"The room is OK, the landlord can arrange a drop-off at the airport, 7 pounds. It’s a bit early to check out."

"We (family of 5) stayed in the family room as we had an early flight from Stansted in the morning. We emailed Julie with our arrival time and she had everything prepared for us including an additional camping bed in the room. We were greeted warmly and showed around our and the breakfast room. Julie even went as far to place boy/girl napkins on the table for us which was very sweet. The room itself was lovely - large enough for 5 of us and our luggage. Beds were comfy and we had good hot water and biscuits/hot drinks. The location is perfect for Stansted, it took us less than ten minutes to get to the Mid Stay car park but note that if you're in the Long Stay it's a longer journey. Another advantage is that they will let you park your car on-site for a small fee, and you can then taxi to and from the airport which is only a few minutes (we will definitely do this next time as it's considerably cheaper than the airport car parks). Breakfast was amazing - since we left early we weren't that hungry but they had a huge variety of cereals, bread/crumpets, yoghurts, drinks, cereal bars, cheese, fruit ... the list goes on. Price was also very affordable especially for larger families as we could book a single room vs. having to book two (most places are max. occupancy of four). Many thanks and hope to see you soon!"

"This Holiday Inn at Stansted AirPort is an excellent choice for travelers. Located just a 5-minute away by shuttle bus, the convenience can't be beaten. The rooms are comfortable for spending a quite rest and the rates are very reasonable. If you're looking for a hassle-free stay near the airport, this is absolutely the best option!"

"Hotel is very close to the airport, but note that the hotel shuttle is 4 pounds (what happened to the days of this service being free? 😭). Staff was a bit of a mixed bag. I was checked in by a rather miserable person, but check-out was polite and friendly. My room said a king bed, but I don't know if UK bed sizes are different, but it was more like a double. Room appeared clean, but I did find some hairs in the sheets that didn't belong to me and one of my pillows looked a little suspect. Fine stay for just a night when you need to be near the airport. Vegan options available for meals, although I didn't eat at the hotel."

"Great Lodge is close to the airport (58 mins walking or 14 mins by bus). I wanted a place in nature, and I was served : multiple public footpaths and hiking trail (see picture). The room was clean, spacious and warm. Didn't have soap or conditioner as mentioned, but I didn't need them since I had mine. Check-in and check-out were easy (a person was at the front desk). "Small room, bed and bedside cabinets. No fridge in the room. The bed is very close to the wall. The sink in the bathroom was set back and difficult to reach. Lack of adequate tee/coffee & milk for two guests. Take away breakfast was very basic and inadequate. On the positive side, the reception staff were helpful and friendly. We were checked into our first room earlier than the allotted time. When we reported a defective hallway light in our room, we were moved to another room on the same floor. We were also given a vouched for courtesy snack. However, we felt the second room was of similar standard to the first one. Generally, the rooms looked tired. We expected a much higher standard rooms for a Hilton Hotel."

"TheRadisun blue was great. Trip.com was the let down. I needed to get in touch over a booking matter which the au chat couldn’t deal with and after searching for over an hour, there was not one phone number to speak to a person. I ended up having to rebook my stay at an extra cost of £104 Nightmare"

"Really good service all the time from checkin to checkout. Restaurant has a good variety for evening meals. There is shuttle bus which is £4 one way to and from the airport. Buffet breakfast has great options too. Perfect if flying in and out of Stansted."
