Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.

GGuest UserI love the philosophy of this hotel, sustainable development and zen! The staff is very friendly and give me good suggestions all the time! The sourdough from the bakery is extremely nice. I love their pizza, cinnamon rolls and cookie! The grill room provide delicious meat and wine! The breakfast is super yummy! The room is very cozy and warm! I love the rainforest shower, the furniture and the books! The spa centre and the garden make me relax! I will come back and recommend to everyone!

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout the stay, always willing to assist when needed. Upon arriving in Zermatt and taking the Gornergrat Bahn, it is highly recommended to call the hotel in advance so they can arrange luggage pickup at Riffelberg station. Pulling luggage by yourself can be quite challenging, as the path involves walking through snow and crossing ski areas. One of the highlights of this hotel is the breathtaking and unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The mountain is clearly visible from the hotel area, and there is truly no need to go elsewhere just to enjoy this iconic view. The outdoor jacuzzi is a wonderful feature; however, on some days the water temperature was not warm enough, making it comfortable to use only on certain occasions. Dinner is served as a set course menu. Each evening, there are two main dish options: one meat dish (which changes daily, such as beef, pork, or fish) and one vegetarian option. The food quality is very good and tasty, but the service is relatively slow — completing the full course takes around two hours. The hotel is well equipped with an elevator that provides access to all floors, which is very convenient, especially when carrying belongings.

FFinalLinkMy wife and I were on a honeymoon trip and booked Hotel Albatros. The front desk was really nice and helpful and provided us with two glasses of champagne. They left some nice surprise in the room. The room was clean and quiet. It has a huge balcony that links the same floor. The shuttle bus is 10 franc per room per trip. It is located in between the bahnhof and the Paradise Cablecar. Both about 10-15 mins away. All in all loved it.

Stayed two nights at Antika. Was given a free upgrade to a hotel antika room when i booked an annex antika room! The room is spacious and well decorated. Looks old style but its actually quite well maintained. Gives a cottage vibe. The breakfast was pretty alright with lots of bread as usual. Theres also a wellness area where you can chill. Location may not be the most ideal, about 10 mins walk from zermatt station and right beside the mountaineers' cemetery. You can have a good view point of the matterhorn from the bridge outside though!
