Solbadhotel Sigriswil

For us it was a very nice stay. Nice staff, very good kitchen. The wellness area was also pleasant. Rooms are in need of renovation. But if you take into account the loss of earnings due to Corona, we can understand that. But we'll be back. Recommend you with a clear conscience.

The SOLBADHOTEL is absolutely recommendable, because professional service combined with super quality, excellent performance and very friendly employees make your stay more than pleasant. Then there is the gigantic view over Lake Thun and the mountains of the Bernese Oberland. Not to forget the clean, modern rooms and the great wellness area. If Lake Thun, then SOLBADHOTEL! The only negative was that we had to leave after a week.

Basically, our stay was very nice. The staff is very friendly, the food is excellent and the suite is large and comfortable with very good beds. From the large balcony you have a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The only downside was the somewhat poorly stocked minibar with just two small bottles of mineral water, a coke and a juice. Otherwise only alcohol. And that in the midsummer heat! Coffee and coffee cream were only minimally replenished. One should be more generous here. The consumption is paid extra by the guest.

Wonderful place. Very friendly staff and the food was great. Would have liked to have stayed longer and will definitely be back. The wellness area is very nice and the sauna area is large. Also a good starting point for hiking.

We had a very enjoyable girls weekend. The service staff was very friendly and competent, very attentive and courteous. Very authentic and nice manager couple. We will be back!.

The waiter was very friendly, gave competent advice and fulfilled my special requests. The food was good and tasty. What bothered me personally was the much too large portion of pasta I received, because I could hardly eat half of it. The menu explicitly states that you are careful not to waste food, which would actually be a good resolution. Suggestion: Serve smaller portions of side dishes with the note that you are welcome to order more.

A very beautiful view, so that relaxation begins immediately during the short vacation. This continues in the wellness area and with the delicious dinner. Nothing was missing, and the very courteous hotel couple contributed to this, reading our every wish from our lips. ALL service employees convey a friendly and positive a**osphere; we felt very comfortable in the entire hotel, in the wellness area and in the bathroom. Everywhere is very well maintained and clean. Without a car and with the Panoramacard Thuner See, which you receive free of charge for the duration of your stay, we had endless hiking and leisure opportunities. We would love to come back!

Sent our review to the hotel and actually expected a response or apology. In the meantime 5 W have passed and I would now like to announce my experience on Tripadvisor. The reception at the reception was very friendly, the wellness offer was very good, especially the massage, the room was romantically decorated, and the food was wonderful. Nevertheless, we feel the need to list a few points that did not apply to us. The receptionist asked us to a small table so that we could get in the mood for the coming days with a welcome prosecco. There was a couple waiting for us in front of us. After a certain time, the woman complained and it was still a few minutes before someone from the service took the order. On both evenings we waited quite a long time at the entrance to the dining room until someone had time to accompany us to the table. Our "romantic table", decorated with a red ribbon, was placed in the middle of the hall. So no trace of romance. There were still free 2-seater tables at the back of the fireplace bar, where guests were also served. On the 2nd evening we felt like having a cocktail and stood at the fireplace bar, unfortunately it wasn't possible to sit without a bar stool. We were served nicely, but the ready-made cocktails were served to us from the bottle. We would have been on the safer side with a Prosecco.

This is our fourth time at the solbadhotel and we are still thrilled!! The rooms are very nice, each has a balcony with a view of the lake or mountains. The brine bath is perfect and the outdoor whirlpool invites you to dream with a wonderful view! 😀 The staff is super friendly!! The breakfast buffet is very good and leaves nothing to be desired. The dinner is always great, we think the portions are very good as they are! So there are no unnecessary leftovers!! Everything great! Bravo! We will be back
