Have visited 3 times in the past month and have used the spa and the restaurant…each time the service has been terrible. This morning I sat on the terrace and tried to order a coffee but no staff anywhere…after 15 minutes, asked if reception could assist me and she sorted it…but after that, no-one asked if we would like more drinks etc. Same issue with the spq, after you arrive and check in, there is no one checking if you are comfortable and/or would like a drink. It’s impossible to get any service. I have been here since 9am and at no point has anybody asked if I would like anything. If I do choose to return in the future, I’ll ensure I bring my own drinks and snacks…or go to Calcot, where the service is notably better. You could be significantly increasing your revenue, if you improved on the issue. I estimate I would have spent about £50 on coffee and drinks so far this morning…and there are 4 of us here. The hotel is in a beautiful setting…the one positive aspect. This hotel could be excellent, if Management were to get a grip of the issues!
