The hotel's infrastructure is in a good sanitation environment and it is difficult to find a parking space in the city center. We recently stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young children (4 and 5). Booking was seamless and easy bar some confusion over whether breakfast was or wasn't included. The hotel is in a phenomenal location in Petite France, however bear in mind as it is on a pedestrianized street there is very limited parking at the property. This isn't an issue as there is a public garage close by and the hotel has a subsidized rate of €18.50/night. The building itself is beautiful and historic with plenty of period detail. The rooms are old but well equipped and clean and they have character(wooden floors/beams etc.) Ours was a family room so there was a set of bunks which the children really loved. The added benefit of a Nespresso machine also went down well with the caffeine addict parents. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. There were plenty of towels provided and the hotel toiletries were of decent quality. There were only small niggles within a great overall stay. Namely a lack of seating and supplies at breakfast on both mornings and also our room wasn't cleaned even though we had requested it and we had been out for 6 hours. Overall would recommend and stay again.

For our return journey from Italy we booked 2 nights at the Residence Inn. The serviced apartments hotel, together with its sister hotel AC Hotel by Marriott, is located in a brand new building in the booming European Quarter in Strasbourg. The Pradus underground car park is available for both houses, which gives hotel guests a discount of 5 euros per day (exchange tickets at reception) and also has an elevator to the hotel level, which is barrier-free. We chose the Residence Inn because it had a very reasonable deal including breakfast and a 20% discount at the gourmet restaurant L'Archipel. The entire house with both brands is brand new and the rooms are up to date with the latest hotel amenities. In addition to the location, the quality of the Marriott beds and the good AC hotel breakfast, which always includes an IBERICO S*****en from the slicer, were other reasons for choosing the hotel. We were able to easily go on excursions to the Alsatian wine villages by car. The European Quarter, including a visit to Parliament, can be explored on foot. Attention: For Strasbourg and Colmar, German cars have also required the Critair environmental sticker since the beginning of 2023. It can be easily ordered online and costs a processing fee of 5 euros - a violation will be significantly more expensive. For a tour into the city center, where parking is difficult and expensive, we recommend the modern tram, which takes 10 minutes from the hotel to the center. We slept very quietly and well at the Residence Inn - the soundproofing of the windows is optimal. The good breakfast takes place in buffet form for both houses on the 9th floor. The staff is young and very helpful - special requests for breakfast were even served the following day without being asked. The only point of criticism: The air conditioning in the room blows specifically on your neck and back when you sit at the desk - but it is possible to switch it off. Conclusion: A modern mid-range hotel in the European Quarter that is equally suitable for business and leisure guests. You can choose between serviced apartments or the 4-star rooms of the AC Hotel.

First off - there is no place designated to park a car to unload luggage. There is however a sign saying don't park here. Parking garage - several blocks away - is very scary. Underground - no lighting. Then you have to walk past homeless people sleeping on the sidewalks to get to the hotel. Ick. The elevator is the tiniest I've ever seen. You cannot put two people in it at the same time. The room was large and clean though, and it was quiet. Freeway access was easy. There are a few good places to eat within walking distance.

We had originally booked a one bedroom apartment here but the day before our arrival we received a call to say that due to water damage which had just been discovered it would not be possible to have our requested room! Not great, but instead we were offered two separate studios and a free breakfast for the first morning. Upon arrival we were pleased to see that the rooms were close to each other, and the rooms were nicely decorated with good air conditioning (thank goodness, given that temperatures were in the high 30s throughout). Staff were friendly and welcoming too. The only negative is that the furniture (cupboard doors for one) appeared a bit worn and the corridor on our floor smelt a bit musty. Time for an update, maybe. Couldn’t fault the central location, though.

Great location, spacious rooms. This room has a small kitchen, a set of utensils, a refrigerator, and an electric stove. A large and comfortable bed, clean sheets, a combined bathroom, all the equipment in the bathroom are in good condition, and the hot water pressure is good. Wi-Fi is only near the reception, but it is fast. 24 hours reception. I recommend it to everyone.
