It also has good path for walking and the reception area was also very cozy. But since it was old building, they did not have many electrical cords. If you bring many electronics, you better bring a mulit-outlet to charge.
