Where to even begin.. I spent a week in this hostel with my boyfriend. After reading the reviews, we were so excited to get to this hostel as it seemed like the place to be. Most definitely not. We felt like we had been catfished, this hostel is VERY small, like extremely small. We attempted cooking in the kitchen once, never again, the kitchen is tiny. I understand if it’s a small hostel your kitchen doesn’t need to be huge but the kitchen is absolutely tiny everyone is on top of each other, and the ovens don’t even work. It’s literally like a narrow hallway. Also... the photos online suggest there’s a room with a pool table, another room with a TV etc., it’s all crammed in one room. Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Although, the worst part about this hostel is the location, no one seems to mention the fact that King’s Cross is absolutely full of homeless people on the streets constantly off their face on drugs, I mean FULL of them. We both felt very unsafe and uneasy just walking the streets, I’ve never seen anything like it and we’re from Leeds so that says something. So if you’re planning on visiting Sydney, I strongly recommend staying away from the Kings Cross area altogether.

Stayed here with my husband and son on the first leg of our Oz journey. We didn’t see a lot of the staff (we didn’t need to) but when we did they were very helpful and courteous and happily helped us out. The room itself was fine for our family of 3 and although the bathroom was small it was perfectly useable. The site of the hotel was great, a 5 min walk to King’s Cross station, 20 minute walk to Paddington and 10 minutes to Rushcutters Bay. A great little hotel that is a perfect base for exploring

Excellent hostel. I can discribe it as a big house full of friendly people and good vibes. They offer free breakfast and 3 free dinner per week. There's a TV room where people gather to have a good time after dinner and the common areas (patio and kitchen) are really good to socialize. As a big house that was reefabrished they don't have elevators and some rooms are two floors up but the pepole who work there are super helpful.

There is free breakfast and a kitchen where you can cook. The location is also good and very convenient. There are supermarkets around It's okay to stay for one night. There are many people and it's a bit crowded. It's very convenient for one person. It's okay. You need to pay a deposit key to check in.

Had a great week here in October followed by a second week in November. We had stayed here for a fortnight in 2017 and were more than happy to stay here again. Comfortable family owned owned hotel, (with good WiFi), in a great location. Kings Cross Station is 5 minutes walk away a there’s plenty of restaurants nearby. Not only that, the cafe on the ground floor does a great breakfast. If and when I’m back in Sydney, I’ll definitely be back here.

For us Potts point is the coolest, Neighbourhood/village in sydney, this apartment block that is partly hotel, with its art deco charm, is a fantastic representation of the area, it is located in a quiet part considering it border with the cross/*****, we stayed in one of the un-renovated studios, however it had a quirky 70's charm, the studio is huge, with plenty of room, with a workable kitchen and dining table, the bed was a king with a extra single doubling as a sofa, all in all a lovely apartment. The reception staff, (jade), was helpful and very friendly, accomodating my elderly mother, she had a wonderful week stay and cant wait to come back, stay with these guys.
