A perfect hotel with unexpectedly excellent service! From the lobby manager to the bar manager, everyone was always there when you needed them. The food was carefully prepared, and the non-slip flooring in the guest bathroom was impeccable. The marble on the walls looked like a painting, very tasteful. If I had to find a flaw, it would be that the hairdryer is a bit big and heavy, and the body lotion the hotel uses is too fragrant. Other than that, it's definitely the top choice hotel for value for money!

SuperjhThe hotel's location is super convenient, right at Hakata Station. You can directly access JR and Shinkansen lines from B1. Popular spots like Musashi Wagyu Rice are right across the street from the 1st-floor exit, and the famous sheep cheese toast is just a 6-minute walk away. The hotel's cleanliness is also excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious for Japan. It's definitely a top choice for family trips!

Guest UserI usually will stay in Dormy Inn hot spring hotels during my Japan trips. This hotel would provide osen bath to hotel guest and I’m sure the osen is with mineral. This hotel in Fufuoka is nice with clean and good size room. It would be nice if the price of twin bed rooms will lower a bit.

Anonymous UserThis trip to Fukuoka, staying at the Grand Hyatt was a big plus for its location. It's just a 1-minute walk from the Kushida Shrine Station subway, and close to Gion Station and Hakata Station. Taking the subway to Fukuoka Airport, Tenjin, Dazaifu, and Itoshima is super convenient. Canal City and Kushida Shrine are also within walking distance.
The hotel has a trendy, minimalist urban style. The public areas are well-designed, and it even has its own large public bath and sauna – perfect for unwinding after a long day of walking. The rooms are clean and tidy, with thoughtful storage solutions, comfortable bedding, and all the essential amenities.
✅ Practical Experience:
▪️ Check-out is at 12:00. You can store your luggage for free after check-out, which is great for hassle-free shopping. The 24-hour front desk service is very friendly.
▪️ There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab food or essentials.
▪️ Direct subway access to the airport means no stress when catching your flight.
A small note: Japanese hotel rooms aren't huge, but this is typical for city hotels in Japan.
Overall, it's a great choice for those visiting Fukuoka for sightseeing and shopping. Its excellent transportation links make getting around incredibly efficient.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station. The breakfast was excellent, especially the curry and mentaiko roe. The hotel also has a public bath, which was very relaxing after a busy day of exploring. There is a convenience store right across the street, which was very handy. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would happily stay here again.

Guest UserThe room is about 21 square meters, which is quite spacious and comfortable for Japan. There's a large public bath on the 10th floor, which is really refreshing. They have a shuttle bus to JR Chihaya Station, which helps mitigate the somewhat secluded location. The surroundings are beautiful, and the breakfast is decent, though there's quite a noticeable gap compared to the SORA next door – you get what you pay for. I'd say UMI is good for solo travelers, and SORA for couples!

Guest UserSummary: don't stay here. You've been warned. I've been to many capsule hotels in Japan. None were as horribly bad and overpriced as this one.
Good: close to the station and the staff do what they can within their (very confined) perceived limits
Bad: no sound insulation so you get to enjoy ambient sounds like traffic, trains and other patrons scuffling about during nighttime. The mattress is moldy, dirty and super thin so it doesn't feel comfortable unless you're used to sleeping on a moldy floor. The layout makes absolutely no sense at all. They tried cramming in as many capsules as possible in one small area and called it a day. 2 toilet stalls for 62 capsules? Laughable. The bath area is minuscule so you're queueing just to get a cramped dip. Lockers are minuscule and the luggage area is right next to the reception so you have to cross public area just to get some stuff out of your luggage. No space to unpack in peace either. I'd rather have them drop the breakfast and bathing area in favour of fixing the one thing they're supposed to deliver: a good night's sleep.
Consider this place a last resort, not a proper stay.

sungduek parkI like the service and breakfast. However, the bathroom in the room is small and the facilities are old. The window in the room doesn't open, even though I wanted to. I tried to force it open, but it was hard. Other than that, I'm generally satisfied.

The hotel is very large, the hot spring is on the 2nd floor, there is an open-air pool and indoor pool, and the bath is very large. The hotel is right by the sea, the window of the room is facing the sea, the view is first-class, you can go to the beach for a walk and swim. The hotel's pool is only open every afternoon, we arrived at the hotel at 6 pm, and checked out at 10 pm the next day, so we were not able to go swimming in the pool. Breakfast and dinner are very rich! We have two children (3 and 8 years old), 3 years free, 8 years old will pay 8,000 yen (including breakfast and dinner and accommodation). There is no water in the room, but a pot of ice water is prepared. There is no bathtub in the room, so you must go to the big bath. The hotel has a washing machine and a dryer, 200 yen per time.
