I recently enjoyed one of my best vacations ever at Piazza di Spagna 9 Luxury Suites in Rome. From the moment I booked, the team reached out via WhatsApp to offer help with transfers or tours — thoughtful and attentive without being pushy. I immediately felt like a valued guest.
The suites sit on the third floor of a charming historic building right next to the Spanish Steps. Despite the unbeatable location, it’s remarkably quiet and relaxing. The concierge service is top-notch — when I was running late for my Pantheon visit, staff quickly arranged to collect my luggage so my husband and I could head out stress-free.
Their restaurant recommendations were another highlight. We tried four places from their curated list, each superb and fairly priced, letting us experience authentic local dining away from tourist traps. The team even handled all our reservations.
The reception area feels more like an art gallery, with stylish décor and vibrant paintings. Guests can relax in the cozy living or dining areas — a lovely touch. Our suite faced the piazza and was filled with natural light, offering a perfect view of visitors strolling by the Spanish Steps.
Being steps away from Via Condotti’s luxury boutiques adds to the convenience. Special thanks to Franco, the owner, for his wonderful restaurant suggestions, and to Gianmarco whose friendly help made our stay extra smooth.
The genuine hospitality and personal attention here truly stand out. It’s not just about luxury — it’s about feeling welcome and cared for. I’ll definitely stay at Piazza di Spagna 9 again and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
Simply top rated — the best!

Great and wonderful
I had a memorable trip to Rome and stayed at the Dharma Boutique Hotel & SPA ar Jan 2025. The hotel has a limited number of rooms but is exceptionally clean, beautiful, and well-equipped, with great attention paid to the smallest details for guests' comfort. The hotel staff are very kind and attentive to guests' needs, and I would especially like to thank Raffa and Giovanni Loca . In the evenings, free snacks and various drinks are served. The hotel is close to major tourist attractions, and you can visit all of them by walking. Additionally, a metro station is just a few meters away from the hotel. Around the hotel, there are many beautiful restaurants and bars.
The warm and friendly behaviors of the hotel staff have made me want to encourage my friends to stay at this hotel if they plan to visit Rome. Personally, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Guests can stay at this hotel without any risk and enjoy its beautiful environment, excellent rooms, and kind staff.

I had a lovely stay at Leon’s Place! The room was beautiful with high ceilings and very comfortable overall. It could get a bit noisy at times (thin walls, I think), but it wasn’t a huge issue.
The real highlight of this hotel is the staff — so friendly and welcoming. They really made the stay feel special.
The location was decent. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Termini station and a bit further from the main sights like Trevi Fountain, but there’s a bus stop just 2 minutes away that makes it super easy to get around. The area is quiet and feels very safe, with lots of embassies nearby.
Breakfast was okay — not a lot of hot food options, but the pastries were nice. At €22, I felt it was a bit overpriced for what you get. If it was closer to €10–15, I would’ve had it more often. On the other hand, the dinner was delicious and had a great variety.
The hotel also offers a free spa area (jacuzzi, sauna, steam room), which is a great extra. Sadly, I didn’t get to try it this time as it was fully booked — but I’d love to next time!
Overall, I’d definitely consider staying here again.

Guest UserThe room is spotless -sheets are being changed sometimes TWICE A DAY (!),I stayed at the deluxe room which had amazing Roman architectural elements such as extremely highly ceilings with “wavy” ceiling, big windows with antique vibes.
The room is modernly designed with great amenities.
I give the hotel extra points on using “Acqua di Parma” toiletries, it means a lot in my opinion when a luxury hotel use luxury toiletries.
The hotel staff is out of this world -very helpful, very kind and very welcoming. The reception staff is very patient and will go above and beyond in order to help the guest to have the best experience in Rome . Regarding the location -the hotel is 8 minutes walking from the from the colosseum, should I add more ?

I cannot even put into words how this place took my heart in a whirlwind. This is truly the most beautiful hotel with some of the kindest and friendliest souls, I’ve ever been to. I was welcomed like a queen, because it was my birthday, got an upgrade and beautiful gifts like a flower bouquet, a bottle of very nice prosecco and a delicious tart. The room - the junior suite - was just breathtaking. The materials, the love to every single detail, the smell of the highest quality materials used… an absolute dream. So is the whole hotel. The Minerva bar and the roof top restaurant Gigi with its view over Eternal City- what can I say?? I’m madly in love with- ti amo, La Minerva ❤️

