La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa North I-75 Reviews

It’s located about 20 miles from Tampa downtown and the breakfast bar very poor even for continental level, however front disk staff are lovely and very comfortable beds. I must mention also the pool which we were very excited to use was out of order during the stay of 6 nights

Great place to stop by for a night. Breakfast is not great, you may grab a yogurt or an apple, beside that there wasn’t much to eat or drink. The service is pretty good, but I wouldn’t stay more than one night- great for quick stop if you driving and need some sleep. The room is pretty big, but the bed is not really comfortable.

First assigned room was not even cleaned. Bed was a mess. Used towels on the dining table. Hotel thought they did me a favor by upgrading me to a larger suite. That room was filthy , stains on sofa and chairs. Lights in kitchen didn’t work. Rug pulled up by front door creating a safety hazard, outlets broken, tub dirty and inoperable. I will never stay here nor use trip.com again. I was here for surgical procedure for my Cancer and had to endure this filth and no help from either hotel or site I used to book this stay.

Great hotel nice location near good food places and very close to the airport

No hot breakfast. Juice, coffee, apples, bananas and muffins. That's it. Not very clean, dirty carpet on hallways

The hotel is good. The staff is great. I didn't like the breakfast. There were only boiled eggs, waffles and cereal.

My room was immaculate, the water pressure was just right, and the hot water was a delight! The bed was cozy and inviting. Every staff member I encountered was exceptionally kind and considerate. The only small downside was that the breakfast options were mostly sugary carbs, except for the boiled eggs. One can only eat so many boiled eggs in a week! 😄 I was staying at the hotel due to my husband being in the nearby hospital, far from our home. As an elementary teacher working online, they were very understanding and flexible with my checkout times. In my rush between classes, I accidentally booked the wrong checkout date. Despite it being my mistake, the manager graciously rearranged things for me, going above and beyond what was required.

The property was Dirty, and rundown. Complimentary breakfast was toast, waffles, or corn flakes. Room was rundown, toilet didn't flush, door know to enter room was very hard to open. No Ironing board.

My stay here at the La Quinta North in Tampa Fl was amazing . Thanks to Dimple and her staff, they made sure I had everything to make my stay a comfortable one .. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family when they come to Tampa… Thanks, Karen H 🙂

The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised, because this has not always been our experience when staying at Wyndham affiliated motels.

Found no bars of soap in room. No television remote. Romm had only 1 pack of coffee for two people Received 2 quarter size bars of soap from front desk along with television remote. Breakfast menu has diminished. over past couple of years.

I strongly discourage staying at this hotel. The staff is not the problem—it’s the overall condition. In my 52 years of travel, I’ve never encountered such low standards. The issues range from malfunctioning irons and hazardous hair dryers to wrinkled ironing boards, cracked bathroom tiles, torn rusty table lamps, and even spiders. The lobby’s excessive use of air freshener makes breathing difficult and triggers coughing. For more details, feel free to contact me; my phone and email are on record. We spent a very quite comfortable stay at this La Quinta. Excellent customer service from check in to checkout. It was very convenient to the interstate and restaurants in the New Tampa and Wesley Chapel areas. We were in town for a hockey tournament at the Adventist Health Ice Rink in Wesley Chapel (approximately 10-15 minutes away from the congestion on SR 56)

The staff makes this location great! The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean, but our Manager, “Dimple”, made our 7 night stay truly lovely. Damion & Karan seemed to really mean it when they said, “my pleasure “, for bringing us extra blankets or hangers. I overheard Dimple instructing new employees & was pleased at her warmth and professionalism! Hospitality is a hard industry, but the folks here carry it off seamlessly.
