3-Star Hotels in Istanbul

The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival, they offered coffee or tea and provided maps, explaining nearby attractions and convenience stores, which was super helpful. They even gave me a special scarf, which came in handy for visiting the mosque as it requires a headscarf – a meaningful touch! They also helped carry my luggage upstairs and provided several complimentary bottles of water, which not all hotels do. The breakfast spread was one of the best I've had at any hotel, with a good variety, and the fruits like cherries and watermelon were very sweet! When checking out, they even gave me a local fridge magnet, which was a lovely gesture! The value for money is excellent, and the owner and staff are all so warm. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and its location is fantastic – very close to the mosque. You just have to walk up a hill and cross the road to get there, or you can take the tram up the hill for convenience. The only downside is that the uphill path can be quite steep and uneven, so wearing sneakers is recommended for comfort. Hauling luggage can be a bit challenging, but you can always take a taxi directly to the hotel entrance. Despite the tricky walk, overall, I'm extremely satisfied!

Everything was wonderful. My mother and I stayed for 5 nights. We received a very friendly welcome! They helped us carry our suitcase since our room was on the top floor. There's an elevator, which is super convenient! You get off on the 3rd floor and then it's just a couple more steps up the stairs. The room has a comfortable double bed, nightstands, and a sofa. There's a fridge and a kettle. The only thing missing is crockery, but that's not a big deal. We got a room with a view of the neighboring buildings. You might get this view or one with a full city view. But even so, it's still beautiful. And you have to consider that it's windy on the balcony. During our stay, we hardly went out on the balcony because of the wind. It's a 20-minute walk to the metro at a leisurely pace. Along the way, there are various cafes and vegetable stands, but they don't have prices :) However, if you urgently need something, you can buy it. But the hosts are very hospitable and always willing to help. We had a few situations and the hosts helped out, which was very pleasant. If I go to Istanbul again, I will definitely stay here again!!

This hotel was truly in a fantastic location. My wife and I had a quick holiday getaway, and the staff's attitude was wonderful. It's within walking distance to the ferry terminal and the high-speed train station. I would genuinely recommend it to everyone I know, and it's definitely my top choice for all my future Istanbul trips.

Convenient location with attractions within walking distance. It's a small, cozy hotel. We got a family room on the first floor with a balcony. Housekeeping was daily. Breakfast was the same every day, but you won't go hungry (egg, cigar borek, cheese, sausage, vegetables, cookies, fruit), instant coffee from a machine, tea, juice. The staff were very responsive and lovely. The rooms, furniture, and plumbing are a bit dated but in working order. There's a railway and a road directly under the windows (balcony), so the noise might be less on floors above the first. Having a balcony with a sea view for evening gatherings is a wonderful bonus. Breakfast on the terrace offers a beautiful view. Overall, a pleasant impression.

On our first day, we arrived at the hotel and the room was full of flies. We asked to change rooms, which they did, but the rooms weren't as clean and tidy as they appeared in the pictures. The service from the reception was great; they were very helpful. However, I have a major complaint about what seems to be a scam they're running. On our last day, they brought our luggage down to reception. When our car arrived, they loaded all the bags, but one bag was left behind at the hotel. We only realized this when we got to the airport. We contacted them, and they casually said it happens often and they would send it by taxi. They then charged us 2000 Turkish Lira to deliver it. It seems they frequently engage in these kinds of scams. I definitely do not recommend this hotel. The only good thing about it was its location; otherwise, it's a no-go.

Great location in the historic district, everything is within walking distance! Very polite reception staff: Gilfidan, Imamcan, Umut. We especially liked one lady whose name we didn't catch! Delicious breakfast with several types of cheese, omelets, boiled eggs, a large selection of fruits, vegetables – everything was tasty, including the pastries! The rooms are small. Our air conditioning wasn't working; we asked them to fix it, and it seemed to work for a bit, but then broke down again at night. Get a room with a balcony, otherwise, your clothes won't dry in the room. Other than that, everything was great! There are inexpensive restaurants nearby!

I met the kindest and nicest host while staying in Istanbul. They even upgraded my room and made my check-in time 2 hours earlier, and they welcomed me warmly. This was the first time I felt kindness among the Turkish people I met for 4 days. The room was also nice. The water pressure was strong! The room was really spacious.

Good location. Reasonable price. Clean rooms compared to the rest of the hotels at this price point.