BellahhI decided to write this review in English so that as many people as possible around the world can read it, because this hotel truly deserves to be known.
From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, every single member of the staff was incredibly kind, warm, and professional. Their genuine hospitality made our honeymoon even more special, and we felt sincerely welcomed throughout our entire stay.
When they found out we were celebrating our honeymoon, they surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. It wasn’t just an upgrade—it was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture that truly touched us. It showed how much they genuinely care about their guests.
The room itself was absolutely spotless. I’ve stayed at many 5-star hotels around the world, but I can honestly say this was one of the cleanest and most comfortable rooms I’ve ever experienced. Everything was perfectly maintained, and every detail reflected the high standards of the hotel.
One of my favorite details was that the amenities were from Byredo. It was such a luxurious touch and made the entire experience feel even more premium.
The biggest surprise came after we returned from sightseeing. Waiting for us in our room was a beautiful and delicious cake with “Happy Honeymoon” written on it. It was completely unexpected and made us feel so appreciated. Moments like these are what turn a great hotel stay into an unforgettable memory.
If I ever come back to Rome, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else. I will absolutely choose Nobu Hotel again without hesitation.
I also hope more Korean travelers discover this hotel. Surprisingly, it isn’t very well known among Koreans yet, but it truly deserves much more recognition. Having stayed at quite a few luxury 5-star hotels, I can confidently say that this was one of the very best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
For me, it was a perfect 10 out of 10. I genuinely couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. Every detail, every service, and every interaction exceeded my expectations.
Thank you, Nobu Hotel Roma, for making our honeymoon so unforgettable. We will definitely be back.

**Hygiene:** The cleaning staff's hygiene awareness is seriously lacking. On the third day, when they came to clean, I was in the room. The first thing the attendant did after entering was to put the new bedsheets and duvet cover directly on my suitcase. My suitcase had just traveled across three continents and endured countless transfers; placing them anywhere else would have been better.
**Service:** Most staff spoke English, but the cleaning staff didn't speak a word. The restaurant on the first floor served good food and always had a live pianist, creating a lovely ambiance. However, the main course on the first night was incredibly slow to arrive – it probably took 1 hour and 20 minutes from ordering until it was served. By then, I was already full from the pasta. Some of the waitstaff were quite arrogant. The young man who greeted me on the first night asked if I had a reservation. When I said no, he declared, 'you have to reserve.' Yet, he still gave me a table. On the last day, I walked in at lunch without a reservation again, and no one cared at all; other guests also hadn't reserved. It felt like I was 'schooled' for no reason on the first night. He also flat-out refused my request to sit indoors, saying, 'Why sit inside when everyone else is outside?' However, on my last day, when he wasn't there, another young waiter actually asked if I preferred sitting outdoors or indoors, and I chose indoors. On the last day at lunch, the restaurant wouldn't allow suitcases inside, demanding they be checked in with a blunt attitude. The old man in charge of luggage storage was even worse, acting incredibly arrogant several times when I went to get water or retrieve my bag. Furthermore, the last day is typically check-out day, so staff shouldn't even be entering the room to clean. Even if communication within the team is poor, they should at least knock before entering, right? Luckily, I had the security chain on, or else they would have just walked right in. My room wasn't cleaned on the second day, even though my 'do not disturb' sign was only up until 3 PM. The fact that the staff made no checks whatsoever between 3 PM and the end of their shift indicates extremely unprofessional management.
**Amenities & Policies:** The room was large and had a balcony, which was great. The amenities were a bit subpar. The toilet seat had no soft-close mechanism whatsoever, creating a huge bang when it came down, a stark contrast to the Hotel Cerretani Firenze - MGallery Collection, where I stayed immediately afterward, which had silent toilet seats. Also, water at the Crowne Plaza costs money; you get two free bottles daily, and then it's 3 Euros per bottle. Considering the hotel's good value for money overall, this is acceptable.
**Location:** It's located in the southwest suburbs. If you drive directly to the city center, it takes less than 20 minutes, but getting a taxi requires matching and waiting, and public transport involves transfers to the subway, with bus schedules often unreliable. This makes getting around quite a hassle. The hotel offers a shuttle bus, but it's paid (5-8 Euros) and runs infrequently to limited destinations. I only took it once to the Colosseum, and even then, the drop-off point was still a long walk from the attraction.
**Sleep Quality:** Generally quiet, with not much noise during the day or night. I heard a bit of talking the night before I left, but it was nothing bothersome.
**Biggest Advantage:** Value for money. For less than 2000 RMB a night, including breakfast, for a room of this size and with the IHG brand, it felt like a fair deal.

Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, would have loved to stay longer. The room was excellent, location 10 minute walk from Stazione Termini. We could walk to various attractions within 30 minute walk, this was a bonus. We loved the outdoor set up including the pool. The room was available even though we arrived just before noon. Highly recommend the hotel.

A very, very good hotel. Although the location is a bit far from the city and the central station, a taxi cost about 16 euros a day, but the hotel rooms are indeed much better than those in the city. Especially the bed and soundproofing, the surrounding area is purely residential, restaurants and supermarkets are very close and convenient. The hotel provides a taxi service for 10 euros a trip to the vicinity of the Mouth of Truth.
