1-Star Hotels in Istanbul

Stayed for 3 night. Warmly greeted by Mehmet, the owner of the place. Booked 2 rooms and being upgrade to bigger room. Its a great hotel. Walking distance to all major attraction such as Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand bazaar. Surrounded by lots of restaurant. Hotel room was spacious and the things that excites me was the buffet breakfast. Eventhough the menu was almost the same everyday, but it has plenty of option. The variety makes my tummy happy 😆. Should I recommend this hotel to others? Definitely YES!

Mola İstanbul is an absolute gem! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made our family feel right at home. What truly stood out was the staff. Polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to help, they went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless. From offering thoughtful recommendations to accommodating our needs with a smile, their kindness added so much to our visit. I’m thrilled to have discovered Mola İstanbul—it’s a haven of comfort and joy in this vibrant city. If you’re looking for a place where quality service meets a family-friendly vibe, look no further. The double room (room 202) was very nice. It was tastefully decorated and hotel renovation was apparently only recently completed in early 2026. We could not hear noise from the street or calls to prayer from the 2 nearby mosques. However we had disturbed sleep for 2 nights of our 4-night stay because of young inconsiderate female guests coming to their rooms in the early hours of the morning laughing and banging doors and going to and from each others rooms. They woke us up and kept us awake because we could hear their conversation and merriment through the walls. However night staff on the floor below were either unaware of it or ignored it. On the positive side the day staff were smiling and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was varied, tasty and more than adequate. But it's the broken sleep that leaves me still annoyed and spoiled an otherwise great stay in a great location near to the old town, and tram and train lines that made getting around so easy and affordable.

Brother Mohammed greeted us warmly and wonderfully at the reception. I thank him for checking us in early. The hotel is beautiful and clean, and its location is fantastic. Everything was great. Thank you to Brother Milad; he was very kind. We will see you soon.

The location is perfect, you are less than 10 mins walk to the ferry and metro station. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within 5 mins of the hotel and plenty of kebab restaurants open until 3am. Just a warning that the hotel is on a steep hill with cobbled pavements. If you are arriving with heavy luggage, I’d suggest you take a taxi as it’ll be very difficult to navigate the narrow and busy street otherwise. Hotel is great, the rooms are spacious and kept clean. The provide bottle water and toiletries. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is great for a layover when flying to Italy. It's about 20 minutes from the airport, and there's a beautiful mosque nearby, which is a nice bonus. Eating out is convenient, and there's a supermarket close by too. While the location is a bit out of the way with not much to see or do, it's perfectly suitable as a transit hotel.

Great hotel! I and my sister really liked it, having stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast is nice, there was always one main course available (e.g. nuggets and french fries) with the variety of snacks, fruit and desserts. The rooftop canteen is very romantic The furniture and amenities of the hotel are new and convenient: we like abundant storage areas, the elevator and cozy beds The stuff is very friendly It's only 10 minutes away of bus stop and 15 minutes away of Istiklal avenue, very conveniently placed for exploring the city centre Around the hotel is a bakery, a supermarket, a grocery store, and also a park. The neighbourhood may be considered as a little bit risky, since there were a lot of abandoned homes nearby, but it didn't concern us in a slightest The cons of the hotel is bad soundproofing, no drying system (no dryer at the bathroom). The cons is very negligible, actually The price-quality balance is perfect. I'd definitely stay here one more time

It is very happy that you have chosen this hotel. It is the most center from where to any interesting location to hand to hand. At the same time the area of the hotel itself is somehow advantageous different from many of its relative calm. The hotel itself is very quiet, the hearing is almost zero, the rooms are clean, everything you need to eat. Breakfast is decent. Even after him did not want to eat) there were interruptions with wi-fi. I hope they will. Staff excellent. On all issues are ready to come to help, something to tell, recommend. We were very lucky with administrator Imir, who is from Turkmenistan, speaks Russian perfectly, all the days helped us on all interesting issues, gave us a lot of positive in communication. Very recommended this hotel. Well, the price is pleasantly surprised. We were afraid for such money we would see something 'tired', or not, everything clean and fresh. In general, we are very happy with the rest in this hotel and thank the hotel staff for the hospitality. Special, huge thanks to the hotel manager Imira. We wish him luck on the life path! I wanted to take a picture with him before leaving. It was not his change. We leave without saying goodbye. 🖐️🙌

A cockroach appeared in my room. When I take a shower, the drain can't keep up, and water accumulates on the floor.
