I recently booked a room at this hotel for my parents, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their experience. From the moment they arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my parents were comfortable and well taken care of. The service was truly outstanding. The room was booked for one night and included breakfast the following morning, which my parents thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel also has a restaurant where guests can purchase extra meals at any time, which was very convenient. The availability of a car park made their stay even more hassle-free. My parents were very satisfied with every aspect of their visit, and I’m grateful to the hotel crew for making their stay so enjoyable. Thank you for your exceptional service! Although the check-in time was over, there was no contact information and I went to the place with anxiety, but all the staff welcomed me with a smile. When I heard a restaurant nearby that was vacant, he introduced me to the Japanese restaurant next door and responded to my desire to drink beer. The free breakfast was delicious and it was a good memory with the very friendly staff who cared for me from beginning to end. The neck is that it is a little far from the center and the entrance is a little difficult to understand, but it was a very good hotel.

Hotel Nippon Colombo offers a decent stay with a few hits and misses. The rooms were okay — fairly clean, but could use some updating in terms of decor and maintenance. Service was polite but a bit slow at times, and certain amenities felt a little dated. That said, the food was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant really impressed us with flavorful Sri Lankan dishes and a variety of options that felt authentic and well-prepared. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the meals consistently stood out and were the highlight of the stay.

Good for one night in Colombo. They let us check in after delayed flight and organised a tuktuk the next day to bus station

The stayed at Lavinia Bay Beach Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly designed, offering a perfect balance of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The highlight of my stay was the breathtaking view from the balcony with a sea view, which provided a perfect spot for relaxation. The on-site restaurant served a variety of delicious dishes, with fresh ingredients and excellent presentation.But the pool has to be renovated and maintained.

I stayed there for a night and extended the stay for one more night. There's a kettle, water, glasses and cups, coffee and tea, a fridge, bottles of shampoo/conditioner and lotion. You can have breakfast on the sixth floor, and there's a great café called Grind nearby. Two supermarkets - Spar and another one - within 5-10 minutes on foot. The towels had tone cream spots on them, and they don't seem to clean every day (on the second day, i called to ask for some water and toiletries, but only got water). Besides, i heard the noise of the vacuum cleaner in the hall at 9:30 pm - i requested a quiet room and was trying to fall asleep, so that was disappointing.

The boss and waiter were excellent and willing to help. One of my mobile phone data cables was broken, and the boss drove me to buy it. The hotel room is rustic and has a feeling of home. The trees outside the house are lush, the birds are in the morning, and the tropical jungle is a scene. Every day the boss will make a rich and delicious breakfast, clean and healthy and nutritious. The boss warmly introduces the local landscapes and local customs that are worth visiting, which is touching. It’s a home stay hotel. Wonderful service, The owner is ready to do whatever he can to help. Tropical trees surround the house and you’ll be waken up with the singing of the birds in the morning. Very tasty breakfast, both local flavor and western.

Amazing location and friendly staff and clean rooms. Will be a added bonus if we can have Jaffna food Available all day from lunch time till midnight. Great experianca. Well done

It is very convenient to be next to La** Beach. The room is a bit old. The staff said it was opened around 2000. It is a bit old, but the service attitude is super good. I also like the breakfast. It is very cost-effective. I think I will choose here next time I come to Colombo

Location was good, in the heart of the city. Rooms are average and hotel did not provide shower cap, soap and shampoo. Else everything was ok. Recommend only for short stay. The only thing i like about hotel was friendly staff and plenty of food restaurants nearby area. Else everything was average.
