For a five-star hotel, the general service does not fall into this category. They guaranteed that there was a jacuzzi in their room, and we found ourselves having a simple bathtub without even hydromassage. The room is called deluxe...there is no luxury...the infinity swimming pool provides inactive services. A decent rest. Very attentive staff.

Amazing . Me and my family loved it. We will definitely be coming back. Stunning infinity pool. Lovely views and beaches across the hotel. Would recommend. Extremely delicious food. Beautiful room. Charming staff.

What a beautiful hotel, something for everyone. Peace and tranquility for adults, very child friendly if you have kids. Pools galore! Quiet resort with nice walks. To upgrade to half board was pricey so we ate in local restaurants. The only stress was the 2 women allocating tables in the morning for breakfast. Seemed unnecessary and long queues built up. They just didn’t seem to have it under control. The rooms are beautiful. Would definitely love to return as an ideal location for some winter sun and relaxation!

We booked a 2 bedroom sea view room for our family going by the photos online. When we checked in our view was overlooking a car park with the sea on the horizon! After lengthy arguments with managers we moved room the following day. I would advise anyone looking to book here to forget about booking any meal plan. We had the all inclusive package and struggled to book a table at a restaurant at a decent time, we could only get 8.30pm every night despite booking for our whole weeks stay upon arriving! Last night we had the Japanese’s restaurant booked, we sat down at the show grill table to discover that the show cooking wasn’t part of the all include package and would be chargeable (55 euros each for a cup of fried rice with a handful of prawns and a bit of veg) We did ask to be moved to the non show cooking area which was included in our meal plan but told it was fully booked although we noticed that that area was over half empty the whole time we were there! We have also noticed at the other restaurants when arriving for our 8.30pm table that the restaurants were half empty so left wondering why we couldn’t have had an earlier seating. The food at all the restaurants we did eat in were of poor quality and the drinks included were limited. My 9 year old was left complaining of being hungry around 5.30 when restaurants had no service and there was nowhere to get a snack from. The positives from our stay were that the pool area’s are huge so never struggled to get a bed and the views from the larger pool overlooking the sea are amazing. The grounds are well kept, all in all a beautiful setting hence my 3 out of 5 rating otherwise would have been a 1 out of 5. If you could use the hotel as a base and forget about needing 5 star service, hire a car or factor in taxi rides to explore other restaurants then you’ll have a good time. We took a taxi to Fañabe beach and spent the day at a beach club for one of our days. We paid 80 euros for the use of a Bali bed while there which included 60 euros food/drink spend on anything we liked. This was by far the best service we experienced throughout our holiday! It’s our last night tonight and we will be heading out to eat outside the hotel as we are all bored and fed up with the hotels limited food and drink service! We’re disappointed we paid for the all inclusive package here.

Hotel rooms , entertainment excellent ,all very clean . One fault , the food, apart from breakfast …. Which is quite a beautiful choice . The rest is Not good enough . If you don’t book in time at one of hotel restaurants , you have to eat out…. So that annoying when you’ve come to just relax in the hotel . So it’s kind of first come first served . The lunch menu around red level area is poor and a limited choice , plus the quality isn’t great . Another restaurant Algave is not great quality. for lunch . The Italian restaurant is the best bet but only open in the eve. All in all the hotel needs better standard of food . It’s important on a holiday , certainly on my holiday, that I’m eating lovely food . It’s sort of my vacation . Perhaps not on everyone’s list though .

Travelled with my partner & our 3 year old with another family of a baby and 4 year old. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews on here about problems getting into restaurants and big ques for the meal times. I can honestly say we experienced none of this. I think the most we qued for was 1 minute that was while they stood us to the side so we could be seated as a group of 7. Booking into restaurants was absoloutly fine, we logged onto the app at 5pm to book in for 48hrs time. Not once did we have problems doing this. We LOVED the Asian and went twice there. The Italians was also beautiful. A little disappointing that the pirate pool closed when we were there, we weren’t made aware of this closure when we checked in. But jet 2 were brilliant and refunded us some compensation for this. The rooms were great very spacious, so much storage which I was impressed with (sometimes hotels lack in this) very clean. The con I would say to the hotel - if you are all inclusive you can’t get any pool snacks, you have to go to the al a carte restaurants for lunch. Sometimes we just wished we could have stayed around the pool and ate. Also when we were there, there was a conference on for a couple of days and there was areas blocked off for this which meant there was times weren't able to access the sunset bar because of this. Staff were always helpful no concerns with this. Entertainment was great. Something different every night. Circus act was excellent and so was the DJ & sax the kids loved it. overall i would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

We were due to travel to the resort in 3 weeks, just to be told by our travel agent that both kids pools and the playground are being closed down and a major construction work will be taking place during our stay. We are absolutely heartbroken! We booked this holiday months ago as the final big holiday before our daughter goes to school. Surely the resort had to have this planned for months and should have advertised such disruption? With 3 kids and extremely limited facilities (we do not deem inflatable baby pools at the family pool to be suitable replacements) and the construction that will be going on for full days, we had no other choice than to cancel and in panic trying to find alternative holidays for the same time.

Another lovely stay. We have been returning to the hotel for 14 years and still love it just as much as we did the first time. We had a perfect sea view room. The pool areas are so vast that you can always find your perfect spot. We preferred the quieter adults area near to the Red Level. We enjoyed the entertainment especially the Rock show on Saturday night. The chill out area tunes were fab for pre dinner drinks. I am sure we will return again.

When you see the photos of this hotel online, it certainly catches the eye and you can't help but wonder if it lives up to expectations being so big. The good news is that on the whole it does. We stayed in a Suite that we were upgraded to thanks to my status with Melia, we were very glad of this and in hindsight don't know how we'd have managed without it having the space travelling with our baby. The room was comfortable, and very modern, we felt at home there and it was a joy to be in. My small criticism was although having a sea view and being a top floor room the balcony got minimal sun. I don't see what they can do about this though! The restaurants here are excellent, I don't know how anybody can knock the buffet as we have stayed in many nice hotels and we agreed this was the best we'd seen. It's amazing. We tried the italian and asian a la cartes, both impressed us although getting a table was a bit of a mission! We still managed it in the end, you just need to speak to a team member and work out how to use the app properly. Evening entertainment in the square every night was spot on, and we never found the table service to be a problem. The drinks were of a really high quality - unusual in an all inclusive resort. The location is great, and I like the gated access to the seafront. It's a really lovely walk with no loud a**osphere you might find elsewhere in Tenerife and I have some great memories of walking with my daughter in the buggy every day down here. My only frustration is with the all inclusive package. It was so confusing it took us a day to work out! It's actually pretty good but doesn't always make sense. We joked it was 'all inclusive but not really' as the pool food/snacks we saw some people ordering were not included for lunch, only two restaurants. Lots of little things weren't clear or were limited but to be honest, on the whole we were happy. One thing I would address is that the minibar was fully stocked but only soft drinks were included in the AI package. All alcohol in the room was chargable. With table service only at the bars in the evening, and the place being so big it's quite hard to get a drink for your room (which we really like to enjoy) in the AI package so I thought this was quite mean. We didn't book red level, and I don't regret it. To this day I can't really see what they were getting the we didn't, and for a lot more money too! The separate pool area that was roped off is something I couldn't care less about, the lounge and private entrance looked admittedly nice but not for the amount they charge. To make it worth it I think the hotel need to offer more (but certainly not take things away from regular guests!) Long story short, despite a few small frustrations the hotel definitely impressed us. It certainly has the wow factor, and we'd probably come back.
