"Appreciated for the airport pick up & sending us away to the old town main entrance on our departure. It would be very difficult to come & find the hotel if no one picked up. Room is clean & bedding is comfy… nice & quiet area. Just a bit far from the old town center. Driver + guide offered us a day tour around the city with reasonable price. However, she took us to a tea store for tasting & we finally purchased some tea… which was very overpriced! We wasn’t realized at that time & found out the next day when we walked around other tea houses in the old town. We were charged a bit more than double the price! So never trust any stores recommend by driver or tour guide. Sight seeing is good enough but don’t made any purchase which are recommended by guide or driver. Tengchong is a nice area , I may come back."
